Alpha was fantastic to work with! I have a Jeep Compass and they put about a 2 inch lift on plus new wheels and tires. The experience was excellent! Highly recommend going there. Lisa and Rob went above and beyond all my expectations. The original tires and wheels we decided on did not work due to the manufacturer having the incorrect info listed. Once they found that out they we diligently looking for something similar to the original ones I had picked. In fact, we found ones we liked even better! Have nothing but positive stuff to say about this place. First time in was in 2013 when I owned my first Jeep. It was a 1999 Jeep Wrangler sport. Rob took the time to go over the Jeep and recommend a full suspension lift. Couldn’t have been any happier. Now fast forward to 2019 and I’ve got two other vehicles worked on. 1998 Toyota Tacoma that recently got a suspension lift as well. Rob and Lisa are very knowledgeable in their trade. Great people and great shop. The thing i like most is that it is a one stop shop. They do it all. From normal maintenance on a car to full makeovers. Would highly recommend to anyone. Hi I believe Robert from Alpha4x4 does great work I own an F150 and have had some work done to it and I still had trouble with it when Alpha4x4 was recommended. I talked to Robert, liked what he said and how he was going to do the work and we went from there. He re fixed what was wrong and added what I wanted and did it the right way and I have not had any trouble with anything he has done. My truck looks great and he did everything he said and for the price he said he would do it in if I do any more modifications Alpha4x4 and Robert are who I will bring my truck to. Robert and Lisa were easy to work with and helped me with doing what I needed to do to keep my truck looking nice and at the right cost. They are good people.

Discovered this great shop by accident. I needed new struts and shocks on my car and Alpha Auto did excellent work. They explained everything in detail to help me understand good vehicle maintenance. I would highly recommend this shop for any problem. Especially if you are into lifted trucks. Rob has helped me out and is basically my third dad to me. I came in with a major issue and he even told me as a concerned parent not even caring about what he is gonna have to do to my truck. More worried about my safety that i shouldn’t drive but as a young adult i am i didn’t listen and and got into an accident and without even a heartbeat Rob asked me if i was okay not even asking about my tru k but about my safety. He helped me out super quick knowing that this was my only vehicle and i was bouncing from car to car trying to get to work. Robert and Lisa were phenomenal and very welcoming. I came into the shop to have my spacers hopefully looked at/removed due to multiple bolts being stripped. Robert was able to take them off and I was very please to not have my tires scraping my fender anymore. I recently brought my 2010 Toyota Tundra to Alpha Auto to have some work done to it. Rob went above and beyond my expectations on taking my truck from just a truck to being one of a kind in my eyes. He installed a 4.5 in Rough Country Suspension Lift Kit.Wheels: Black Rhino CINCO (Gloss Black w/ Stainless Steel Bolts) - 20x9.5Tires: BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 (BSW) - 35x12.50R20Installed a T-Rex Stealth Torch Grille Insert w/ a 20 LED Light Bar and also set me up with brakes and new control arms and any other things that where rusted out under my truck. This truck drives like a dream on the highway and roads. I’m also very anxious to get this thing out in some mud and see what really can do. I was so pleased with the work that now I have my fathers 2009 Toyota Sequoia in the shop having a lift, tires, and anything that’s rusted out fixed on his as well. BTW my truck has 140,000 miles and my father’s Sequoia has 230,000 miles and with the work that Alpha Auto has done on our automobiles I don’t see why we can drive these trucks for another 10 years. I highly recommend anybody looking to do a lift with bigger tires on their truck to bring it to Alpha Auto you will not be disappointed. His auto knowledge is amazing.

I went to Alpha after getting what I thought was a properly installed lift kit on my pickup truck for a simple wheel alignment. Only to be told by Rob after he completed his inspection that my lift wasnt done properly and that I had some major repairs that should have been done before even considering the lift kit. Rob took his time to personally show the errors that had been left by the previous shop and explained how dangerous it was also. Alpha 4x4 is awesome!! I needed work on my new truck but didn’t know where to take it to, I found this shop doing a google search and took it there with my fingers crossed not knowing anything about them. I just figured they were close by so Id give ‘em a shot. Im so glad i did!! For starters, their customer service is amazing, right from the start on the phone they are very knowledgeable and helpful and straightforward!! Theres no mystery in what they are going to do or how much it will cost etc!!Second, Rob the owner/mechanic/builder is the man, he knows his 4x4 stuff!! He tells you straight what u need, dont need, what you should get or not get and so on. Not being a mechanic myself its hard to trust someone doing work on your baby but after you meet and talk to him youll quickly learn that hes a no BS kinda guy, he’s not trying to up-sell you or screw you over or anything like that, he honestly cares just as much as you do about the quality of work done, the outcome of the final product and your safety....if not more!! I flew from North west Arkansas to Chicago to look at buying a Evo X. Took it straight to Rob and had him do a full inspection and compression test on the car. He nit picked every single flaw on the car and found every problem with it so I knew what I was buying. He knew his cars well and knew EXACTLY what he was talking about. He was honest with me as the customer and didn’t share any information with the dealership. He has really good prices for such honest and quality work. His prices were very reasonable and quite low for such high quality work. If I ever come up north again for car related things, I will be sure to bring any problem to him as he knows exactly, what he is doing.

Robert is amazing! He and his staff are friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Robert installed brakes and rotors on my 2015 Nissan Altima about one year ago. My brakes started to squeak recently, so I brought my car in for repairs. After Robert inspected my car, he said that I didnt need brakes and the squeaking is from moisture in between the brake and rotor. PLEASE READ!I dont normally get this excited to share my experience at a business on the internet, but I cannot contain myself!For fear that a lengthy review will not be fully appreciated by the masses, Ill keep it as concise as possible.But please, let me say that Rob and Lisa at ALPHA AUTO REPAIR went above and beyond the standard of customer service and business appreciation. Ive been into so many shops, and talked to dozens of places before feeling comfortable subduing my truck to the work that I wanted done on it. I was a bit lost when it came to choosing what is was exactly that I wanted and Alpha stepped up to the plate. Rob is a visionary. He doesnt just do a lift. He actually visualizes it and explains in detail how all of the parts can and will come together. Sure, anyone can slap a lift kit on (possibly not the right way) and throw tires on (which was the case with my truck when I bought it), but Rob actually explains why and how all of the components work together. Why you would need to do X if you wanted Y and Z to function properly.Rob and Lisa are by NO MEANS pushy sales people. Far from it! The amount of time and effort put into explaining the process, showing me options, working with me on everything from design to financing is EXTRAORDINARY.Again, look at my profile, I do not post a lot of reviews. Only when I feel a place has truly knocked it out of the park, and Alpha Auto Repair has done just that. I will NEVER take my truck to anywhere else again, and this is coming from someone who does their homework. Make your truck great again. Did you just take your truck to the trendy cool shop in town? Did you pick it because of all the great pictures on social media? Let me guess it was an audio and wheel shop that happens to have great prices on lift kits? Terrible move...you just spent 10k and your truck rides like garbage...your new baby rides in the back seat and now gets shaken baby syndrome. Poor kid.Been there. Seen that. So your truck now rides like garbage because the installer of the lift kit did not install things correctly. Don’t take your truck to an audio place and have them install a lift kit, that is not what they do. When you need a plumber do you call an electrician?Robert can fix all your truck problems. He installs lift kits correctly and professionally. If your truck is all wrong because you went to an audio shop, Robert will fix it. Robert saved my truck, the lift was installed right. The truck rides flawlessly after 7 years....zero issues. Want to see it? If I am there I offer free looks. Robert is the real deal and he does stuff right, go see him before you waste your money at a shop that does not specialize in lift kits.

Make your car great again... just got an reasonably priced oil change with Alpha. Also ask about there CEDA program where you get your car repairs paid for, special requirements are required.

I like to try to do my own car repairs, but this is my go-to place for jobs I cant tackle in my garage. Robert and Lisa are knowledgeable and friendly, and treat you with respect. Dart even says hi when youre there. If you need work done check them out.

Brought my 2000 Jeep Wrangler back from the dead after being butchered by another shop. He also has done great work on some muscle cars my partners 2006 Vette and my 1967 mustang .

Took my gmc truck there for a lift kit and rob did an excellent job. He is very informative and explains to you what he is doing. I am very pleased with the work that was done to my truck and will continue to go and reccomend people to alpha auto. Great customer service.

I took my truck to 4wheel parts and it was a disaster. After several visits to the Naperville store I was sent to the Elgin store to work with the “training manager.” My truck was so jacked up in the front it looked like I was riding Baja style and it rattled like pots and pans. No one there could figure out why and they had installed the lift and suspension kit that was supposed to fit for my truck. After much frustration I was referred to Robert by a friend. Not only did he fix everything they screwed up with my lift, but he was also able to diagnose the problem within 30min of inspecting it. He does excellent work. I wouldn’t bring my truck anywhere else and neither should you!Thanks Robert - you have earned a lifetime customer.

Never in the course of my years driving and going to many auto shops and dealers to have my car for any kind of service or repairs have I ever experienced such warm, kind, friendly service as I received from Lisa and Robert at alpha auto repair! I went in there to put lights on my car for my husband and we both felt like we were part of their family/friends. They are not only professionals but they treat you like family/friends and with respect a very rare experience you get from anywhere these days especially in the auto repair business. Lisa emails me promptly and goes above and beyond even when waiting on fog lights she says she is being nice way letting them know she is going to be a thorn at their sides. Robert and Lisa are really knowledgeable about automobiles. And when my husband thought the caliper froze Robert said if you can safely drive it to him he will check it out. Luckily everything was good tires axel caliper brakes he was thorough and he did it no charge. I wish there were more people in every business just like them it would make the world a better place! And the pictures Robert showed us of the work hes done looked so good he made a mini van look awesome I would want it and Im not a mini van girl. I just got my car back and the lights and light bar look awesome! Makes my car look even better then before! And it’s safer for my husband and I to drive at night especially when it’s snowing and raining! My husband loves his Christmas present and I love it to! Thank you so much Robert and Lisa!
