Love this place! Amazing and caring multilingual staff. Great prices and so many options on what to buy. The wig selection is amazing even better then store that just sell only wigs. Great makeup even some name brands. Great professional hair color selection as well as many options for styling options. The jewelry selection is also great even for my sensitive skin. I cannot say enough good things about this place, I’ve been coming here my whole life and will never stop. One day my daughter will buy her first lipstick from here just like I did. Most natural products are sold here. I love to go here even though they have a lot of different selection I can find what I need. At some points I really wish they had the overhead sign to where things are I cant really find things as fast as I need to. They are organized its just I need to be able to see the natural product aisle.

I’ve bad experiences here. I’ve lived in the community all my life and was going to popcorn back when they had their first location. They treat you very nasty there, as if they don’t know you... just yesterday I went in looking for olaplex no. 3, I asked the cashier if she had it & she said “yes which size do you want?” I asked her if I can see both because I did not know the bottle comes in 2 sizes and wanted to compare sizes. OUT OF NOWHERE the owner yells “they’re $50 and it’s a $5 difference in size” and I kindly told him that the price was not the issue and I’m not sure why he assumed it was.....and then I kindly bought the bigger size :)...... this is just one of a few encounters I’ve had here.

Ive had a couple bad experiences here. Once with an Asian lady following me around telling me dont touch the hair. Then, most recently I asked for samples after making a purchase and was handed packets of skin lightening cream. Like, really!!?? I called the next day to speak with the owner. I was spoken down to by someone who said he was a supervisor. I left my name and number for the owner John but never got a call back.

One of the biggest beauty supply stores in Suffolk county. You can find virtually anything from makeup products to hair to fashion products. Prices are good too. But their return policy is pretty tight. You could buy something and return in an hour because you realize that it was the wrong thing and they would totally give you a hard time over it. Also black women are their major customers, yet as soon as you walk in, their eyes be on you like you there to steal or something. But I keep going still because as a Hairstylist and Makeup artist, that is where I can easily find products I need.

I bought products from this wonderful beauty supply store, the store when you walk in it’s very clean and has so much beauty care Products to Fulfill your needs, the personnel at the store was very friendly and they help me find what I was looking for, I live 13 miles from Store store, yes I had to travel, because the store was worth it, they were never rude to me and I will never forget that, I have been to other beauty supplies closer to my home and their service is no match for popcorn beauty supply. I would highly recommend coming here you will love everything they have, You truly will not be disappointed

It was terrible bought something yesterday when I got home I opened it up it looked like it was used and repacked, went back to return it and the manager said if I look at the receipt theres no returns,but I showed him someone else used it, he still said no returns this is the manager tall Chinese man, he was very nasty, disrespectful, I spend 100s of dollars there no more will never go back, so very disappointed

Staff isnt knowledgeable about the merchandise or the current sales or promotions. Receiving assistance with wigs/extensions isnt the most pleasant experience. However, they do have a large selection of merchandise.

The staff here are very informative and willing to help at any moment. I also thing that they have a very wide variety of products at an affordable price. I really enjoy going to Popcorn beauty supply and i highly recommend that others do as well!

This place has alot of hair supplies and alot of hair options. The people who worked here were very helpful. The parking lot is terrible though because it really needs a bit of repaving. But there is alot of parking since its in a shopping center. Whatever you are looking for, they will most likely have it.

This is the heaven of product.I love this place been going there for over 5 years and mind you i live all the way in Canada.Whenever i go visit my aunt i have to go to Popcorn they have EVERYTHING. I can spend an entire hour just shopping for product.The employees are nice and helpful.If you cant find what you need just tell them in after a couple of weeks they will have it.I like this place will definitely come back and recommend.

Always check the front of the store for sale items in the bins. Priced very comparable to the city without the traffic and lack of parking!!!😊

Honestly, I was really happy initially...... UNTIL I found out that they offer a discount to brides. When I went in there multiple times mentioning that I was purchasing for my wedding NO ONE mentioned this discount. Of course extensions are not refundable, which I was fine with but I did expect a credit to be issued for the amount.The manager was very rude and just kept saying he couldnt help me. This is horrible customer service, in my opinion. For him to be so dismissive and saying this wasnt his problem repeatedly. I dont expect the sales associates to know that it was my wedding, except that I MENTIONED IT EVERY TIME. If that is a discount they offer they should honor it for every bride and since I called to get it adjusted they should have done something to accommodate.I have never heard of such a thing and I am very disappointed and upset by the lack of trying to correct the situation.

Always well stocked. Always neat. Prices are ok. I feel because they dont have much if any retail competition in the area, they can charge what they want. They always have up to date merchandise. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. The try on rules for the wigs are quite strict😯. Only three. Id guess that would minimize sales, but again there is no competition. I have to share, I moved here from Brooklyn. Because of this stores vast merchandise selection, I no longer have to make trips down to the city for my beauty supplies. I LOVE this store. Can easily spend an hour checking out new products.

This store has been recommended to me over and over again, so I decide to call the store and ask about a flat iron price. Mind you Im at the border line of Nassau and Queens.The guy who answered tells me he cant give me the price over the phone. So they want me to drive all the way the hell over there to get a price? That is the tackiest business concept I have ever heard for a simple product inquiry.

Great location in strip mall- offers huge selection of everything- more than I expected in terms of supplies- and the wig staff was beyond helpful and very nice. There are two rooms for wigs! The guy who helped me recommended color and helped me choose between several. I came home with 1 wig- one pony extension- an lots of hair stuff- which I needed- including the hair/ scalp treatment..as you get past a certain age, take vitamins, and give extra care to hair and scalp..your hair will shine!

Sooo much items to explore. Very nice and neat. Even getting a wig is an experience of its own. Love looking at all the different types of black soap. Love this place.

They have a lot of products & youll probably find what youre looking for. With that being said, Ive been a customer since they first opened their doors at the first, smaller location. Every single time I shop in the store Im eyeballed as if Im a thief. Really? Ive been shopping there since the store opened & before 98% of the employees were even hired. Im a frequent, consistent shopper that purchases the same items. My child is 11yro. & Ive bought her barrettes there since she was born, literally. Learn your regular clients. Ive spent entirely too much money there to be treated like that. All races have thieves among their ranks, not just black people. If black people stopped shopping there collectively, there would be no Popcorn BS at that location.

Ive gone to popcorn for a couple of months now and I wanted to get a wave stocking cap and eventually I found a pack it was white and not really any other options thats the only problem. its a regular department store full of beauty supplies what can I say ...the staff is regular people they dont really have energetic expressions but thats not bad thing I guess.

I love this place. I have been shopping with them for over7 years now. Every staff member there is extremely nice and they go out of their way to make sure I am satisfied. I have relocated to Florida and I still shop with them. I call, I speak to my hair guy Danny and place in my order and it is shipped to my door step using standard shipping for free. My coworkers love the quality of their products. I relocated with several business cards, I distributed them to family, friends and any one who has inquired about where to get their own. Im a guy, so my visitation rights with beauty supply stores are limited by my inability to find what I need. Popcorn has an abundant variety of items, such a facial moisturizers, which are useful to me. Their make-up doesnt help me because I will never achieve being pretty. Again, I am a guy...just wanted to see if you are paying attention. Oh yes, they have other things, but for the life of me I cannot remember what those things are. The ladies are nice, both the staff and the customers, but I feel like I am the uninvited guest to a bridal shower. Do you catch my drift?

Stopped by to find a Styrofoam head for my new product, the new heavy duty multipurpose facesheildWell to say the least, they were the only ones open and I can see why, During this covid-19 the assumed owner was allowing people in 1 by one and taking them to the isle, show the the product and then, brings the product to the register to the cashier and she takes it from there, mean while, he has the door close, so he can monitor the flow as people get checked out, I FELT VERY SAFE, Is what im saying 😉 I will be returning to buy more products! The best place to buy your hair care products and hair. They have everything you need to take care of your hair.

I dont like this store but its close to where I live they arent nice and friendly like other places. They never want you to touch the hair on the display but thats how you know if you want it on your head plus its the display but when I need to run in and get hair to do braids I run there. There are other places starting to open up that I will eventually go to and stop going here because their customer service is non existent especially from the people that run the place. My kids love popcorn but I remember when they were a smaller store a couple of doors down...oh how things change...

Seriously probably the best beauty supply store on Long Island. Their inventory from wigs to hair care, body care, accessories, cosmetics etc is quite extensive. At first it was overwhelming scrolling through the store but as long as you know what you’re looking for then you’ll be ok. I come here once every other month when I wanna update my wig selection.

Popcorn is the best store for high quality hair extensions on Long Island. They are also the largest beauty supply in NY and have everything.

I walked in not knowing if anyone can match my high and low lights to a weave... a young lady by the name of Leslie found a beautiful clip in weave that matched my exact color... I am so happy and excited to wear them.. popcorn is tbe place to get everything..
