Went in looking for help with fertilizing my hops. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They took the time and talked me through the different options available to me. After a discussion a couple different methods, we came to what would be the best solution for what I have. Prices were also very reasonable for a small business. I would highly recommend the Urban Garden Center for anyone growing anything!

Urban Garden Center is one of the best stores in the Brewer area. I came in to get consultation on certain products, Don and other staff memeber enthusiastically take the time out to recommend products to me even though I didnt end up buying because it wasnt the right product for me. I definitely appreciate the time and knowledge they have invested in a new customer.The above experience from UGC has earned my business from the start because they especially Don went out of his way to help me out. I needed a special order because they dont carry that in store. Overall, Im just another satisfied customer over here!!! Would definitely and have already recommended others to come here!!!

The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable about fertilizer. He was very serious and didnt smile much, but sometimes I think Im being funny. Not everyone gets my humor.

Amazing people great products love that these guys are more than happy to help out with anything for your gardening needs and your experience level happy to help is hard to find these days but if you like that definitely go see these guys

Ive been giving this place business for years, theres one guy that has worked there for a while who is pretty nice, and it was only because of him that I kept coming back. The prices are high, and they are always sold out of stuff. I recently bought a few bales of Coco coir, and one was clearly a lot different than the others. It was a lot harder to separate and had this resin-like sheen to the outside. I went in to buy more coir and exchange this nasty bale in the process, but they wouldnt allow me to exchange it! They acted like I didnt know what I was talking about. These guys dont stand behind their products and its just not worth it anymore.
