I had a relatively small purchase of just a length of wire. I am not an electrician, so they helped me with my purchase.They took care of me and I appreciate it.

Whoever salesperson KG is 100% lost my business at the Boulder location. Rude. Disrespectful. And the absolute least bit helpful. Did he adjust the price some? Yes. Was he incredibly uncouth and disrespectful about doing so? Again, yes. Spend the time going to Denver if you can. Theyre extremely welcoming and give the best deals to us small business owners. They really look out for the little guy down there.
Id avoid this company at all cost. I talked to a guy there about a pendant replacement for a customer of mine that was warranted. He kept cutting me off and wouldnt even let me give him the PO. Just kept saying Im not replacing anyone elses product. Complete Jerk.
HORRIBLE service. I am a small contractor and have used CED several times in the past for mostly specialty items. I called trying to locate a device which is not generally kept in stock, and Brian, the person who answered the phone, was the rudest, most impatient person imaginable. He made no attempt to find out if I was indeed a contractor, and just assumed using what obviously limited reasoning power he possesses. When he informed me that the style I was looking for was not available, I informed him that it actually was. At that point, he hung up on me. He made no attempt to find out how I knew, or who the manufacturer is. He had no concept of customer service. Instead, he was arrogant, and confident in his stupidity. I will not call this company again, thanks to Brian. I sincerely hope the management at CED reads this, and takes steps to improve their customer service. Until their service is dramatically improved, I would suggest to anyone else to find another source for electrical supplies.
15 years in the industry. 15 years of buying parts. Our company spends well over a million a year here. I walk in to ask a simple question (clearly they don’t know the answer to) and this arrogant CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE said he didn’t care to help me and it wasn’t worth his time. Uhhh? Really? Thanks for wasting my time. This went straight to the owners of the company and we are canceling our account with them immediately. They just lost a customer who has been doing massive amounts of work in boulder with them for about 37 years.
I have to agree with the negative reviews of this business. I found the counter person that I interacted with to be rude and unhelpful.

The staff is extremely rude. I thought it was just kyle who I dealt with a few times and was horrible so I went to another employee same snide remarks, snickering and making noises like dealing with customers is a hassle,tapping loudly etc. They claim to be geared towards electrical companies but treat every one like trash while we spend thousands of dollars there. I wont spend another penny unless they change their attitudes

Arrogant and impatient sales woman refused to help locate an item on the website over the phone.We could not locate direct burial Cat5 or Cat6 wire on the website. She insisted they stock network cable Blue, Black or White but was unwilling to spend just a little bit of time with me A CUSTOMER to find a specific item. I own a legitimate Telcom business and I have bought from them before but I will never ever give a business like this any of my money again. I ordered what I needed online - and saved the headache and sales tax. Avoid this shop, clueless on how to actually help someone even though the web site says Need Help CallA joke for sure.

As a local general contractor we will never use this company again. Very rude and lack of common decency from the staff. Funny my electrician who sent me over to them has used them for 11 years says they are all bad people (censored) but one person in the store. Clearly I didnt see the one person.
Unfair pricing for long term clients. Most products are double the price of a box store.
