My first visit was this past week. I want a paella pan, which she carries. She has a 15 pan which goes in the oven and serves eight. I was looking for a smaller one for my stovetop. For a small mom and pops store I was pleasantly surprised when she recommended I try another local business.The items The Culinarium carries are unique, authentic, and reasonably priced. All very affordable. I will be stopping and shopping at Constances whenever I can.This stop my purchase was saffron from Madagascar, and authentic Spanish paella rice.(If you find this review helpful please give it a thumbs-up 👍.)

Great personalized service. I purchased a Black Cube Saute pan. I have been using it now for weeks and its wonderful. Its balanced and heavy enough and cleans up so easily. I love it!

I have been shopping at the Culinarium for several year and always happy. The service and knowledge of the owners and staff is exceptional. I have had a great experience with each visit. Awesome store. I initially called the store looking for some kitchen accessories. David went above and beyond to help me get what I needed by taking photos of the items and texting me a picture! Being that it was exactly what I was looking for (fruit and veggie wire baskets), and as supply was limited, I visited shortly thereafter. The items were set aside for me upon arrival! Super friendly shop owners, super cool vibe, great music, AMAZING selections of kitchen accessories and fine foods, and even a treat for my Chihuahua! A must visit for all cooks! Wonderful selection of cocktail paraphernalia and unique cooking ingredients. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff/owners. Had a lovely chat about bitters with the owner, and as a local bartender, it meant a lot that she was enthusiastic about her products. Definitely making this my regular spot for specialty ingredients!

Love The Culinarium! Everything in this store is of the highest quality and you can tell that the wonderful owners have put a ton of energy into selecting each item they sell. Ive given their oils as gifts and they are always a hit! I also have several pots and pans now, from the Culinarium and am so happy with how theyve performed and held up!

This is an amazing shop with wonderful products. The owners stock the store with quality items, and everything that I bought there ended up being fantastic. I will definitely be back many times, because kitchen stores are my absolute favorite, and in my opinion this is one of the best!

Eager to please, great customer service, but because they are in downtown Ashland where the rent is basically the same amount as downtown San Francisco, they have kinda high prices. Not there fault, Ashland is really expensive. When you need something right away, you can count on this place. They have saved me many times.

Really nice store. The lady who helped me (Im assuming the owner) was very nice and patiently answered my questions. I had previously looked online, probably could have saved money, but to me its worth it to support local stores and lessen shipping.

The quality is excellent, the prices fair, and the selection very good for a small shop. I placed an online order and my purchase arrived the next day! I am so impressed with The Culinarium. I had been looking for a particular Dreamfarm product for years and was never impressed with what I found online, or it was always out of stock. I was able to find what I’d long been searching for on The Culinarium’s Instagram page. I was shocked when it was delivered then next day! It even included a quick handwritten thank you, and some sweets. I called and chatted with the owners, David and Constance, to thank them for their amazing customer service and had the best heartwarming conversation! I’m so glad I was able to support this small business.

Great shop. The Culinarium is small and cute. And it’s the only place I can get 00 pasta flour in town. Love it.

I LOVE this store. Anytime I have a kitchen/cooking need, I come her first and every time they have what I need (and several items I WANT). The owners are also great -- really knowledgeable and engaging and engaged. One of my favorite shops in one of my favorite towns.

I love the selection of unique items. This independently owned store carries so many offerings and makes an effort to deal with producers and manufacturers directly. Awesome!

High quality kitchen supplies as well as tasty olive oils, balsamics, spices, and other amazing ingredients. The organic aged balsamic is more delicious than anything Ive found online. They also sell verjus which I use in cooking and making cocktails. I wouldnt know where else to get these things around here. The owners are knowledgeable and super helpful, and if they dont have something you need, they will tell you how to get it. One of my favorite shops in town.

We wonder into this shop once or twice a month and always find something interesting or unique to add to our pantry. The people working are always helpful and have a recipe or two to share.

Only store in the valley that had an item that we needed! We called ahead and they held it for us until we could get to the store! Staff was friendly, fast and the store is great!

I went in looking for a new non stick fry pan, because I didn’t want to continue using our old Teflon pan. They sold me a pricy Black Cube by Frieling fry pan telling me it was non stick. This is not a non stick pan by any means of the imagination! It requires heavy duty scrubbing after each use, even when I just cook up just some mushrooms.Not only that, but I find the owners off putting and not very customer friendly. This is not just from a single visit that I speak of. I Have gone in there quite a few times and have yet to go in there and feel welcomed. After this last experience they will not be visited again!

Fabulous specialty food and kitchen supply store. Sure, most items are a little on the pricey side, but we all deserve to treat ourselves during Covid time, since were doing more cooking and eating at home . Think of all the $ you are saving by not eating out anymore! I particularly like the Culinariums supply of flavored balsalmic vinegars.

The Culinarium is an Ashland treasure. It is full of delightful items for everyone that enjoys new, unusual, and classic culinary items.

This is a lovely store of fine French food and kitchen ware. We bought some beautiful napkins and table cloth from Provence. It was an enjoyable experience to shop there. The owner is very knowledgeable in all aspects of fine cookware and accessories. Definitely a step up from Williams and Sonoma.

I love this specialty foods market. My regular pantry purchases include their JM Brand Zesty Lemon Avocado Oil and their JM Brand Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar. The only ingredients you need to dress a green salad or sauteed/roasted grilled veggies. I buy gifts for family and friends here also. Knowledgeable staff helps you explore new flavors and cooking/baking suggestions. A dont miss it shop in Jacksonville, Oregon.

Love some of the product here, but hate that they advertise being open until a certain time but arent consistent with it. Jacksonville isnt exactly on the way - its out of the way for the majority of the Rogue Valley - so if you get off work and think youll make the trek in time, you wont. They say theyre open until 530, but if its 520 theyre closed. So annoying. Just say youre open until 5 and save the rest of us the hassle and gas money.
