Ever since I was little I wanted a bed with a trundle pull out bed for guest. I found the perfect one for my grandchildren at The Bedworks. The frame was of beautiful real wood, the mattresses will last for many years and the guys that delivered AND set up the bed were professional and never left a mess or marks on my walls or floors. I will buy again from The Bedworks.

We did not feel pressure to commit to anything we werent 100% satisfied with at any point! We spoke with Robin who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She was very good at suggesting mattresses that would be a fit for BOTH my husband and myself. Never felt like they were pushing the expensive ones. Delivery was equally as impressive! Was given a 3 hour window to expect delivery and thought that was it. I was gonna be watching for them all day. Nope! They called to let me know when they were half way out. Guys were friendly, clean, and professional. Got our new mattress in, no muss, no fuss. Answered my questions. In and out 10 min. LOVED our experience. When we find ourselves I the market for our next piece of new furniture, Im not going anywhere else!!!

I smile every time I get ready for bed. Everyone from the sales staff to the delivery guys were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Best decision I made, the mattress and the frame are perfect, the rolling drawers under the bed offer ample storage and are well built. I would choose a small business like BedWorks over the big box stores for these very reasons. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend BedWorks to anyone looking for a new bed and bedroom furniture.

I called her back the next day and placed our order.The fact that the furniture is made locally in Bangor, USA was a very important factor in my decision, and that is very well made furniture.I would highly recommend going there to look for your bedroom furniture needs.

I went to Bedworks yesterday to shop for twin-sized beds for toddlers transitioning to big kids beds, and was helped by Stephanie and Janet. Like other reviewers, this has been the most pleasurable furniture shopping experience ever. There was no pressure to buy- just good information regarding the differences in design, affordability and features . We ended up going with the Danforth bed- simple yet timeless design that we can imagine will be appreciated for many years as the big kids grow up. Considering the hardwood construction and lifetime warranty, we consider the $429 pricing a solid deal. The free delivery and assembly in 2-3 weeks was a great bonus, and I expect that that part of the purchase will be just as efficient and professional as the rest. Way to go, Bedworks team! If I ever end up trading in my grown-up bed, youll be the first place I go.

The quality of the bed is excellent.We lost/broke one of the support pieces about a year after our purchase. We got in touch with Bedworks and they helped us to get the replacement part. A year ago I bought a bed and mattress for a camp that we own. It was so comfortable that I wanted to buy a second one for a retirement home we are building. I had a flawless experience with The Bedworks of Maine. After placing my order I changed my mind on the woodwork stain, and they accommodated me at no additional charge. They also remembered to confirm my address (I was relocating across country), communicated extensively about delivery and when my order did arrive it was not damaged due to expert packaging. The platform bedframe I ordered is beautifully made and sturdy. Instructions for assembly were easy to read and the finished product is exactly as advertised on their website. I highly recommend this company.

I came to Bedworks of Maine on Friday May 27th in the early afternoon to find replacement hardware for my brothers futon that we had purchased AGES ago and he has since lost the hardware. I went to a different furniture store beforehand, where I thought we had purchased his futon (and my own) to find the hardware. The lovely gentleman there recommended I go to Bedworks!I thank the man and head out to Bedworks. When I walk inside I see the EXACT SAME futons my brother and I own (though I just thought they were similar at the time) and asked the woman who approached me about getting new hardware, even mentioning the futons on display. She INSISTED that their futons were made there and everything was custom and that her hardware wouldnt POSSIBLY fit our futons and acted very snooty and rude to me. She said Your futons may be similar but ours are custom and so the hardware will NOT fit yours.After begging to at least TRY the hardware she gave me two clevis pins (and nothing else even though I needed ALL of the hardware and I was willing to pay for it all) for free to try but, again, insisted that they would not work but I could try anyway.I tried them. They are an EXACT match. I then got the clips for the clevis pins and the screws for the frame (using my screws for reference) at Lowes. I had previously gone to Lowes to find replacement clevis pins for my personal futon but the holes do not match up for the clips to hold them in place.In all, I love our futons, which as it turns out were purchased from Bedworks of Maine 10+ years ago, but because of the utter disrespect and rudeness I encountered when just looking for help I will no longer purchase ANYTHING else from them. When it comes time to replace other hardware, the mattress, or the futon in general I will go someplace else and will never recommend Bedworks of Maine because of the intense rudeness I encountered there.

Was able to find the perfect matttess at the right price! I told then my budget and tried some mattresses and soon after left with a new mattress! Would recommend this place to anyone, especially someone trying to find a good mattress without spending an arm and a leg

Recently took delivery of my new mattress and adjustible bed. The bed iswonderful, everything I had been told. Best sleep Ive had in a long time. Staff at the store were polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. I received a call confirming delivery a day before and a call immediately before delivery to let me know they were on the way.Delivery guys were great. Very polite and helpful in showing me how to operate bed.All in all an excellent experience. Thank you, Bedworks.

My Wife and I bought a Bedworks of Maine Sedgweck from a dealer in N.H. this was about 5 years ago back then they had one little pole in the middle of the frame very CHEAP it broke within the first year now it is held up with milk crates from Home Depot what a waste of money!!
