The jewel King Street! The hat selection and warm customer care has made me a loyal customer. This was my 2nd visit and surely wont be my last!

Ive been trying to get here forever after a trip to NOLA where I fell in love but hadnt budgeted for such a purchase at the time. So, I was ready to buy, the shopkeeper was great and very knowledgeable and the shop had the best warm, welcoming feel! Go there! Just, be aware, this shop is in a super popping area, and it seems the hats may sell out quickly!

My mother and I drove all the way from Charlotte, NC just to visit this amazing shop! Most stylists at our salon own at least one of you guys hats! Anyway our experience was so amazing especially our assistance from the sales associate Taylor. He went above and beyond with both mine and my mother’s hats. The man is a visionary :) Not to mention hilarious. We were treated with nothing but professionalism and amazing customer service. Thank you guys for everything we will definitely be back soon!

My friend has actually bought a couple of hats from this place and I always loved going in and trying to find one that worked for me. Just recently they had a sale online and I finally got to get one of the hats that I knew I would love. I didn’t know what size would be best for me and by the time I had received it in the mail it was too small. I decided to return it but they only had extra large when I went to do so. I went ahead and returned it but when that new XL hat came in, it was a little bent around the brim in two places, not damaged though. The hat was actually much larger than I had expected even though I know it was an XL I was just thinking rather it be too big than too small. To sum up the story, I ended up just going to Exchange it for another one of any size that they had left which was just extra large but I guess since I had already exchanged the smaller one theywould only do a cash back which is not what I wanted either so I called the store down in Charleston and they said that they could swap it out and they had one medium that they would hold for me so I left work immediately and drove two hours to the shop. They had kept it in the back for me, and when I walked in everything was perfect! Beautiful clean orderly space, service was excellent they were extremely kind and helpful as well as generous and now I have the perfect hat with an additional golden feather to put in it.

A friend and I visited this shop on a busy Saturday and they had a band playing. I started to be greeted and assisted by Christopher and based off the level of service I received I thought he was the owner of the establishment. His passion was awesome and he was extremely helpful. As I began to look at other hats Emily was also able to assist and advise. She also helped my friend pick out another hat. Overall great customer service and experience. Plan to come back.

I was there with my buddy and the guy working was super super busy and we were there right as he was closing. He took lots of time to help us. We were looking at hat feathers. I chose the one I liked and he goes “take it as a gift”. Man was so dope made my whole day.

This place is absolutely amazing. Ive been wanting to learn about hats for a while and needed someone well versed to help me. The manager of the store (I believe his name is Chris) took the time necessary to help me understand everything I asked. It was an amazing experience. My husband stopped in this shop years ago to humor himself, and was stopped in his tracks by the most interesting man that worked here. Not only did he wish to buy a hat, but he gained an understanding that a hat is a statement, no, a lifestyle.

Best hat shop in the world. They treat me like family every time I walk in. They cleaned my my 5 year old Goorin and made it look good as new. Then when I bought another one they took the time to shape and fit it PERFECTLY to me even though I said not to worry about because it was close to closing time. Goorin Bros Charleston is pure class.

My husband and I love Goorin Bros. hats and visit their shop in any city we are visiting. The Charleston shop and their staff are fabulous. Very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. We owe them a long overdue thank you for helping us to find and ship 18 hats out for us and our wedding party in Salt Lake City. They were helpful and went above and beyond to find us the styles and sizes that we needed and even throwing in a few hat boxes to protect them along the journey. This is THE BEST hat shop hands down. Old fashioned quality and customer service.

This is a GREAT hat store. They only sell hats and they will take the time to get the correct fit, yes good hats come in specific sizes. They also clean hats and did a great job on one of my old but lovely hats.

The gentleman working in the shop was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He could even tell right away what size of hat I wear. I ended up getting a stylish little hat that suits we very well. The selection in the store was wide enough that there was something for most everyone.

I purchased a hat from Stephen about a month ago. Ive never felt confident in any type of hat. Stephen worked with me very patiently and he and I agreed on the Guido Delgado Fedora. I wear my new hat in Columbus, Ohio where you predominately see Ohio State ball caps rather than other types of hats. I have had a number of compliments; including one gentleman saying, I really like your hat. I wish I could pull it off like you do. The service that has been given to me was perfect, really perfect. The young guy had good awareness, was friendly, saw what fitted my head, tried to stretch my taste a bit (in a good way), knew what he was doing and was honest with me. These hats are pure quality (if you spend more than 60$). Because of a special steam treatment, they ger real soft and you can even fold them to travel. Also the store is really nicely decorated!

The only hat Ill wear. :-) Everyone is very friendly and the hats are the of the highest quality. Be sure to get a feather! A hat box is also recommended to protect your purchase.

Unexpected day! Just tried walking by and got sucked into the joint. Ended up walking out with my first Ivy hat. Thanks to the guys for their undivided attention and assistance. I had an incredible experience in this store today, I was floored by the service.I should start by saying that I am a tough customer. Im extremely particular, and I usually have an idea of what I want before I even walk into a store.I have wanted one of these amazing hats for YEARS, but my budget didnt allow it. Today I saw they were having an incredible sale, and my husband and I went in hoping to find something at a decent price, that fit my peramiters.First glance, I had already lost hope. But then, a magnificent angel of a sales associate swooped in and started showing me pieces I hadnt even noticed. She quickly noted what I liked and didnt from each piece, and matched me with several beautiful new hats to try. One in particular was a killer grey hat that turned out to be made from rabbit fur. (Cute, but I couldnt get past the fur thing. Or the price tag...)Finally she matched me with a wide brim cotton hat, in the color I preffered, in exactly the style I hoped for. I had been unable to put what wanted into words, but somehow she did it. It wasnt fancy, wasnt the most expensive hat, but to me it might as well have been.Time to checkout. I wear the hat to the register, and of course I want a hatbox for my new hat. But alas, the sale has cleaned them out of the box for my hat... But wait! A second angel swoops in an produces a box for me from the very bottom of a display, and helps me at the register. Making care recommendations, and asking me to bring the hat back to visit whenever Im in town for a check-up.The part that made me feel so wonderful, and makes me appreciate this experience is that even though I wasnt purchasing one of the very fine and expensive hats, they still took the time to make this special for me. I had wanted to be able to purchase a hat from this company for years, and finally doing so -and having it outshine my expectations of what it would feel like to finally make that purchase... It was magnificent.Every individual who works in this location was kind, caring, knowledgable, great conversationalists, and were great listeners. Ive worked in retail for many years, I know what good service looks like -it RARELY gets better than this.Give these people a raise, or a free hat, or whatever it is you do to recognize excellence. Because if you dont, Im going to swoop in a recruit them for my company 👌🏻😜

The atmosphere of the shop and the hat are so lovely that they are bothersome. The clerk is kind enough to check the size of his head properly. I also handle a variety of feathers attached to the hat.
