They were very helpful to get me in and come up with a gameplan quickly to get me back on the road. I was on a trip with family so they prioritized. Friendly, professional and made the best out of the situation for me. Ill recommend to anyone and will be the only mechanic I choose in the area.

I’m a tourist a long way from home. I had a coolant leak that I couldn’t find. I thought it was the water pump. They worked me in on a busy day, did a good work up and found a deteriorated radiator hose. They could have just replaced the water pump and sent me on my way. During the test drive they found a bad wheel bearing that I had heard but had no idea what it was. This tripled their workload for one mechanic for the day. But they came through. I’m pulling a 5th wheel camper and that wheel bearing failing could have been catastrophic. Jeff, the manager was a workhorse, coordinating all this with my insurance co. Because I was on a tight schedule to get out of my campground, they were under the gun but were so professional and efficient and got me back on the road the same day. Janet, the receptionist helped us greatly by arranging transportation and keeping me up so date on progress. Also, she is just a wonderfully nice person to talk to. This whole team was great!

I scheduled an appointment weeks ahead of time to have my car looked at for a CV issue. After waiting an hour and a half my car still hadnt been taken into the garage for inspection. 8.5 months pregnant, I had a checkup I needed to be at so I asked for my car back. The receptionist explained that it takes more time to replace the CV and I said I only brought my car in to be diagnosed, I did not agree to replacing any parts at that point. She then got the mechanic who rudely explained it takes longer than an hour and half to get everything looked at. My car sat in the gravel parking lot the entire time, despite having the appointment set up they did not give any priority to my vehicle and it would have sat there all day waiting for when they could get to it. After insisting that I needed to leave (multiple comments from the receptionist trying to get me to leave the car and call a taxi to my appointment) they returned my car without charge. I must note that the pistol I had stored in the driver door was completely repositioned from how I normally store it, weird.I ended up taking my car to Rogers Auto who had it diagnosed in less than 30 minutes. My experience at Automotive Concepts was horrible and I will not be taking any of my vehicles back.

Very nice desk staff, my requested work was completed quickly and without issue.I went in to get my low side ac line schrader valve replaced, a service I asked for specifically.The staff even offered me a ride home while the work was completed, they went above and beyond for my needs and I certainly appreciate it.I cannot personally recommend this place for advanced or difficult services, only for the reason that my job was simple, and I havent seen their work on harder jobs. But if they can do hard jobs as good as easier jobs, theres no better place.

Hands down one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a mechanic. My wife and I were driving through the area (with our baby) when our alternator belt went out VERY late on Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend. We called other mechanics in the area and they couldnt get us in, but Jeff and Janet agreed to stick around until our repair was done. Got us back on the road in less than an hour. We wouldve been stranded until Tuesday had they not taken us. Cannot be more thankful to these fine folks.

Really cant say enough good things about Jeff, Janet and the crew. My radiator completely gave out about 100 miles south of Alamosa. I found Automotive Concepts and basically hoped for the best. My wife and I had a four kids with us and a trailer and were worried that our vacation might be as toasted as our radiator was. Jeff was able to order the part and installed it without issue. I wish these guys were where I lived. Great shop, great people.

A breakdown on a vacation can be the WORST thing that could happen, but Janets care and understanding, her help and effort to get us in and scheduled, and then Daves quick, knowledgable and meticulous review of our problem, and nearly immediate remedy saved the day. I am new to the area and am always in need of a good mechanic because I drive old cars. I have found Jeff to be very knowledgeable as well as very thorough. What I like about this shop is the fact that they diagnose the problem. They dont just say Oh well I think it is this part lets replace it and see what happens. they actually take the time and go through the process to find ut what the problem actually is. That is something that is very hard to find in a shop these days. They will inform you of the problem and have a quote as well as options for you before they perform the work, so that you can decide what you want them to do and how much you can afford. The entire staff is very professional and courteous. I would recommend Automotive Concepts to anyone. The prices are very fair and the work is exceptional.

I took my Dodge 2500 three times to Automobile Concepts with the alternator gauge arrow on 8 amps of out put which should be 14 amps of out put and said looks like i need a new alternator. They said looks like you need a new computer, $600 Dollars. I finally took it to CL in Salida, they put in a new alternator and fixed the problem, they also replaced a burnt out fuse so my air conditioner worked, Automobile Concepts wanted $750 Dollars for a new compressor. i feel like i got jerked around and takenby Automobile Concepts it felt sadistic in nature...

They did a good job at replacing my rear brakes but lied to me saying that all the parts that I bought were wrong so I asked for my old parts back to compare to the ones I bought and most of the parts where right except for my new brake shoes!
