This review is pending an update, but util that time, the store gets an AVOID rating. I bought three cans of white paint, two wall and one trim, but when we got around to doing the project, discovered they mixed the wrong color for one of the cans (a yellow not a white, despite the label saying, to match the other cans we bought). When I called to let them know we needed a replacement can of the right color (a color that was noted on our account when we purchased the can), I was told they wouldnt do anything about it. Then the guy I spoke with, who is either simply rude, sexist, or both, said come in with the can. When I got there, he told me he wasnt giving me money; I tell him no prob, I just want the right paint; he tells me I will have to buy a new can, because mixing the right can would be like him giving me money. The cans are all labeled and our account is noted what color we bought, he saids himself its not the right color, but refused to take any responsibility. He did give me the number of his boss, whom I called, but have not heard back from. If they cant simply manage their mistake by giving me the paint I supposedly bought in the first place, I will be looking for a new paint store after working with this store for 22 years on multiple projects. Working with them this time around has been a total drag, alienating, and a waste of my time and money.

Cant beat the warrantee its the best. Im sold.

Classic paint and finish store. Good materials and tools at entirely reasonable prices, and Ive gotten good advice when Ive needed it.

This is not the first time that I have gone into City Paint and been completely ignored. The Haitian guy behind the counter stayed on the phone with his girlfriend the entire time that I was in the store. Hello, the customer is the one who spends the money, keeping the store in business. Rather than help me, he turned his back and continued his conversation. When I finally got tired of waiting, I left. I called my painter and shared my experience, and he told me he no longer buys his paint there because of poor customer service. Management take notice: Your help is not helpful.
