Excellent tacos! The corn tortillas are delicious. The tacos reminded me of my days spent in Mexico City. They service was also quick. Dont be fooled by the appearance of the building on the outside.

Having spent quite a bit of time in Mexico, this is the most authentic Mexican food in Aiken... fresh, bright, and amazing. We go often and have never left without smiles on everyones faces... or groans of satisfaction. The torta al pastor is perfection... oh, and the tacos and the tamales. Dont be swayed by the grungy exterior! My mouth is watering as I write and I was there only yesterday!

I was taken here by a friend months ago. Ive been back many times. The food is filled with flavor and the cooks are quite nice.

The place is not much to look at but the quality of food served more than makes up for the appearance. Great little place to stop in and pick up to go. Or I have no problem dining in. True Mexican food at its best!

As far as the food goes, authentic as Aiken County can get with true mexicano food. The establishment does look a little shady but remember its a little tienda with an added restaurant. Overall the food is amazing but it does need a little Tidying up inside. But the outside looks do them no justice because their comida is GREAT! Do not be discouraged by the outside look if youre looking for authentic Mexican food. And Im from Californa with family in Guadalajara this is as authentic as SC will get. Amazing authentic tacos, gorditas, and burritos. Tamales were way too dry. But my tacos hit the spot.

Great, handmade tortillas and homemade Mexican flavor. Definitely a gem in Aiken. I drive from Columbia to visit here and it was absolutely worth it. Also, the family is great that owns the restaurant and store as well. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go NOW!

The tacos are fantastic. They offer them with handmade corn tortillas but offer you the choice on tortilla. The tacos come with cilantro and onion already so if you want without you have to let them know when ordering. There is no table service, you order at the window.The store side is limited but they offer a great variety of hard-to-find Mexican items like molcajetes, tortilla press machines, Mexican hotdogs and ham, etc. The items are a bit overpriced compared to other Mexican stores. There was not a lot of people when I arrived at around 4:00 pm on a Saturday but it quickly filled up after. Friendly staff.

The best authentic Mexican food in Aiken. Puts the other restaurants to shame. A hole in the wall location but friendly staff and the absolute best food.

Do not let the outside fool you. A+ tacos. A+ horchata and the condiments are on point! Fresh made pico and avocado sauce and spicy salsa. 6 tacos and 2 huge horchata cost us 18 dollars and it was worth every penny. Try the beef cheek!

Best authentic mexican food iv ever ate

Food was dry. The toppings bar was empty. Was the worst Mexican food I ever ate. Would recommend driving 2 more mile to the one in Couchton. Much better food and prices.

Authentic Mexican food! 100% doesn’t look like much but they have an A grade, very clean and the food is the real deal when it comes to Mexican food!

Always good. The ladies do an excellent job of serving up authentic Mexican food. Prices are great and food (tacos, quesadillas, burritos, gorditas) are made fresh. I highly recommend the Gorditas Pastor (the marinated pork is good not matter what you order it in). The dark windowless ambiance leaves a whole bunch to be desired, they dont have beer and the only sauces are really hot ones but get it to go, supply your own beer and taco sauce and its the best food in town. Truly a hole in the wall (or cave) in the back of a dumpy little tienda but brave the appearance and youll be very pleasantly surprised.
