ALWAYS GOOD FOR WHAT I NEED TO EAT OR USE FOR THE HOUSE!

Terrible management. I Arrived at 8:20 pm and at 8:40 pm they were turning the lights off and waiting for me at the cash register. Closing time is at 9:00 pm. In any normal supermarket they wait for you until you are finished purchasing your groceries. Since it was dark, I stop collecting things and went straight for the cash register. At the cash register I paid for everything I got. I paid for the food with the food assistance money (food stamps). Then I paid 6.35 for beer with a debit card. The lady at the cash register tried to charge me for the beer again, because they are not supposed to put beer and food on the same purchase ticket. The cash register terminal separates food, from anything else that is not food automatically. I asked the lady why was she charging me for the beer twice? She answered me, that I had not paid for it it yet. I asked her, then why did I pay you 6.35 right now? She very unfriendly told me, that she did not know, that I have to look it up in the ticket that she gave me. I looked it up, and in fact she had already charge me for the beer when I payed with the debit card. Even showing her, she denied doing that and wanted to charge me for the beer separately in another ticket, thus making me pay for it twice. Another employee had to come and confirm that in fact she charged me for the beer. To finish with the story, the employees were very unfriendly, except for the man that show me to the rest room, everybody else were unprofessional. They rounded up around me like if I was a thief, and they were just in a rush to get out of there. They did close exactly at 9:00pm after chasing me out the door, not having the least consideration for doing business with me. If you have a choice, do not go there. Econo Aguada is probably the last supermarket that you want to go. Any other supermarket, Selectos for example, will give you better customer service.

Econo de Aguada is an old building. It has no parking. The supermarket is very uncomfortable and the refrigerators are dirty and stink, I dont know how they have a supermarket like this open. I was shocked. They have empty buildings in front that were factories that can make a great Econo since this is the worst Econo that P.R. currently.
