Taking their course offered for charter captains. Had to stop in for materials I didnt have. Everyone was quite friendly and helpful. Capt Ken was very helpful.

The owner Ken (my next door neighbor) is rude condescending and acts like your a bothersome all 3 times I came in to make purchases. Never again and I will spread the word to spare others from an unpleasant experience and a wast of time. Spend your money with a business that appreciates you as a customer. 3 strikes your out Kenneth!! Got a problem with my review come knock on my door!!

I was in the area on vacation last week and stopped in just to check on availability of some minnows. First time I went here. The woman behind the counter barely acknowledged I was standing there in the store and when I asked about the bait, omg the dirty look I got! Youd have thought I blamed her for 9/11 or something. Then she barks we dont have any like I was a child that had asked her 10 times already and she was just fed up. Very uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. Definitely wont be going back there anytime Im in town and will be actively steering others away too. All because of that attitude. Politeness and simple courtesies go a long way yall.

Ken is a very knowledgeable man. They have a great supply of boating and fishing supplies. Support your local businesses. Walmart for toilet paper...R&D for boats.

Nothing great to say. Horrible experience on every level. Expensive ropes are dry rotted, not sure what the mechanic is doing but he took all summer to do what he said would take 2 weeks.(still didnt get it right) People skills are terrible and they have a lame excuse for it all. We all make mistakes and mine was dealing with these people.

I do NOT recommend RD Boat. Ken Daniels is a joke. Everything is over price, and Ken is quite a rude man. I always try to support local business but go to Walmart instead. The staff at Walmart will be much more helpful and friendly.

Dont buy the wrong antifreeze. This store is over 2 hours away from my house. I tried to return 10 unopened bottles, with the receipt, and was denied.

The staff needs to work on their customer service skills. When entering the older woman and man did not greet upon entering and when I approached them they barely gave eye contact. They both were too busy eating and was in no rush to ring up my items. On top of that, some of the minnows that I purchased died before I got to my location, even with an aerator attached. Needless to say I WONT be spending my money at this store again!!

Not Friendly, not willing to help a new customer, grumpy and out dated. in store stock is more then most during covid but the staff is to worried about doing nothing rather then selling anything. The staff had about as much personality as a slug. I will never give this place my business ever again. This business is stuck in the 80s and it shows. the willingness to change with the times and embrace new customers is NON EXISTENT HERE.they claim to be a big name in the boating world. believe me as a team member of a high end yacht company, A long time charter and private Captain this place is literately stuck in a distant time, full of googans that know nothing of customer service to anyone other than a crabber.

The guy working there needs to work on his people skills. Not friendly and when I asked about live bait he charged $12.50 for a dozen bloodworms. Won’t be back.

Amazing this place is still in business- locals know to avoid. Owner was angry to have to look up a price because he is extremely slow. He in turn became belligerent and insulting.
