Found this gem of a company while on vacation in Charleston. Loved their small shop and the fact that the bag makers are out in the shop floor area. We now have 3x of their weekender bags, a duffle, and a small backpack. Each one is top notch and theyve become our travel staples.Thank you J. Stark for a great product.

Visited Charleston in Nov. Of 2019. Last day in town, we bought a bag from J. Stark because of the apparent quality we saw in the shop. A year and a half later, could not be more impressed with the quality and durability. Our bag gets used almost daily to tote around books for our kids. Despite the abused, the bag is in as good of shape now as the day we bought it.On top of the quality of the bag, the customer service in the store was top notch. Would totally recommend.

This is a cool bag store. They make all the bags in the store. It is layed out in an untypical, but cool way. I like the little sitting area next to the antique radio.

Great customer service and awesome locally made products. I had asked if they could monogram a wallet in advance so I could pick it up in person and they were very accommodating. The wallet looks amazing and the leather is starting to form a really nice patina. Looks like I have to start saving for one of their weekender bags!

Visited this shop on my honeymoon last December and was thoroughly impressed with the hand crafted accessories. My wife talked me into buying a Randall wallet. It gets comments every time I use it. Olive Green leather is something Ive never seen before. These guys really get it right and get it personal.On that note, I want to give J. Stark a thousand kudos for customer service. I later lost said wallet on a bike ride and was very upset that the store was halfway across the country from me. After reaching out on Instagram, the friendly staff helped me identify the style and color of my missing wallet and I was able to purchase a new one online just as easy as if I were right there. And it came in two days. Just a fantastic experience all around.Cant recommend J. Stark enough.

Love my Franklin Tote! It is very durable and well made- Ive used it every day for about a month now and no signs of wear. It holds my laptop along with everything else I need for work; then becomes handy as a weekender bag.
