I went in for an Amazon Trade-in, just to turn in my phone. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and friendly with excellent customer service. It was his first time, so he went back to get some assistance. The person who came out from the back was also very friendly, acknowledge the customer with a friendly greeting. Great place, and definitely better than the Needham location.

I never heard of this store but was brought in to this location since my warranty with Google for my cracked screen redirected me here as the closest option. As soon as I walked in, Prince greeted us and said hell be right with us. Though I was told they were short-staffed for the day, I was surprised that my phone would be fixed by 4pm when I just walked in at 1:30pm. Staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about their products. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the great service!

These guys were great! I came in around 5:15 on a Thursday, the front desk associate quoted me 5:55 for a turnaround time for a screen repair, I think they had me walking out the door by 5:30. Both he and the technician were super friendly and professional, and the whole transaction was seamless. Highly recommended.

I went to this place and it was given to me by my insurance coverage from AT&t I had a cracked screen at the bottom and it looked like it was a good crack so they told me bring it as a walk-in a setup the appointment to get the screen fixed I didnt really have to pay because I had insurance and insurance is phone coverage from AT&t I met the store manager all the staff was professional and nice and I will always go to this place its real easy so dont be afraid if you have cell phone trouble or needs to be fixed give them a call theyre really good

Had the screen on my phone replaced, the work was done quickly and the new screen is awesome. Customer service was friendly and efficient. They do try to sell warrantees or some kind of coverage, which did not interest me and I just said no.Highly, highly recommend making an appointment online and definitely leave some extra time (15 minutes or so) to stand in line, as of 9/24/21 they are swamped.

So Ive gotten my phone repaired better before and things worked out. However I was very disappointed when I needed to get out fixed again.I made an appointment online and showed up at the appropriate time. When I arrived there was a hand written note explaining that they were gone between 9/7 and 9/10. This was not reflected on the website.From there I called the number listed for the store. This number will not reach the store, but instead goes to the ibreakufix customer service. They explained that they were unaware that the store was closed and apologized for my trouble.I made a second appointment on the website for a Monday and the same thing happened.BOTTOM LINE: do not assume that anyone will actually be at this storefront if you made an appointment. They are clearly responsible for a lot of miscommunications and unprofessional customer service.I hope you are luckier than I was!

Poorly trained staff; where is the corporate responsibility?During the height of the covid pandemic, I spotted a rude customer in the Cambridge store with his mask down(the whole time he was in the store)!! The employees at the store(saw 2 in total), did not even ask him to wear the mask, which he had tucked under his chin!!!I asked this guy once to pull up his mask, but he did not even want to respond to me, I waited outside the store, but then decided to take my business elsewhere.

Called the store number, but got a central operator. Was quoted $200-$300 to repair my galaxy s10+ screen.... price depending on whether it was more work than just a screen repair (she mentioned something about soldering). Rep checked that my part was in stock, and put it on reserve when I made an appointment to get my phone fixed.I go to the store for my appointment. (1) was told repair would be $297. that there was no range of the price. (2) Dude in the store couldnt find the part allegedly put on hold for me, and couldnt find any in stock either.So after 2 hours of call, waiting and travel, I still have a cracked screen. Only $50 more to buy a new unlocked phone online, so thats what im going to do.Only redeeming thing was the dude in the store was friendly. I felt badly for him because he was pretty harried with customers queuing up being me, and he was all alone.

WORST BAIT AND SWITCH. I went to this chain on Samsungs recommendation to replace an old cell battery which was losing power too quickly over the course of the day. I am giving it a few stars because the staff was very helpful over the phone, checking that they had the battery in stock so I didnt waste a trip, and were clearly very competent. Yet I did waste the trip. When I got there they informed me they were not allowed by Samsung to give me the phone back until they had made other changes, like replacing the screen which had a hairline crack I could barely see, and could not see at all with the screen protector on. My explanation that I was only going to be using the phone a few more months got me nothing and I had to leave without a new battery. When I asked why I had not been informed of this policy over the phone, the tech started to stammer. Clearly he did not want to say it would have interfered with the BAIT portion of this chains operation.

They advertise on their website that they fix broken ear speakers, and I was directed by google support to have them fix my ear speaker. After setting up an appointment and spending all day travelling to this store I was told they cannot fix my ear speaker without breaking the phone further. This company has false advertising on their website, and false advertising through google support advising that they fix ear speakers. BEWARE: THEY CANNOT FIX YOUR EAR SPEAKER. Get your phone repaired somewhere else.

I made an appointment a week in advance, specifying what was wrong with my phone. When I came in for the appointment I had scheduled, they said they didnt have the parts they needed, but would order them and call me when they arrived, at most day or two later. Four days later, no call; I call them, they say they have the parts, sorry they never called, and that I can just come in to get it fixed, I dont need an appointment. I come in after work, an hour before closing, they tell me they cant fix it because there wont be time. Its been two weeks since I made my first appointment, Ive made two completely pointless trips to Harvard Square, and my phone is no closer to getting fixed. Dont waste your time! Go somewhere else.

Brought my phone here to get my screen fixed because Assurian told me this is where I could bring it. Not only did they not fix my screen, they put my iphone into recovery mode and erased EVERYTHING. I couldnt even work the phone until I got home and restored it from my computer. So not only did you not fix the problem you were paid to fix, you caused me a whole other issue. I lost my data and couldnt use my GPS to get home or make any calls. Do NOT go here unless you want your phone erased.

An amazing experience. My phone was ran over multiple times - I thought it had no chance. I came in and they were missing a part, but to accomodate me they ordered it with overnight shipping at no cost to me! They repaired it immediately upon the part arrival the next day and it looks like new. Jose, Alec, the entire team took multiple calls from me and were all incredibly professional and engaged. Came to drop off my phone and my insurance claim wasnt in their computer (not their fault because my payment had an error) but this place waited until I was off the phone and after 2 calls and 20 minutes with the insurance people to tell me they were overbooked and probably couldnt get to my phone today when I had made an appointment and they shouldve called me the day before or the morning of to tell me before I came there. Then when I picked it up 7 hours later they had damaged the SIM card and it was too late for me to get to an AT&T store. So not going back here.

Went in once for a 3 hour appointment to fix my phone speaker under the Samsung factory warranty. It was the nearest location to do in person since sending my phone out isnt an option. After an hour and a half drive, they mentioned it was in fact a blown speaker (no kidding). No parts on hand, so I made another appointment which. The gentleman was a different dude than the last time, but this time the part was in like the previous guy promised. At the end of the day, my speaker got replaced after waiting 3 hrs however its still blown. The technician blamed it on the pins on my motherboard, but now Im stuck with a phone still under warranty that cant be fixed unless I send it in. Big waste of about 10 hrs between driving and waiting.

Since I got a response and I failed to describe my rating I felt compelled to add and description. The store is located invisible on Massachusetts avenue. There is no free parking. Effect parking is quite difficult.When I came in with my phone to change the display I was told that it would take about an hour and a half to 2 hours. I asked that Id be called half an hour before the job was done. I also bought a display solution covering. I was given a price that was lower because I brought the phone in to change display.2 hours past and I was never called. But I went over there and had to wait a little longer. Another gentleman charged me more for The display gel. I told him the price that I was quoted. He said it was impossible. He went to a person whose name I believe is Dave. And Dave lied and said he never promised anything. I dont like liars. But to gentleman agreed to the price I was quoted. There was no apology for failing to call me and for lying to me.The job was well done but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Since you forced me to tell you about my experience, I did. And thinking about what I wrote, I dont like liars. I dont like people break their promises. To that end I am lowering my rating by one star.

Im very frustrated and disappointed with uBreakiFix. The staff is unfortunately very poorly trained. I spent an entire hour in there for something that Asurion described as very easy: just dropping a phone. They couldnt take it even though I had all the information ready for them. Additionally, one of the staff members often removed her mask to speak. Overall - a terrible experience. I will not purchase anything anymore with Asurion insurance, given the incredibly poor service that they offer.

Very polite on the phone and I even managed to get a same day appointment. I had utterly smashed the corner of my screen (chunks were missing) but they replaced it in the estimated 60-90 minutes and it works fabulously.He quoted me the price of 119 hesitantly but thats pretty much what I expected. The Pixel is a great phone and its no different, to me, than taking my VW to the dealership. It was worth it and if I ever need anything else, I will likely go back.Side note: very cautious regarding all COVID guidelines which I really appreciated.

I had a broken screen, I was refered by best buy geek squad, to bring it there .they were professionals, they fixed it. The phone was overheating from some app issue, motherboard problem. But when I picked it up from being repaired, it had a new screen but had same issues. A worker named Jose treated me like I prayed for. He was so knowledgeable and patient he helped me retrieve my photos, answered all my questions and additionally showed me other things. It was just a great experience. I will always recommend u break it we fix it. The prices were very reasonable. Everything you need they know or have. .Great business im very happy customer.

Absolutely the worst place to go to. I drove all the way to one location after making a reservation online 2 days prior just to have them tell me that they didnt have the parts available. They didnt call me or anything to let me know prior to me coming in. They told me they could make an appointment for me at a different location that did have the parts in stock. I agreed and even called this new location to confirm they had the parts so I wasnt wasting my time again. When I got to the new location they told me they didnt have an appointment scheduled for me in the system from the other location, and that they didnt have the parts after confirming with me over the phone that they did. Biggest waste of time with incompetent workers. I will never recommend or visit again.

I dropped my phone off on Wednesday for a Google warranty covered repair. It took until Monday afternoon to get it back. uBreakiFix never reached out to me, I only got updates if I called. Each day I called I got another excuse about why the repair hadnt been started and a promise to start it right away so I could pick the phone up that night or the next morning. Then complete silence from uBreakiFix until I called again, only to be told my repair still hadnt been started! After days of this exact same story and being lied to I finally get my phone back, and it doesnt actually work. I brought it in for a defective motherboard covered by warranty and it comes back with the face unlock not working. All around awful service, awful quality of work. If I could give you 0 stars I would.

Quick, convenient, competent, reasonably priced, and courteous.However, a recent repair wasnt properly tested before they gave the phone back to me, so I had to take it back. They were very professional about this, but they really should have a test checklist, ensuring that a phones basic functions are working correctly before they return it to the customer.I went back for a new battery. Fast and efficient. $80 seems expensive, but thats apparently the going price.

My initial experience was so-so. I made appt on web site and got an email that I was all set. Showing up at the store, the person there asked if I got a phone call and I said I did not. Apparently getting an email was not enough and I did not have a record or an appt. He still took my phone and got it. I waited a week with no contact and you cant get through on the phone. I left multiple messages with no one returning the call. I called the next day and after 2 tries a live person picked up and at that point was told the phone was fixed but I had to go in for the diag and do the factory reset. I totally understand but why no call back after a week?The rest was fine and when I did the reset, they ran diagnostic and I got the phone back and the issue was resolved. The woman in the Saturday was great. We walked around while diag was being done and she promptly called me when the phone was ready.There is definitely room for improvement in the customer service side, but the fix was done well so I am satisfied with the results.

So brought my google pixel 4 to be fixed back was shattered front screen had damage. Took them 2 days longer than the quoted 3 hour time frame they gave. When I got it back it was in Spanish. Cant read or speak Spanish so went back in and had them fix it. When I got home and restored my information I was greeted with no sim card. Its in there BUT somehow they messed it up. Im now at T mobile, closer than sprint, to have them unlock my sim because sprint technicians couldnt do anything over the phone. I have never been more disappointed with the quality of work and while I LOVE the Google phones I will NEVER get one again as ubreakifix is the only place that can fix them and their work is questionably shoddy at best and super shady as well.

I was mildly disappointed in my experience here. My Samsung Galaxy s8 had a rapidly expanding battery, which made the back of the phone (which was glued) pop up and therefore unable to fit in its case. Since no Best Buy in the area would fix it, I went to this location, and they told me they had to order a battery -- cool, no big deal. The staff were friendly and cooperative and told me it would arrive in about a week because of ground shipping. I came back a week later when they called to tell me they had it, and I waited for three hours (my estimated wait time was 1.5) only for them to come out and tell me the battery they ordered was defective; they had already taken the back of the phone off, so I asked them to put it back on, which made the condition worse since it was once-removed. They were apologetic about it, and I was upset like anyone would be, but it wasnt their fault -- it happens. They said they would overnight a new battery and it would be here in a couple days -- great. Four days pass, and I call asking about it, and they tell me it was expedited shipping but hadnt gotten there yet. I have to leave town next week, so Im like, you told me it was expedited, but okay. Eight days later, it finally arrives, but they didnt call me about it like they said they would -- I had to call them to find out it was in stock. While they held the first battery for me until I could get there, the second one was first come first serve, which bothers me. So I get there, and they say itll be 45 minutes -- Im like, Fantastic. Two and a half hours pass and they finally get my phone out to me, fixed and beautiful and the back glued on. Im extremely happy to have my phone fixed, but the process it took to make it happen was ridiculous. Overall, the staff are very friendly and helpful, but I wish they could be more realistic about their wait times and honest about the shipping procedure.

The first time they broke the touchscreen. Then in fixing that they broke the fingerprint scanner. Then in fixing that they broke the speaker. Theyve fixed the additional problems at no charge, which is the least they can do, but two of those times they told me to come in over the phone, but didnt set up an appointment for me, so Ive had to either come back in later or be without my phone for several days. I am so sick of having to go back to this place multiple times a week for the past three weeks due to their mistakes!

The camera on my phone stopped focusing and I tried everything to no avail. It was under the manufacturers one-year warrantee. uBreakiFix fixed it right away, and after doing an additional check up, was able to also replace the screen at no cost to me. My phone has been working fine ever since. I found this company to be very efficient, professional and knowledgeable.

Showed up at 6:40PM with a totally non-functioning phone screen (they close at 7PM). They employee knew exactly the fix and cost immediately, and said he would have it fixed before close. 15 minutes later I walked out with a brand new screen functioning as if it was the original. HUGE sigh of relief.QUICK EXPERT SERVICE IS SO REFRESHING AFTER DEALING WITH PHONE COMPANIES FOR YEARS.
