My friend got her vehicle tinted there and they did a good job so I wanted to schedule an appt and the guy was very rude on the phone. Asked me what car I have and I told him and he rudely told me that every time they do a Lexus “it’s a pain in the ass”. Was trying to figure out what day I could come since I will have to have a ride home since it takes 3+ hours and he told me “call me back once you have it figured out”, was not patient at all. Will not be coming to this business, not sure how people can be rude when I’m paying you for a service.

I was very pleased with the service. They fixed the problem with the speakers and the radio. They didn’t try to sell me an all new system and just toss out the old system . I was recommended by a friend. I would recommend to anyone who needs their service. They are very much deserving of a 5 star rating.

Had my car there all day for them to hand me my key back without a word as to why they didnt get my car done. Wasted most of my morning and afternoon for nothing. There certainly is better places to go for work. Businesses that know how to schedule and maintain a schedule. You know, the important things to people instead of wasting their entire day for nothing. Thabk but no thanks automotive electronics.

Professional, knowledgeable, and GREAT customer service!!! I explored every local remote start installer before choosing Automotive Electronics... Numerous friends sung their praises and my experience was fantastic too. They answered all our questions and installed our remote start quickly while retaining our factory warranty and giving lifetime warranty to their work. They even configured the remote start and looked into additional options we inquired about.Just today (3 years later), we had a problem with one of our remotes needing to be reprogrammed... I called at 10:30 and they said to stop by at my convenience. I stopped by at 11 and by 11:05 they had already reprogrammed the remote... Super fast and courteous service... And they did it for free. Thank you!

Definitely the most professional location in town. Just finished an install on my 16 Tacoma... amazing sound that fit within my budget. Honest sales, they explain everything and dont push anything else. My only negative comment might come after my next mandatory annual hearing test for work.

There is one really helpful employee at this business; however my experience with the rest of the staff was not pleasant. I was highly advised to install an ignition interlock device, however neither Intoxalock nor Automotive Electronics understood that they gave me not just one faulty device, but two faulty devices!!!! There was no empathy shown by Automotive Electronics, and to give $20 each time for a re-calibration is absurd!!!!Also, the ignition interlock device says to not expose it to cold weather, well the one manager who works at Automotive Electronics said dont unplug it at all. I was never given any instruction or feedback ahead of time. So, if someone is going to make money off of someone elses misery, feel free to visit Automotive Electronics!

Love them. I have had 3 remote starts installed by them over the last 8 years ans they have been nothing short of amazing!

I purchased a Viper Smart Start for my sons car and the staff was polite and helpful up until when I went to set the Viper app up on my phone, I was not able to due to some error. I first tried to contact viper, but apparently their customer service is horrible and could not get a hold of anyone. (check out their reviews) Then, I called AE to see if they could help and they said they only send my information in to Viper and thats it. Since Viper was non-responsive, I asked the gentleman that answered if there was any way they could help me out. He politely said no. I asked if they had any contact info at Viper and he said they would only have tech support for installation issues. The next day i called back to AE and got a different gentleman who had the same response. At this point, I feel like I just spent over $500 on a product that is of no use just due to a login error. I reached out to another viper dealer that I have worked with in the past just asking them if they had any ideas. (Auto Toyz in IC). The gentleman there was so helpful and I didnt even buy it from them! He had contacts at viper and worked with them to figure out what was going on. Turns out there was a step that Automotive Electronics did not do to finish setting the system up!! AE could have AT LEAST reached out to Viper to see what the issue was. By the end of the day of working with Auto Toyz, the problem was resolved.

Would give zero stars if possible. Overcharges you because thats policy even asking the owner why there was overcharging and would not explain why just said thats what we charge Literally go anywhere else, trust me.

Always prompt, had to deal with A.E. because of an OWI (in car breathalyzer). These guys were/are great, and at one point fixed my car battery connection for no charge after Honda screwed it up programming some keys. Anyone getting a blower in their car should only look at the companies these guys support. I have heard horror stories about other vendors that do the installs and screw them up more often than not. Go through these guys.

Terrible job. Paid 300 dollars to get a radio installed and had to pay 150 just for a wire harness to get the bose quality but its definitely not bose quality. My speakers have a lot of hissing and the deck they put in isnt flush with the dash. Its actually cheaper through best buy but I thought price cant with quality. Go to best buy.
