This is not just a Muffler shop! Kent is hard to find on a back street. Kent can do Anything not just mufflers. He can make custom stainless exhaust all the way up to full race cars. Kent made a custom stainless exhaust adapter for my engine swap (I supplied the pipe) and refused any payment for it! Kent likes to talk about cars make metal art and show off a cool 32 roadster. Kents shop should be a museum!He can fix your car or just drop by to hang out with him. Such a cool guy with a lot of knowledge. If your a car person make it a stop on your vacation. Its worth a stop.

I was passing through Alamosa and had a problem with my catalytic converter on my Jeep and Ken worked me in without a appointment and had me on the road in no time...!! Great guy, good craftsman, and fair rates.

Traveling, my vans service engine soon light went on so I stopped at a local Chevy dealer in Alamosa to get repairs. They charge $100/hr, estimated $140-$200 to fix, and then spent 2 hours destroying the threads trying to replace the oxygen sensor. Dealer said he could not fix, said I needed to go to a welder and referred me to Kent. Thankfully, they didnt charge me. Kent was working on another car, but warmly greeted me, agreed to do the work right away and even referred me to a good local cafe for a cup of coffee. Work was done before I returned. Expecting to get soaked (as an out of state traveller), Kent only charged me $30! And we had a great conversation as I learned the story of his restored old school bus (41), a vehicle his dad rode in High School. Kent is the real deal - talented welder, artist and honest man. I cant say enough good things.
