This was my second visit to Dr. Swander’s office. My 1st appointment was 2 years ago. Both times Dr. Swander was very professional and personable. She explained all the test results clearly and identified the changes in my results from my 1st visit. I brought my 88 year old Mom with me to my 2nd appointment. She also had her hearing checked. She felt that she learned a lot and was surprised by the results. She very much appreciated that Dr. Swander did not pressure her at all. We highly recommend Dr. Swander for your hearing health.

I like going to Hearing Healthcare Centers. The place feels welcoming... One can ask for the technician attending your appointment to wear the optional see-through plastic mask. It really helps to make lip reading easier! An example of good service.

Everyone shows extraordinary attention to detail, with deep knowledge of how to adjust the processing parameters on my Starkey Liveo hearing aids.

Dr. Annie rocks!! Shes super friendly, down to earth, patient, and knowledgeable. Im probably one of the most difficult patients to work with for fitting hearing aids as I have a bilateral profound hearing loss. It took me at least 8 years to find hearing aids that would work for me and didnt sound like everyone was talking under water. I highly recommend Dr. Annie at Hearing Healthcare Centers.

My Hearing Health Center in the Boulder Meadows Center took me from a couple yearly FREE senior hearing tests, to following my increasing hearing loss, to a full hearing analysis, to hearing aid demos to purchasing my specific Oticon aids. I love the staff and especially Dr Annie who has been so helpful and has patiently answered every question I have had along the way. She set me up with my Oticon phone app controls and settings which is the most wonderful feature of modern high tech aids. Everybody is alert, knowledgeable and helpful, & they always use your name. My hearing aid was repaired quickly, but $50 per visit seems like a lot to me, for a 5-10 minute appointment. Still, better to keep up the maintenance ( I had let it slip!)

Through the years, since about 2008, HHCC has provided exception advice and devices for my hearing needs. Ive been hearing-challenged since childhood in one ear. The other ear has aged with rock music, the cacophony of contemporary life and whatever happens to most of us. I was unsuccessful in improving my hearing for many years, until I went to HHCC. They have consistently offered high quality service. Hearing correction is not perfect, but their tech-evolving products and care have helped me to maintain a social life.

Awesome! I had tried a series of high-end hearing aids at another audiologists and was continually disappointed. HHC took me in, and lickedy-split I had a hearing aid that actually helped me hear, and fit correctly. The audiologist listened to my concerns, tested accurately, and tuned my aid so it was right for me. I had almost given up on finding something that worked. All this was done with a smile and, I felt, a real interest in ME. I was allowed a test time period, even though I had a CIC model, with right of return. I always felt welcome visiting the office, and they even gave me a gift certificate. It doesnt get better than this!

The Hearing HealthCare Center in Boulder offers a level of professionalism that in my experience is unsurpassed. I bought a $6300 pair of Audibels knowing that I could have gotten a competitive product from Costco for about 65% less. To her credit, Whitney Swander, the audiologist who owns HHC in Boulder, never tried to sales-talk me or knock Costco and its hearing aid specialists. Instead, she had kind words for them, but also gave me enough information about the Audibel product to put me at ease that the extra money would be well spent.Product aside, the service is comprehensive and first-rate. lt included a series of one-on-one appointments spent fine-tuning my hearing aid, which has graphic equalizer settings that offer remarkably nuanced sound adjustments across the spectrum. I went to a Boulder Symphony concert skeptical that I would enjoy it using my new hearing aid. To my pleasant surprise, the hearing aid performed beautifully. There was a slight flutter in the sound of reed instruments, but this problem was addressed via the graphic equalizer settings during my next appointment at HHC. Besides the very subtle adjustments that can be made via a computer, the Audibel unit itself has four different settings, easily switched from one to the other, that cover virtually every audio environment Ive encountered so far. The unit is so unobtrusive that it was a day before my wife even realized I was wearing it.I paid for the device with a Citi credit card that effectively extended Audibels three-year warranty to five years, so there will be no expenses associated with maintenance, breakage or loss during that time. All in all, I could not be more satisfied. Working with Dr. Swander has been a very pleasurable experience. She is a true professional -- deeply knowledgeable and able to communicate what she knows very clearly.
