They were very good with my 5 yr old and made her first eye exam experience more enjoyable. Very helpful staff. Ive been with my oldest as a walk-in later in the day (so she wouldnt miss school) when it was packed and understandably the front desk workers were tired and a bit annoyed. Schedule an appointment and try to go in earlier in the day and youll be in and out quickly and itll be more enjoyable for them and you.

I had an urgent issue on Friday afternoon and Monique did her best to get me an appointment on Saturday. She and her colleagues were kind and courteous and made the visit pleasant. Dr. Willis treated me with the utmost care and eased my stress by explaining everything patiently. She was very thorough and took her time with my concerns. The whole office staff and Dr Willis were wearing masks which was highly appreciated. It was my first visit, but not my last. My family and friends will hear from me how very pleased I am.

I had my appointment four days ago for the first time at this office. While waiting for my appointment another (elderly) patient was loudly reprimanded in front of everyone for belching. I was shocked. Then when I had my exam, I was told they would be charging my health insurance for diabetes instead of a routine exam. I had also mentioned previous eye appointments where I was sent for glaucoma testing but didn’t want this because it was always ok. They dilated my eyes and looked inside and that was my diabetes check. When I went to check out the secretary told me I owed almost $150.00. (I had expected to pay my copay of $15, so was taken aback). I questioned why and was told that the diabetes test was a specialist visit and my health insurance copay was $70.00. The rest was towards my deductible. I explained I didn’t have a deductible for my copay and would only pay $70.00. When I called my eye insurance I discovered diabetes eye exams were free. So, the insurance called the dr office and was told they would send that to them instead of the health insurance, but I still owed because of glaucoma. I don’t have glaucoma, wasn’t tested and absolutely no services were given about it. I had mentioned it only. I was told that since I mentioned it, the dr could code my visit as a specialist visit and now I owed the $150 towards that instead of diabetes. I absolutely feel this office has no principles and feel completely taken advantage of. I wasn’t asked to come back for a specialist visit, just automatically charged for one because I said glaucoma. $150 for a word...

Dr. Conroy took time to exeme my eyes; Gina patiently teach me how to put contact lenses in and how to take them out also explain also answer all my questions about contact lenses without showing any inpatient .All stuff are friendly from beginning of visiting to the end.I am grateful for the knowledgeable and friendly doctors visit.

My children and myself have been coming to Dr Conroys office for years. I havent found any other optometrist that I like better then Dr. Conroy and his staff. The staff is very nice and upbeat. Whitney is super sweet and treats me like a friend. I like Dr. Conroys personality, he knows that sometimes we get nervous and tries to help us through that. Hes very super nice and he doesnt act superior like some doctors do. I recommend him to everyone.

Fantastic! My son is 3yo and non verbal, I called 5+ places before Dr.Conroy and all of them told me I would have to drive to Houston because of his age and not talking. I was in and out of Dr.Conroys office in 30 mins! Staff was super friendly and they had cute Halloween decorations.

I was in there a week or so ago with my wife and kids. My kids got their eyes checked. The doctor was personable and was great to my kids. The front staff were welcoming. Laken looked to be the only one in the back at the time of our visit and was very busy... she handled business very well and was hilarious when talking with us. Will be back next year!

Receptionist/assistant RUDE and condescending. After several years with my spouse and myself choosing this facility we are changing. I needed almost a birth certificate to even speak to her. After giving necessary credentials I was told my insurance wouldnt pay until after June 3. so I tried to make an appointment for the two of us after June 3rd, and was told I couldnt even make an appointment until after June 3rd. Dr. Conroy is a good doctor, but we arent going back no matter how good he is because of the representative who is our first contact when trying to continue using the Dr.

Yes, they are always busy, yes its small, yes it may get stuffy.... But Dr Conroy has continued to treat my daughter and is the only one who saw she had a partially attacked retina. Hes calm, answers all your questions and does not rush you.

I went into Dr. Conroys office on Saturday 1/12 as a walk-in for a contact lens exam. I signed in at 9:50am, was taken back for the pre-exam at 10:05. I had my visit with the doctor, gotten new contacts, paid, and left by 10:35! I did not feel rushed at any time! I am taking 1 star off, because I wish they would have told me about the $57 contact fitting charge. I have worn contacts for over 12 years, so all the employee did was hand me a free trial pair of contacts and a sample of contact solution while I put in the contacts myself. Other than that though, I would HIGHLY recommend this office. Everyone was extremely kind and professional.

Ive been going here for years and the service has been wonderful. I called cause I needed a pair of contact lenses ASAP and spoke with Melissa and she made it possible for me to get them. Everyone is always polite.

I had an appointment for 2 children at 12:50. We weren’t taken to the back for the pre screen till 1:40. The assistant was very rude and not very friendly when the children were reluctant when it came to taking measurements of their eyes as well as the puff of air that EVERYONE has anxiety about. She didn’t engage in any conversation other than to tell them to be still or we were gonna have to come back. What?! That’s what we weren’t gonna do. And for her to not try to ease their fear she decided to tell them our time would have to be rescheduled bc they couldn’t get a puff of air on my kids eye. So I asked, “would you like me to force his head to be still? Would that make your day easier? Want me to forcefully hold it?????” Needless to say, she got it done. After the pre screening we waited until 2:10 to go to the back only to wait another 30 minutes. My appointment was for 12:50. I wasn’t seen till 2:45!!!!! This office is understaffed, over booked, the least professional bunch of assistants I’ve ever run across (esp dealing with children ). Once we were seen by the Optometrist ( of the day) it was a smooth sail but his staff needs some serious retraining

I had to change doctors so I could get my son checked out. I have used the same place for years and have been handed a prescription for contacts and glasses at the end of every visit after the first. To my surprise this is apparently not standard operating procedures and received no explanations except eye rolls and snickers when I wanted to know why I had to pay 75$ to get a prescription to shop contacts elsewhere. Not only did they over book my time slot, the women were extremely RUDE. I consulted with a friend who is an optometrist and learned the prescription will be brand specific and my insurance changed and is probably different on the fitting fee. EASY explanation! Nahhh you girls just keep up the nasty looks with no actual substance to your “customer service.” Conroy- was enjoyable, sad his staff soiled the experience! Won’t be back and wasted $75, I will keep my original brand.

I have been a patient of Dr Conroy for a few years now an I really enjoyed going there until I was in the office Tuesday an overheard some employees talking there personal business an I was applaud! They were talking about there criminal backgrounds one was v on probation for felony theft an another one had been to prison for identity theft! I could not believe that Dr. Conroy would be so negligent as to have this type of people working for him. I mean they ask for your social security number for their charts and now that I heard those young ladies talking about their backgrounds I do not feel comfortable at all with them having my personal information! I will not be back in that office ever again! I feel if you work in thepublic a background check should be mandatory especially if you handling someone elses personal information! Im writing this to let everyone know please be aware of this office! And no this not hear say it can be proven.

Im an emergency situation, Heather sqeezed me in and I was treated very quickly. This service has always been superior at this office thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable staff like Heather. I highly recommend this office. My vision is the best its ever been with my new contacts.They also introduced me to Bio-Tru eye and comtact solution. Its absolutely the best. Waste of time. Tells you they can take your insurance, you give insurance info, set appt, you show up for the appt - and apparently they only take Medicaid version of your insurance.

I had the worst experience with the staff at this location. They were so rude to me and treated me like a kid. I can tell you why I had the worst experience.1.) I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance. When I came to the place, I had to wait for 1 hour until I was taken care of. What is the point of an appointment if I am treated like I was a walk-in and was not taken care of.2.) This whole process of me being taken care of should of been between 30 minutes to 1 hour. I was there for 2 hours and 23 minutes.3.) I had filled out the paper works 3 weeks in advance when I was trying to scheduled my appointment. When I came in, I had to spend another 10 minutes of my life filling out paperworks that I have done already online. What is the point of the online paper work?4.) When I was taken care of, they told me to wait for 30 more minutes for the eye doctor to take a look at my eyes.5.) The staff members overcharged me for my eye exam with my insurance that covers most of it. They overcharged me for contact prescription and for 1 pair of contacts for $77 which I already know contacts shouldnt even cost that much.6.) They didnt even have the right prescription. They said they will order the right one. I havent got a call for 2 weeks. I drove by and they told me that they didnt even order because the person quitted recently and didnt communicated with the current staffs to pass on the remaining work.7.) They wouldnt printed out my contact prescription at first and they told me that I had to wait until I get my right $77 contact trial pair to work properly when it came in.8.) They finally ordered my contacts and I had to drive all the way back there on my 4 trip just to get my $77 contact trials and they told me they couldnt print out my contact prescription until I try it out for another week. That would make it the 5th trip back to this place. This is very frustrating. I told them that I rather have it and they told me that it is finalize me if I request that.9.) This place is super overpriced with their eye exams and prescriptions along with their $77 contact trial pair.10.) They didnt even communicate what I was charged for. They just add charged me.Overall, I am done with this place because of the horrible service and frustrating time over there. I been going there for 15 years of my life and now I am going to Stanon Optical which they gave me a free eye exam and really good price for contacts and eye glasses and friendly service. Dr. Scott Conroy is a friendly eye doctor and I really enjoyed his service. Just the staff members are the ones that makes your day horrible.
