We went here, even though they are about 30 minutes away because we thought we would get better care there. My wife got two pairs of glasses and a pair of contacts. Four months later they still havent gotten it all right. First the doctor noticed some swelling in her cornea, but didnt account for the swelling to go down, so after it did, by the time her glasses came in, the prescriptions were all wrong--so we sent the glasses back. After waiting more than a month, we finally had to call Sears because they did not call us, only to find that the glasses had been in for several weeks. Then after all that, they said that the one pair was somehow incompatible or they couldnt do it with the frames, so she had to pick out other frames. ...still waiting.... People are courteous, but there is no communication, and it seems a general ineptness. No more Sears Optical for us--well stick with the big, bad Walmart!UPDATE: We got the second pair of glasses back (finally!) and they BROKE after being worn for 4 hours! Now we will have to make another trip back to the store to take care of this problem. We are definitely finished with Sears Optical!
I bought contact lenses from here and the experience was hurried and rushed. It wasnt that it was quick in and out. There are several types of contact lenses that you can order. The lady who helped me just picked a type and then it was over without a discussion about what would be suitable to me.When I went to pick up the lenses I wanted instruction on how to put them in and take them out. The lady that helped me rushed me and I was not even told there was one prescription for one eye and another for the other eye. If you are new to something dealing with your vision care go elsewhere. Also they are quite a bit more expensive than other places. The lady was not rude or anything. The people are courteous. I wont go back for more though. Good Luck!
