Amazing service and drinks! The flight of drinks was incredible!

Went for the first time today. My wifes tea was decent. I ordered the matcha latte, unfortunately it was full of unmixed matcha powder making it completely undrinkable.

4 star coffee, 1 star for the WiFi that didnt work.

Great place to go. Me and my daughter go at least every weekend.

Fantastic place to catch up on work, study, or meet a friend. The atmosphere is much more comfortable than the SB place, the variety of drink and food is amazing, and the staff are so friendly. It may take a few extra minutes to drive to, but I assure you the raspberry lemonade is totally worth it.

First time trying the place out. The spiced chai was amazing!!!!! The best I’ve had! The muffin was also very tasty! Customer service was awesome and they were very fast!

Charge way to much. Black iced coffee almost $6.00 no thank you Ill just get a 7-11 coffee thats double the size and under half the price and add ice myself.

This is a great local coffee shop. The service is good and their products are even better. Everything I have had here has been great. Whether you want a specialty drink, regular coffee, or some food you will not be disappointed with their products or services. The building has a rustic Texas theme with plenty of stained wood throughout. There is a large fish tank wall that is the first thing you see when you walk in. This could be a really awesome feature if it was cleaned up and kept looking nice. There are several places with comfortable chairs or couches to lounge in while you drink and eat. I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the floor under the table where I sat. Some of the chairs were extremely worn and showing their age. This is a cool place but it does need a good cosmetic face lift.

Im not the biggest fan of their hot coffee, but their Frappuccino like drinks are amazing and their hot chai tea is the best in town!

I loved this place! Iced white chocolate peppermint mocha and pumpkin spice latte were great.

Quite little sweetheart of a place in Abilene Texas

This place is hit or miss mostly just because of lack of consistent taste of their drinks. I never know if my drink will be too sweet or too bitter. Otherwise it is wonderful when done correctly. Great service with plenty of smiling faces and a nice atmosphere inside w/ plenty of seating

I went inside and they looked at me weird it was overall quite a great experience as I got a coffee, I didnt pay for it as I proceeded to sprint out the door then i went back in to pay. they have a nice hamster

A wonderful location for the southside of Abilene, and for north- and south-bound travelers. It is out-of-the-way, but easy to get to, once you know that its there. A great overall ambience, with a fresh, clean feeling once inside. I ordered a hot apple cider, instead of a coffee. Frankly, it tasted watered-down, as if steam was used to heat (and thereby dilute) the drink. Ill order a coffee the next time that I go. In my opinion, it isnt fair to judge any establishment on just one visit. I hope that they do well.

I dont frequent here, as I live out of town, but have met friends for coffee when I visit and have rented their patio for an engagement party. Always have a pleasant experience and renting the patio was a very easy process. They were very accommodating!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the biscuits and gravy on Sunday morning. We went about 11:30am and it was not crowded at all. Nice, relaxing atmosphere; perfect for our brunch. We will definitely go back.

Excellent coffee with excellent service! They dont always have their seasonal drinks listed at the drive thru so be certain to ask! The interior is comfortable and conducive to studying, working or socializing over a hot cup of Mad Coffee!

For some reason, their coffee is the only coffee that makes me feel a bit tummy sick after a while. However, I mainly come here to study and it is a great studying environment. Also, their blueberry toga is to die for!

I like the atmosphere, the service and the delicious blueberry cookies with a soft center.

At first, I was pretty worried that I wouldnt be able to find a good coffee shop in Abilene when I moved back last year. I am so happy that I found Mad Coffee and the wonderful staff that make up this nice little spot for coffee, study, community and the like. They bring in their coffee from Austin and its really, really good. I normally get a medium cup of what they call a Green Eye, that is three shots of espresso and the rest filled with regular coffee. It makes for a tasty and very caffeinated treat and will last me the entire day. I dare not to drink it all at once so consider yourself warned. :) My other favorites include the peach/mango smoothie and their beloved cold brew coffee. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with either of these options. Besides the coffee and the treats that they offer, you will be happy to find yourself inside a comfortable and very welcoming coffee shop that has very clean bathrooms and nice background music.

Unique coffee experience with great atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I tried their Chemex coffee and although it was my first time trying it and I have nothing to compare it to, I thought it was really good. It wasnt very strong, but the flavor really came out. They also have a rewards program, which is nice for this type of coffee shop. Ill definitely stop in again next time I come through Abilene!

First time. Cappuchino was tasty and hot. Which is a 5. Only did a 4 because its still hard to pay such a high price for coffee. Id go everyday if I could afford it.

I ordered a latte with half and half instead of milk with vanilla and caramel. It didnt have half and half it had milk,it tasted burnt. It was just gross all around. Definitely not worth the 6.75 I paid. I have tried a lot of different coffee shops and this is by far the worst. Would not recommend at all! Save your money,and taste buds and go somewhere else.

Worth the drive! This is by far our favorite coffee shop, the service is great, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting and I love the coffee and specialty drinks. After reading other reviews I am confused, what does the age, gender or for that matter the political affiliation have to do with reviews for a coffee shop? I enjoy the coffee / service and would recommend this establishment to anyone!

I love this little coffee shop. Most days employees are very nice. People do have off days... We all do. The coffee is yummy and the atmosphere is laid back.... Prices are comparable to other places. But miss the sayings sleeves.... Those were always fun....

Best coffee shop in Abilene. Go there every Friday for a mens group Bible study and the atmosphere is perfect for a group meeting. The staff is great and are very attentive as they know what to make as I walk in! Love it!

Pretty decent coffee and great customer service but the wait time is why I can only give 2 stars. Do not stop here if you are in a hurry on your way to work in the morning. The location is the most convenient for me on the way to work but everytime I decide to risk it and stop I get stuck in the drive up for 10+ minutes. This morning it was 12. I can drive out of my way to Starbucks or Dunkin and get helped faster then here. So if you have the time and not in a hurry, I recommend. If not, save yourself from being late for work and go somewhere else.

Ive not had a bad cup. I dont drink super fancy (a latte every now and then but mostly coffee + milk) so there may be a bit of bias. That being said, great staff, lots of blends and good conversation. Its Texas, be friendly.

Ive gone there a few times now and my experience is always the same. Nice place but the coffee tastes like water. Last time I went I dont think there was any coffee Im my drink. Im pretty sure is was just chocolate milk.

Complete waste of time if you want actual GOOD coffee. Ive tried to give this place a chance time and time again and I still get the same exact product. I am either left with watered down coffee or lattes without coffee all together. I would never recommend this coffee shop to anyone unless they liked flavored milks or scones.

Loved the iced unsweetened green tea, hated the pumpkin spice (it reminded me of Pine-Sol cleaner... Almost threw-up, [Posted 23 Nov 2019 around just at dark]. Good WiFi {5g per customer}. Im not sure why people keep saying overpriced in thier reviews? At most I paid $5 for the largest size drink there. The pricing is very reasonable. Please keep it honest! I definitely felt really out of place there as there is all college students or younger in there. I used to go to bars, but Ive quit alcohol. I wish more older people like my self would also go to the coffee places, especially those from the Xennials Generation. Are Xennials welcome here? Yes and no, because youll also get strange glances every once in a while. Maybe I should find a place more welcoming to the Xennials Generation. Any suggestions in your reviews would help a recovering alcoholic get back into a healthy life style and drinking coffee. Good thing I brought my laptop as I would have definitely been out of place as everyone had a laptop that was there. (edit: spelling)

I pass by this coffee shop every day on my way to work and on my way home. Always running 10 minutes late, so I didnt stop to try them out until quite a while after they opened. Why did I wait so long???? Their baristas are cheerful (no matter HOW MUCH ice and snow we have) and they get my order right every time (I change it regularly, trying to try out every possible combination of ingredients). Because of their great coffee, I have finally broken the habit of being 10 minutes late--cant wait to get my morning fix!

Great internet service compared to Starbucks so it is a better place to work as opposed to a Starbucks where u may not even be able to get much service (as Ive seen at Buffalo Gap). Drinks and coffee are different than Starbucks but good. Surprisingly Extensive menu and choice of drinks. Consistent quality. Multiple owners (3?) And so the managment is always on. As the area builds Mad Coffee should be a good choice. They have done an exceptional job of competing with goliath and bringing their own more personal style and local flavor to the area. If they are able to maintain quality and a fast service time when handling an overflow crowd at those peak load times they will be a long term success and a good alternative to Starbucks.

Most items I requested from the menu, they were out of. I stopped for hot cocoa for my 3 sons before school- they charged me for 2, made 2, and then had to re-swipe my card and told me to park around front while they made another. Ive been there a handful of times and its always been a negative experience.

Mad Coffee and More is a nice, quiet coffee shop tucked into southern Abilene, and is a hidden oasis, serving some of the towns best coffee.Im an amateur connoisseur of coffee (or at least I am in my head), and Ive been making my own coffee long enough to be able to judge a quality roast from a cheap one. I was impressed with Mad Coffees house brews, and I think its an absolute travesty that its so often overlooked by Abilenians because of its somewhat obscure location.However, due its lack of mass popularity, Mad Coffee cultivates a charming atmosphere that kids these days would likely refer to as chill. I personally enjoy the quiet ambience that is so often sought after in coffee shops. I would go so far as to say that the coffee shop itself--its design, its atmosphere, the décor--are more impressive to me than the coffee itself. Either way, I give Mad Coffee and More 5 stars. 10/10, would recommend.
