Not a very welcoming vibe unfortunately... Great set up inside, but couldnt even get a hello or welcome. Came in to buy a bag of beans, I had to ask the lady at the counter a few questions and she didnt help in the slightest. Wasnt sure about this, didnt know about that... Ive never tried their coffee before and trying to hone in on whats good. Apparently you cant buy the drip beans and you cant get a pour over of any of the specialty beans for some reason. Doesnt make sense.Probably wouldnt recommend this place... Staff alone really turned me off to the coffee
Really delicious coffee! Ill admit I was a little hesitant to pay $6 for a quad 16oz latte, but the bold flavor and perfect work atmosphere were really worth it. Ill happily come back next time Im passing through.
A wonderful local business with great owners. Ghost Town Coffee offers lots of carefully roasted and thoughtfully blended options for all tastes and preferences. We loved the Velvet Hammer, but also like the Dawn, Bold and Clean blends. Highly recommend this local shop.
Just enjoyed the best cup of coffee made by the friendliest staff this morning! Good service/product is a rare commodity these days-Ghost Town is doing it right! Also appreciate in-house baked goods. The banana bread was perfect!
Excellent coffee and great bakery goods. Those breads though, I highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.
The first time I went in the coffee and staff was wonderful; I enjoyed the coffee and experience. The reason I gave 3 stars was because of my second experience with different staff, based on my first experience I told my brother how great it was so went and checked it out. We both ordered a Mexican mocha which was complete trash they didnt even mix his up. So he was drink 4 quad shots without flavor. I paid for the drinks and without asking she tipped herself which I am a generous tipper and would probably have given more then what she tipped herself.
Excellent local coffee roaster and shop. Highly recommended
Very friendly, and great atmosphere, very helpful with finding the correct way to brew your coffee for you. I strongly reccomend going to them for your roasting needs since sadly we dont have one in Butte. The drive was worth it.
Beautiful place! Our chai lattes were very interesting and flavorful + gluten-free ginger cookie was awesome.
Aaron, Espresso Machine Repair Guru, went above and beyond to repair my La Pavoni home espresso machine. I had an odd problem and he reached out to multiple specialists to repair my machine. Also I highly recommend Ghost Town as a great place to meet clients out of the office, their coffee and atmosphere always impress!
Their espresso is some of the best Ive had in years. You dont really need to smooth it out with cream or foam or any other ingredients. They did a great job with the roasting. If you are in a hurry or would prefer not to order at the counter, you can order ahead online. They had our order ready right on time, and the drinks were nice and hot.
Power coffee was absolutely wonderful.
Tasty coffee and breakfast burritos! Their lattes are on a different level!
Great donuts.
THE Best coffee in Montana.
I really do like stopping in here for an iced latte about once weekly until today. They have awesome coffee but the last thing I want at the end of the day is to be lectured on plastic straws. I was informed by a twenty something barista (after I requested a straw) that they would be phasing them out and the cups were designed to be used without straws. She was fairly condescending and rude in her tone. SO Ill be suggesting that they turn off their heat and stop driving their cars so we can all feel better about the fairness of the straw policy. Get a grip people and only lecture your faithful customers when you adhere to the standards your asking the rest of us to honor.
I always love to check out local roasters for quality pour-over coffee while traveling. I am confused why Ghost Town didn’t highlight their wide selection of single origin coffee with the ability to try them out. They only had one coffee on pour over yet at least 8 or so coffees to buy bagged. Another big question mark for me was why only some of the bags of beans had roast dates on them!? Yes weird things for some but as a coffee geek they are red flags coming from a what seems like a well established roastery. Otherwise the cafe is a great space and the staff was very friendly.
This is a cute little place with great service and even better coffee. Also, their hot chocolate is off the charts good. They have tables and couches to work or chat with friends and it is a nice down to earth atmosphere. They have their coffee mills going like a factory process so you can see everything being made but it is not loud which was very surprising to me! Cute little place with very good drinks.
Fantastic coffee, service, and atmosphere. The nitro brew is my usual and the staff take the time to remember you.Overall I refer people to come here over the other coffee shops.
Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate it. For the record, its not just about the straw its about the tone and attitude. I just want a cup of coffee not a lecture. It sounds like were on the same page.I look forward to visiting again soon!
Amazing coffee and friendly staff!! :)
A little disappointed that “Ghost town” wasn’t a literal description of this coffee shop. I was definitely expecting more of the supernatural, but the great coffee made up for the lack of literal ghouls. If you’re ever sitting outside enjoying the weather on a roasting day, you might experience an “it’s raining coffee ash” type of day. Don’t worry, it’s exhilarating. Best bean juice this side of the Mississipp.
Ghost Town Coffee Roasters provide fantastic roasted blends at great prices. Their customer service is outstanding. YES, I recommend this roaster if you want great coffee. Love the Clean and 1889!!
Hands down the best coffee in town. Find it at this shop. Find it at your favorite grocery store. Find it at a coffee house that serves it. But find it. They have maybe 10 + roasts all the time. The descriptions on their bags are spot-on in capturing the essence of each roast. Get some. You won’t be disappointed!
Ghost Town is my most FAVORITE coffee ever! I cannot start a day or make through a day without my Velvet Hammer. Drink Ghost Town Coffee it the best!!
Amazing coffee and top notch service! I even learned a new pirate joke!
Coffee was filled too high. Otherwise terrific!
Cool place. really friendly staff, interesting interior, and the tea is served at a drinkable temperature. music was depressing af, though.
The coffee here is delish! The cafe is beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful! I highly recommend!
Such a great spot! I love their Nitro cold brew and the veggie burritos are all time!
Great coffee, cool location. You can literally watch them roast the beans.
Spent a few days in Bozeman towards the beginning of a 2 month van trip. While there are many great coffee shops in Bozeman, this was my favorite. If I lived in town this would be my go to shop. Ended up going here 2 or 3 days and every time was great. Highly recommend.
Awesome coffee. Opinion from an all day coffee drinking
Wonderful space and even better coffee and customer service. Perfect for meetings or a quick fill up, and dont forget your yummy breakfast burrito for more sustainable fuel. A fantastic addition to that end of town- especially once Story Mill Community Park is constructed. Thanks Ghost Town for your vision, community support and stellar service.
Good coffee, great donut, nice space, friendly service.Came with a few friends on our way out to the mountains to go hiking, and stopped by for some coffee.Knowledgeable and friendly staff - and service was fast. Great benches and chairs to sit on. And solid wifi too. Place wasnt too crowded or loud. Great for a conversation with friends.
Coffee and pastries were excellent. Set-up is nice. You do need a drive-through for all the ski traffic. Counter is also nice when a single needs just one space. Good luck on this venture.
Coffee is freakin outstanding. Probably my favorite coffee roaster right now. Only just started ordering from them....but it will NOT be my last.Whole Bean - CLEAN (One of their Signature Blends). I honestly would not change a single thing about this one. Its literally perfect......Over Two years later and not a day has gone by that Ive not had Ghost Town in my house.
Ghost Town was previously only a coffee roaster and retail-side service business (espresso machine installs/service, coffee flavorings, etc.). Now they have a new location and an actual coffee shop. It’s fantastic to finally be able to get their house roasted coffee served by properly trained staff in a great atmosphere. I love riding my bike over here when the weather/seasons permit to have an espresso and a baked item. In the winter they are on the way to and from Bridger Bowl. The location really is perfect year round.
Trendy coffee shop with simple yet quality offerings. They serve all the more refined brewing methods as well as drip. Food choices have grown since they opened, and now include a breakfast burrito special for those heading up to Bridger. Beans are also available for purchase here.
We buy their coffee direct from them at our office and leave it up to them to provide us with roasters choice. We love the variety of coffees they provide and often end up with small, limited edition roasts that provide a unique treat to our office. They care about the craft of coffee and I appreciate that.
Great coffee shop.
Fantastic coffee and great staff. We stopped in to grab some beans and a coffee on our way through town, and every single employee was friendly and engaging. They even helped us find where to buy their beans where we live! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Amazing latte and breakfast burrito, reasonable prices, good service, friendly staff. I also left my hydroflask there before I left town and they shipped it to me. Not all heros wear capes, and these folks are what every member of society should strive to be. Did i mention the latte was delicious. Thanks Corey!
Great coffee, and vegan scones. The vegan scone was so good, like really damn good, smack yo momma good, made my day.
Super friendly staff with great service and even better coffee. Highly recommend this place.
For being a brand new location, they have been great so far. They are the only coffee shop in that part of town. Friendly staff and great coffee.
Amazing gluten-free mixed berry scones and iced chai! I believe the scone had blueberries, raspberries and huckleberries, along with shredded coconut and a granular sugar topping. The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is because I originally wanted to order a breakfast burrito gluten-free but theyre pre- made so that couldnt happen. The atmosphere is chill. The space has an industrial rustic design to it with local art hanging on the wall. There are small two-person tables, long community style tables, a raised bar and couches to sit at. Besides the main entrance to the coffee shop, there is a whole- sale entrance, and a space in the back called The Lab where they prepare coffees and such. They offer indoor or outdoor seating and free wi-fi with a password. There are also 3 unisex public bathrooms.
This is probably my favorite coffee place in town. One of the few that offer coconut milk as a dairy alternative, their espresso is great, and great service. As a former barista and longtime local, this is the place to go!
What a refreshingly enjoyable place! The food is as good as the coffee and I love all the bikes. Ive been drinking Ghost Town coffee for years and Im glad to visit it now as well - Im an instant regular!!
$5.00 for a tiny cold brew that’s not even “cold” 6.50 for a trash already prepared breakfast burrito. I asked for salsa to be put inside would not have ordered it if I know it’s just sitting under a heat lamp. Don’t understand these other reviews. Would not return a gas station breakfast burrito tastes better.UPDATE: They steam their trash burritos. 16oz is not large by anyone’s standard. Your nitro coffee is schwag.
Their well trained staff, unique atmosphere and delicious drinks makes for a cant miss coffee experience!
Veggie burritos 🌯 are amazeballs! Love the sweet potatos in them. The muffins are delicious as well. The counter help is super friendly and outgoing, especially one girl name Sophie. Overall, a great place 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Great coffee and ambiance! Perfect stop for coffee or lunch on our road trip! Everyone is friendly and caring.
I havent been to enough of Bozemans coffee places to say this is the best in Bozeman but it is good enough that it has become my go to for coffee in Bozeman. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, consistently excellent coffee, good pastry and food options. Highly recommend it.
THE place to go to for coffee in Bozeman, my son and I went here almost everyday during our latest snowboard trip. The Americano was our favorite. I plan on buying some online when I get back home.
Excellent coffee. Had the Burundi pour over and would highly recommend.
The perfect place to stop before or after a hike or skiing. Fantastic, fresh roasted coffee, great staff and good place to buy unique Bozeman souvenirs/swag for gifts or if youre visiting.
Love their roasts! Its always been good when weve gone
A beautiful cup of coffe that tasted as good as it looked. I cannot wait to try my Costa Rica beans later today.
I will say that Ghost Town Coffee easily one of the best in town. However, I found the employees to be terribly lacking in customer service. At MSU, we carry the coffee by the bag for sale since this semester. I was lucky enough to be one of the culinary employees to cast my vote on what coffee to serve/sell on campus. I choose Ghost Town in the blind test, as such I decided to give them a chance and go to the store despite it being across town from me.However, from the moment I was asked if I was a local and said I had just moved here a year ago the employees turned cold as ice. I tried some small talk to mentioned how the coffee was great and I was looking into which coffee blend to buy regularly, but the blond barista had gave up on small talk or any suggestions. After getting a latte, she kept giving dirty looks to my wife and I for looking around the store. When we did sit for a minute, my wife suggested that we move away from the open door due to the cold breeze (she has some circulation problems) which we just moved to the other side of the store.Immediately after sitting the blonde barista opened the other door next to us half-way for no apparent reason at all. So after finishing the latte we went to leave and I tried to catch her eye as we left, as she turned and saw us I said Thank you, to which her reply was to say nothing, avoid eye contact, turn around, and stare at the far wall with her back to my wife and I.The whole experience was very off-putting. It felt like the whole time I had been judged an outsider and therefore didnt deserve common curiosity. While there coffee is good, this is Bozeman and there are other good coffee shops that, whom dont have a chip on their shoulder and try to make their customers feel unwelcome.
Awesome coffee shop with friendly and knowledgeable baristas! Check this one out for sure!
Great local roasters! Nice hangout and friendly baristas as well.
Great place. Service good and coffee hot.
Best dirty chai in Montana! Super friendly staff and a nice space.
The coffee is amazing, service is great, and the cafe atmosphere is cozy and cool. Best coffee shop in Bozeman!
First time there and staff was friendly and interactive. Coffee excellent (El Salvador) and treats great.
This is my favorite coffee brand in Bozeman. I love their single origin coffee and the stories they tell on the bags.
I used to like coffee, thanks to GhostTown Coffee Roasters I love love love my morning cup .
Great place to get work done, not crowded, friendly staff, and good coffee.
Love their coffee! Great people.
Fantastic! Best coffee in Montana! Great service !
Pretty plane jane coffee to be honest, not the worst.
Great location on the way to playing up in the canyon.
Whoever drives for your company needs to work on their driving. I dont think you want a driver who needs to retake their drivers test
Great supplier of coffee products for home brewers.
Excellent coffee. Great ambience.
Chai tea latte with Coconut milk and NO SUGAR is to die for
While the atmosphere isnt the type for long study sessions, the coffee is wonderful! And based on its target audience (ski bums headed for Bridger), they are poised to succeed!
Amazing coffee with an even better staff.
The clean coffee is bomb! Favorite coffee of all time!
Great coffee and locally roasted!
...Great, roasting by Corry.
Good coffee
Ghost Town. Look no further.
Best coffee ever!!!!!
Coffee is dope
