A great place to buy some real Vermont aged cheddar cheese (among other varieties). The farm has animals that kids can pet and feed. There are also a number of hiking trails, a forest playground for kids, a stream, beautiful views, picnic tables, and a small pay what you can farm stand with fresh produce, eggs, and meat. The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. Its a great place to take a pitstop if youre passing by or even to go out of your way to visit.

Our touring bus was running late on 9/21/21 but the gracious and kind employees of the Grafton Village Cheese Company stayed open for us beyond closing time so that we would not be disappointed upon our arrival. Fifty-two of us exited the bus and had a great time shopping in their wonderful store. Thank you to the kind and cheerful employees of this business. The experience we had there was well worth the trip.

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us a great set of samples and explained a lot about each one. Everything was delicious, and we had so much fun! We live quite far away, but were already figuring out a weekend trip to give us an excuse to come back!

Good but expensive. Not a problem for tourists like us. Grafton cheese was really expensive but I expect they dont want to undercut other retailers that carry their products. Fresh cheese was also expensive but a few 1/4 lbs. will be nice. Ultimately, nothing you could not get at an upscale grocery... if you are willing to drive to get to one :-).

Impressive find in such an area. I chanced on this place from a quick search for a Cheese shop in Vermont. They had a wonderful service with a respectful amount of cheeses from the region, and some cheeses from other localities. A must stop for cheese-lovers or for a quick bite.

If you are a fan of cheese (and who isnt) I cannot emphasize enough how much you need to visit this place. Besides having more cheeses than you can shake a cow (or goat) at, they have a huge variety of smoked and cured meats, hot sauces, jams, jellies, honey, and other assorted spreads. And although I didnt try them myself, their wide selection of chocolates and desserts looked amazing. The best part is that you can sample just about anything you see in there (except the wines, of course). The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and Arthur helped us select 5 different, delicious cheeses before we departed. We will definitely be back again, and again, and again.

Favorite place to visit and gift shop for some yummy treats. Friendly staff and an amazing selection of cheeses and sampling of many varieties. A bit pricey for amount. The storefront is always immaculate. Be sure to see the covered bridge nearby.

I love bringing out of town family and friends here, especially on week days when you can watch the cheese being made on site. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Samples of everything are abundant but if you would like to try something that isnt just ask.🤤 This is a great place for anyone,of any age. The cuttingboards, cheese knives, wine and other cheese friends are also available and adorably presented. 🍁🧀🍾🧀🍁

I love cheese. They have free samples, therefor I get to eat cheese, which automatically gets them to five stars. Ive been here a few times, and I love the set up. You walk in to the store where all the samples and products are held, but then if you walk up the back stairs, you get to watch the magic happen. Various stages of cheesy goodness being made right before your eyes. Whey to the left, curds to the right, and nothing but and endless supply of jokes about who cut the cheese. They also have chocolates for sale too, but no free samples. They sell by the pound. It looks like they may have a tour set up as well, but we didnt get in to that. As a local boy who now lives far far away, this was a great experience to come home to and take my children to.

Its definitely worth a stop!We were on our way to new Hampshire, and this cheese shop made our way more fun, and exciting...Stopped by late afternoon on a Saturday, and was blown away by the amount of cheese I can try, I felt like a mouse running around trying all their cheeses... and to soften the blow they had all this local jams and spreads to try too, Some of them were exceptionally good, if I wasnt on the road I would of definitely bought some.The staff were very helpful helping me choose what to get from there quality selection of cheeses, Ill definitely be back for more...

Great place to try and buy cheese. You can peak in to see how cheese is made. Lookout for the aged cheddar 5 years and older. Gets busy at peak times but very quiet off-season. Food trucks are yummy too.

One of my favorite places to go when on my way to/fro visiting my family in Vermont. You can try so many cheeses; their house cheeses and cheeses from other Vermont farmers and farmers world-wide. The staff if friendly and extremely helpful. The cheese selection is overwhelming. Always end up with new cheeses to bring home. Delightful selection of Vermont made artisanal products. Chocolates were amazing I reccomend the sea salt caramels. Cheese was pretty good. I had a great time.

The cheese is delicious and all the varieties are available for tasting. They have a great selection, including many of their cheeses you dont usually see in supermarkets, and a really nice store. Make a stop there, you wont regret it.

Dont buy their raw cheeses if youre trying to find real raw cheese. They market it as raw cheese, but it has actually been flash pasteurized at 156° Fahrenheit.
