The staff are very nice and the variety of food, snacks, and drinks is great. However, my boyfriend just got halfway through a cup of ramen that expired in April. He started realizing the noodles, tofu, and broth tasted really off. Im thinking this is likely a result of the pandemic and the difficulties around running a business during this time. Nonetheless, be careful to check expiration dates for anything you purchase here, and it makes me nervous to buy any of their fresh food if labels of ingredients are not checked before use.

I came to this place this morning i had a very bad experience of customer service… guys didn’t even say hi… don’t smile… talked very rudely… i can’t give zero stark … i can’t understand people like this… working in store with customers and don’t know how to act with people… guys if you don’t like your job just quit… why did you give your bad mood to other???

This is an excellent grocery store. They have an eclectic mix of high quality food, including typical daily staples, fresh produce, and great Asian foods and candies. Theyre a little less expensive than Whole Foods while still selling higher quality food.

I go for the poke bowls! They do them right! Plus everything in their store is wholesome and fresh! Lol it is on the pricey side for some things, however the poke bowls and ramen are at the right price. Lots of great food choices!

If I can rate this 0 stars I would. My friend and I went to this Wholesome Fresh in Harvard Square right after work to grab something to drink. My friend grabbed two Coronas as I was grabbing an aloe and bubble tea drink. We went to the cashier and the guy who was working there in front ( Saturday 17th, at 5:35pm ) told my friend to show him an ID. My friend did, and the cashier told me to show ID. My friend said why when my friend was the one who was buying the Coronas. The guy became rude.

I. LOVE. THIS. STORE. If I could leave a thousand five star reviews for them I would! The overnight crew is absolutely phenomenal! Theyre so friendly and always so hard at work! Ive gotten so many of my friends hooked on coming here, even if its just for a bottle of water! They have a fresh hot bar, a deli where you can get So many different types of sandwiches, paninis, or poke bowls, even sushi if thats your thing!Theyre open 24 hours too! Very safe place to go if youre hungry in the middle of third shift and want to relax a minute with some fresh food!I will note, the day crew isnt as appealing as the overnight crew, theyre not as social or welcoming, but I still come back, its worth it regardless ! :).I can update with more pictures, but for now heres the deli menu 😎

I got a delivery from this place, I got a poke bowl. It was just decent, nothing special, not like I really liked the taste. Everything was fresh, though. Delivered very fast. But I probably wouldn’t order again, not a fan of a taste.

One of the best grocery stores I’ve been to for its size. Such an amazing selection including items I’m not even sure Whole Foods has. Nice fresh colorful buffet as well. Nothing not to love, and 24/7 hours is the icing on the cake. What a late night oasis; without it Cambridge would be a relative food desert at night.

The food from the hot bar was very bland at best and meatballs were opposite of delicious- couldnt even finish one. Was not expecting that kind of experience after all good reviews

Went on a Boston trip and stopped by to eat here. Can not say anything bad about this place really. Staff are kind, food is great. Nothing wrong with stopping by to eat here, overall very pleased with how this place is.

This place must be a joke. I paid $14 for a breakfast platter and a bagel with cream cheese on GrubHub. The platter was small and bland, the kids menu at McDonalds wouldve been bigger and tastier. As for my bagel, I ordered an onion bagel....a bagel with onions IN it....BAKED IN.....and this is what I got from them. Wth is this?! Unbelievable!!!!!!

Everything is fresh, many choices, should think about adding Halal meat for Muslims.

Im mostly suspicious of non specialized restaurants. Ny general rule of thumb is that if you dont do one particular type of cuisine very well youll become a fusion place that does all types of cuisine with mediocrity. Not the case with Wholesome Fresh. Ive ordered from here about five times and made sure to try a lot of different items. Pokebowl, sushi, subs, etc. Every meal from them was delicious and constructed with care with fresh ingredients and by a friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for anyone unsure of where they want to take their dinner or lunch.

Food is very expensive and mediocre at best. The kombucha they sell “the Bu” is consistently not refrigerated and explodes when you open it. I bought one two hours ago and I still can’t open it without it spilling everywhere. Harvard Sq in general is nearly impossible to find lunch for under $10

Its got a wide variety of hot and cold foods, buffet style. None of them are *great*, but theres a lot of variety and you can pick and choose what you want, which is a bonus for me.

This deli corner is useful. Menus such as cold deli, mainly salad, hot deli including fried and fried foods, and fruits are substantial. The basic lineup does not change every day, but there are also menus that change daily. There are three to four types of soup. In addition, I thought that Poke Bowl can be taken home and it is superior to the nearby chain store PokeWorks in terms of both taste and price. Ready made sushi is also delicious. Bread and coffee are also available, so morning use is also possible. There are some chairs and tables in the shop, so eat-in is also possible. Some 500 ml of ITO EN tea, frozen foods and snacks from Japan, and some dried noodles such as oats and udon are put.
