Today I was in an incident in front of their store were I was going down the line, a car seen me but backed out anyways. I swerved did small damage on my car. My salad I just bought there went everywhere. All over my dash, floorboard. This all sounds bad but these people replaced my salad and did not have to. You turned a bad situation into a good review! Now have a customer for life. Too bad there is not parking lot etiquette anymore. The salad was amazing!

Best local grocery store, great prices, and good selection. I haven’t seen the mask issue that other reviewers have mentioned, but it should be noted that vendors who stock products are different from store employees and are not necessarily under the same policies. Just food for thought...

Staffs from meat department and produce department are always super nice and helpful. Special order gets here within two days. Lots of local farmed products.

I am very happy with shopping at my T and C-excellent staff, good quality of food/good variety, fair prices. In these difficult times I find one concerning factor-I rarely see checkout staff or other workers wearing MASKS. Could management please provide proper masks for your employees? Thank you.

Town and Country is the number 1 place I choose to shop. Their prices are unbeatable and they have a great selection of organic. The employees are great and are very helpful. I love shopping here knowing that I am supporting a local business.

I found the shelves well stock the staffed well knowledgeable in all their food items, great deals One of the clerks went to the back room and actually got me a bag of flour which was recently sold out. We come down from Big Sky to shop here for several reasons. The layout of the store is very functional, and never have we had to fight through the aisles.The produce selection is generally great. The deli has a wide selection, a nice selection of proteins. They do not use plastic bags!The best thing about this store for us is the friendliness of the staff. They firmly stand behind what they sell, and will replace a product that happens to slip past their clearly precise quality control.

There are many things to love about Town & Country including the prices, for most things, and the discount racks for produce, bread, etc. I have found so many amazing deals on their produce rack. If you havent looked, you should! The selection generally is pretty good, however, the meat is lacking in my opinion. Truly, only reason I have T&C 4 stars is due to the attitudes of the employees. Countless times I have encountered rude and judgmental employees at the checkout. Only the checkout. Every other employee on the floor or the deli counter has been fantastic. At checkout I get judged for wanting my items to be put in a bag and that I didnt bring my own. Like its an inconvenience. Attitudes change where Im not even getting a thank you, have a good day, rather Im handed my receipt in silence. I take my receipt and feel put off to the point where I dont want to shop there and have looked for other options. Granted, not everyone has been this way but it is the majority. Other than this, I like the store and will return but will try to choose wisely while checking out.

The store is remaining stocked and rules are in place to limit a customer on how much they can buy. That to me is a huge plus.However the store is fairly crowded.

I go for lunch at the deli and the staff is always happy and working hard. The prices are great, people seem to like their jobs and everyone is friendly. If you can get a burger or wings, you will like them.

The cashier miscalculated the amount of money we gave her and short changed us. She asked management what to do and they said he can check the camera to see what bill we gave her. That’s fine. Then he says he can’t use the camera and will just have to see if the till is off at the end of the day. They collected my husband’s info and said they’ll call if needed. Why have a security system if you can’t use it?

Prices are kinda high compared to chain stores but its convient for college students.

Personally, I care for the other Town and Country. Despite being closer to a busier downtown, its easier to shop. This location is still really good, but can be packed at times. Poor selection for some generic essentials (but plenty of options for alt-diets like gluten-free).

I frequently and gladly shopped at Town and Country before COVID but had not been there since, until Sunday. I went during senior hours (7-8 a.m.), wore a mask, and wiped my cart handle with one of the disinfectant wipes that were made available. The cashier was behind a plexiglass shield and wore a mask. So far, good. However, there were employees in the store without masks. One man, stocking shelves, moved up and down the aisles with a large cart with no mask on. If Town and Country truly wants to protect its customers, especially those most vulnerable, all employees interacting with the public should be required to wear masks. That includes those stocking shelves as well as cashiers. Anyone handling food. I will not return to Town and Country until COVID is over or the policy is changed.

Great prices, nice staff. This is my favorite location as they have some unique items that we buy frequently. One of the great things they offer is the spice selection from Fisher spices. Local pork and lamb, some Hutterite produce, and great prices for everything.

T&C is a Bozeman staple. This location is a fantastic addition. The salad bar here is my favorite one in town. The eating area upstairs is fantastic. They have really done a great job of maximizing the space they have. The produce is universally in good shape and there are local and organic options available. I hope they expand their bulk section soon.

I got some sushi from here today because it looked really good, but when I ate it there was wasabi (or horseradish?) sauce mixed into the rice and I hated it. A lot of people dont like wasabi so I think its a bad move to mix it in without any sort of warning. The stuff they put into the rice also seeped into everything else so unfortunately none of the meal was salvageable. This was the chef special #6 and due to whatever was in the rice it was certainly not worth the $13.99. So, if you get sushi at Town and Country please be aware that there may be unexpected wasabi en masse. Whoever made this, please keep in mind that wasabi is a lot like cilantro and to many people, wasabi tastes like soap. The stuff in the rice seemed like a sauce and honestly I think it would be a great idea in a side cup to be put along with the ginger and wasabi paste!Everything else and Town and Country is good and Ive never had any issues with any of their other products!

Town&Country is one of our favorite places to shop for healthy produce, dairy, meats etc and their prices are very reasonable. The staff will help you anytime.

One of the best grocery stores in Bozeman. Excellent pricing and item selection. Lots of great local eggs/veg/and meat. The deli counter is an absolute gem. Their lunch specials during the week are top notch and at around $6-7 are better-priced then most lunch restaurants in town. T&C also has one of the best wine selections in the area. With a very knowledgeable wine staff that can help with recommendations and food pairings.

I understand the world is in a crisis right now but there is no reason for the cashers to be rude to the customers at this store. The customers are the ones who pay your paychecks 1st off. 2nd off there are no signs posted limit on all items. Then you should not be aloud to say who gets more than they should and who dont. 3rd your employees should not tell customers that they cant get a drink of something cause that there are to many people in their family.

I love this store like a home. Low prices, friendly employees, great wine and beer selection.If you want someone to bag things for you, you might be happier elsewhere. I happen to like boxing up my own stuff and walking out with it. :-)

Great grocery store that we shop at all the time. Plenty of variety on the basics and some of the best prices in town. The employees are helpful and friendly. The wine selection is stellar and if you have a desire for something unique, make an appointment to drop into their wine cellar for something special.

The only thing that disappoints me about t&c is knowing that someday ill move away and wont be able to take it with me.

This is where the locals shop! Look no further for a great selection of natural and organic foods, gluten free - theres hardly a better store in the nation for the best gluten free and specialty natural treats, and we are lucky to have them right in our own back yard. They may not have everything, but they have a lot, and it is all the lowest price in town!

I shop here almost daily. The staff is pleasant and the grocery selection is top-notch. My only complaint is that I cant seem to leave without spending more than I planned!

Best place in town for produce.

A local employee owned grocery store. Usually good produce, but can be hit and miss. Offers something in most product lines but will not have every brand and not a large specialty item selection. Their prepared food kitchen has the best breakfast burritos in town.

Just ran up to 11th Ave T&C for some wine and cheese..... Always good people, but today Michael B. Pointed out that the Gruyere bulk cheese I had selected might have a bit of mold, encouraging me to swap it out for another wrapped piece of Gruyere. Thank you Michael B

I usually have poor luck with finding items in this store, and service is typically hard to find, with the exception of last night. A handsome young man named Darius went above and beyond helping me, recommending great alternatives for the foods that I wanted!

Today, my boyfriend brought me some packaged steak from town and country to make us some steak sandwiches. After I cook the steak, I cut it down the middle and at first see something that I thought was a vein. Then I realized it was a fat worm. You can see the ridges and it’s little black head. Plus veins are thinner and don’t stop in the middle of a chunk of meat. We brought it to the store managers attention and he argued with us that it was a vein. He finally told us we could go grab a new steak, but why in the world would we ever want any meat from here ever again?!? This is absolutely revolting and I’m never going shopping here again. Please be careful of the meat you buy, people of Bozeman.

Dont bother trying to get any deli meat here. First I had to watch 6 employees stand around and laugh about how aged cheddar that they were sampling tastes for 5 min, then I asked for a half pound of thin sliced turkey and there sure is a half pound there but theres only 7 pieces. I dont even cut roast beef that thick. incompetence

I love this store, its very convenient, and usually the check out people are very nice, but when I go there during the daytime hours, (between 12 noon to 4 or 5 pm) the checkout people were incredibly mean and judgemental of the fact that I rode my bike and didnt want a bag, and acted as though they didnt want to be there. It almost made me want to never come back.

I am a student at MSU and live in Belgrade. I shop at the campus TNC and Belgrade one exclusively. Few minor complaints: the lack of connectivity between all there locations. For instance they give away turkeys every fall if you purchase so much in groceries. However, this is only per location and not all of them. Wish they would bridge that program at all locations like how Albertsons and Safeway do with there membership. I love the TNC at campus because the open seating area above. This is very nice for students wanting to get a quick bite and also study together. Unfortunately to my knowledge there is no guest or complimentary WiFi which makes inconvenient if you’re a student. Minor complaints but overall would recommend on prices, selection and quality.

Ive used this store pretty much since the opening of this location. Its the store closest to my residence. Over the years of its existence Ive noticed a problem with employee attitude towards its customers. Until now Ive held my toung. This is the last time I let the employees of Town and Country make me feel alienated because I want a pack of cigarettes. I wish it stopped there. Ive whitnessed serveral times that attitudes of employees change because of a variety of reasons. This is a grocery store, not the place to display the fake Bozeman elietism that seems to be taken as a local social norm. Sell food stop judging people.
