So many great options for someone who eats plant-based. I love coming here for lunch. The staff is so friendly! Also very affordable.
The owner of this place has an incredibly large ego. I paid $3.99 for a child’s mac n cheese. Half the cup is noodle and the rest was the cheese sauce. It’s basically cheese soup! When I called the owner he just went off about how his prices are the best in town. When I asked if he would mind letting me speak he responded that it just sounds like I wanted to complain. Ummmmmm that’s EXACTLY why I was calling and as the owner of a business have a backbone and listen when a customer is telling you they aren’t satisfied. The picture is what I was left with after straining out the watery cheese sauce.
Manager is not really good at customer satisfaction or being a decent human. Would not give us a refund or even let us exchange our order for something quicker when we were running late and already waiting 20minutes at that point. Shame on him for trying to make a scene when we asked for someway to work it out. He blamed being short staffed even though we counted 8 individuals behind the counter.

First time trying this place on the recommendation of a coworker. Waited behind someone in the drive thru for like 15 min. I never even got to order. I had to reverse and leave the drive through and last I saw the person was still waiting for their order. Wasted half of my break bc I wanted a simple coffee. 0/10 don’t recommend if you are on a time limit or want any kind of timely service. Maybe she had a large order but then they need to place a quantity limit on drive thru orders if they can’t prepare them quickly.
Im giving a shout out to Cat and Megan at Rio Coffee Brewery. Service was pleasant, quick and, exact. I feel like they went above and beyond. Also, chit chat is always a plus. Id definitely recommend!!!
Cute little place that has some of the freshest sandwiches. Breakfast served all day and smoothies were great. Staff is very kind.

I loved it. First time visitor & I got the frozen vanilla frap. It was delicious. I live 45 mins away & have been craving it ever since. Debating taking the drive just to grab another.

Finally tried Rio for the first time and kicking myself for waiting so long. Great coffee and breakfast and the gals that work there were super nice. Overall great experience and we will be back often.

Good service and good coffee
>$30 for two coffees and two “omelettes” and hash browns. Coffee was good and as ordered. The omelettes were appalling however. Does not deserve even one star. Eggs from a carton and microwaved, American “cheese food” slices microwave melted on top, ham omelette had diced lunch meat between the two loaf shaped microwaved egg pieces. Hash browns were pre-formed frozen slabs you’d expect from McDonalds. Was not able to even eat the food. If you visit here, visit only for coffee.
First time here. Couldn’t taste any white mocha in my drink, for $5 I am very disappointed. The lady taking orders was also rude. She tossed my card back at me on the counter and was talking to her coworkers and not even looking at me when she handed me my drink. No thank you, have a good day or anything. So rude, will not be going back!

This is my favorite local place for freshly roasted beans. I usually also grab something to drink and snack on when I go to refill my coffee grinder. Im really happy with their sugar free syrup options, much more than S#+@!4ucks.
This quaint little coffee shop is just charming. The staff is friendly, personable and informative. The food is healthy & delicious. They bake their eggs & omelette. The coffee is unique & full of flavor. They have exotic flavors and they are freshly made there! I loved everything.

Great coffee.. sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Best coffee shop around. The cream puff latte they had in January was unbelievable. Then the owner ( I think) told me they could make it any time for me I was in heaven... Great place.
They have the best mounds frappe!!! They also have a Snickers frappe, and your basic run-of-the-mill frappes it might be a couple other special ones I cant remember they have very good service and they go a step and beyond.
Stopped in for a February special, it was a strawberry chocolate latte. I really enjoyed the comfy chair and 40 pages of a new book. Dave Davis and his family/team make it real like a home away from home. Who needs a national chain when you have a place like Rio in your backyard?

Was there this morning and tried the Rio breakfast wrap, VERY GOOD! And really like the drink.
I went thru the drive thru and was charged 30 bucks for 2 paninis and 2 med frappuccinos and still dont know what I paid for 🤨
This is the best coffee shop in Avon Lake. It of course has great coffee. But it also has excellent sandwiches, a huge selection of flavours to add to your drink, and sells whole bean. I love that it is a non-chain restaurant with a drive through. Nice people and its easy to recommend.
Love coming here and getting food and coffee. Way better better then any big chain coffee shop. Excellent service and new monthly specials! I love there breakfast food and home made tomato soup.
Cute local spot. Has about 8 tables and chairs inside. I would do a to go order. It was fresh and quick, friendly baristas as well!

Rio Cafe is hands down the best place to enjoy a cup (or two) of coffee. The food is to die for and the staff is incredibly friendly and talented. In the mornings, Karen always greets me with a smile and a “how are you, honey?” What a kind soul she is.
This is a good coffee shop I was recommended a Cafe moca that was good then I ordered a iced Caramel macchiato it was way too sweet but my hot coffee was good though if Im in the area again Ill be sure to stop thanks!
Rio is great if you need a quick bite and some coffee. The drive-through is a huge bonus when youre in a hurry. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito, its good any time of the day. I wish there were a location closer to Cleveland so I could visit more often.

Very good coffee. Easy drive thru. I like to turn off my car in the drive thru though. You pay and wait for coffee to be made without breathing in the smoke. My son loves the raspberry smoothie. Coffee is really good. Maybe when my son gets older we will go inside to drink too as the coffee brewery looks pretty good from inside .
I just had coffee, it was good. I thought it was a little expensive for coffee. I think I paid $2.25 for a 16oz. Cup. I wanted to get a refill but it was $1 and I decided it wasnt worth it. So I guess that tells you how much I liked the coffee. Enough to ask for a refill but not enough to pay for it. They told me they give refills if you get it in a mug.

Outstanding! Fast and friendly service with a smile. Ive had quite a few food and drink choices at Rio nd everything is great. The coffee is of great quality, both flavored and non, as well as the decaf. Beans can be purchased for at home brewing and they will grind them for you if you need. My favorite breakfast item is the Big Breakfast Wrap. Your choice of meat with eggs, cheese, peppers, and hash browns. You can get a medium coffee and breakfast for under $10, and that includes the tip!Kudos to Rio. Keep up the great work!

I am at Rio with my wife and son every weekend. Service is always excellent. Best coffee in town. Happy to take custom food orders. Every employee I have ever interacted with there is polite, friendly and helpful.
Local coffee shop with very good, customizable drinks. Great food, although I have heard they are smaller portions and more expensive than a typical coffee shop. Well worth it in my opinion. They have a nice drive thru with attentive service. They have a good selection of books to read with a take a book leave a book option. They have board game options and TVs, with remotes, in the dining area.
Really enjoyed the chai coffee and Avocado Turkey sandwich. Friendly staff. Room was rather warm.
Even though I love Michaels analogy I have to disagree. I love Rio, I have never used the drive up window since my legs work, but the service inside was fantastic. They are very pleasant, and the food was great!

Amazing coffee. They use local roasters so their coffee is always amazing and fresh. They rotate flavors everyday. They have alot if food options and its really good stuff. Big breakfast wrap and chicken pesto panini are two of my go-to items. You can go through the drive through or sit inside.
I really enjoy going to Rios. You can work on your laptop, the food is good and I love their flavored coffee. Just have to try and go on Friday when they have coconut cream. 😋

Good food and coffee. They actually grind beans and brew their espresso and mix stuff by hand instead of pressing a button on a dispenser. But, theres something basically wrong about fox news being played at a coffee house. Perhaps the Koch brothers are now moving supporting independent coffee houses as toe-hold into institutions that harbor and promote enlightened thinking. Start with good food and coffee. Get them innured to authoritarianism while theyre drinking their lattes and frapachinos and then work your way into entertainment venues, colleges and universities... Hard to say whats going on here.
