Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and fast!!!I needed my exhaust system repaired, and was told alot of BS at the dealership. I called Meineke, and told Will my issue. He was honest, knowledgeable and genuine. Told me to stop by, and typically the job takes about 1/2 day.I came in to get an estimate, and to schedule sometime next week.Too my surprise they were able to do the job right then!!! They did a great job, and in a timely manner.They definitely earned a lifetime customer!

The techs are excellent. All are ASE certified which to me is a plus. They can be a bit higher for service than other garages I have used but they are fair and guarantee their work. Thats a big plus in my book.

I came in spur of the moment and Rob took care of me right away. He knew I was on a time crunch and made sure the work was done on time, even though I didn’t give him much time. I came back a couple hours later with a new issue and he once again prioritized it. I felt very taken care of and would highly recommend this location! Great customer service and very friendly and welcoming.

I cannot express adamantly enough that the team here is the best mechanic team I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Honest, trustworthy, professional and fast. Every time I have had to get repairs done on my cars, I am blown away by their personalized service and honest opinions. Anyone that is tired of the typical mechanic ‘over selling’ and slow pace need to make the switch as soon as possible!

Routine oil change. Convenient, quick, reasonably priced.

Busted ETIC. Was quoted 30 mins to 5 hours. Took closer to 8 hrs and no notification, required me calling and hunting that info down. Not a big deal today but if relying on that quoted fix time to have my car for work, etc I would be screwed.Nail in tire repair. Repair job seems good to go. Complaint is with the management not the maintenance.

Rob was super communicative and helpful whenever I had a question. Helped in record time and gave me ideas on what some useful next steps for my wheels would be in terms of maintence.Extremely grateful and I will return when my next need arises.

The guys here went above and beyond in changing my oil as my oil tank was leaking due to a stripped thread. They found a way to stop the leak without me having to buy a new oil tank. Craig, Blaze and Jim were all top notch in the service they provided. I also really liked the interface the company uses to show all the inspection points on your car, what is ok and what may need attention. It really makes it easy to understand and see what is wrong with your car. They didnt pressure me into getting things done I may not need right away. I will definitely be back here next time.

He did not try to upsell me on anything that was not necessary, and gave me the different options for payment and financing. I had my oil changed, or I thought I did. After this appointment (most recent oil change btw about 3K miles ago), I have since had my engine die after only 60K mi. The filter was not changed after inspection as it was the same filter number the person who changed it prior to this had installed. The oil was thick like tar. The oil simply wasn’t changed or the incorrect oil was used. Simply not acceptable. I would make sure you are actually getting what you pay for after getting a service.

After paying over $200 for a transmission fluid service I went home and parked in my driveway. Couple hours later I saw there was a puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway and I never had any problem before. Making a second trip back to the shop and inconveniencing me even more in addition to a clean up in my driveway it was discovered the bolts to the pan werent tight enough the first time. You would think I would be compensated for the inconvenience and service I paid for but NOPE. Raised in the area I try to support local but I wont be going back here.

Amazing honest folks. Very professional, courteous and they dont try to upsell or find unnecessary faults with your car. I called early morning and they said they could accommodate me if I come in soon. They quickly took my car, found no issue. Fixed another small thing for free as well. All for no charge. Im speaking from my experience only and hope that this review doesnt negate the other positive reviews posted here which reflect good, honest work done by some of the technicians at this location. But, particularly for the sake of others safety, I think its important for me to share my experience. There are other concerns I could raise around customer service and a lack of basic respect and friendliness from a certain employee at this location, but Ill limit my comments to safety concerns for the benefit of others.On two separate occasions, this shop has performed faulty oil changes on my Volkswagen Jetta.On the first occasion, there werent any leaks to indicate the vehicle was losing oil, but when the check engine light came on and I checked the dipstick, it was completely dry. I ran the vehicle to another shop that was close by to check on this, and they verified that there was hardly any oil in the car. This was a week or two after I had the oil changed at this location. I chalked it up to a one-time mistake and didnt fuss about it, but I did bring in my own oil for the next oil change to make sure they refilled the vehicle with an adequate amount.Less than two weeks ago, I returned for another oil change. Fortunately, soon after the oil change my battery died in my vehicle, which prevented me from driving the car much after the oil change. However, after having the vehicle towed to a different shop, I received a call from them this morning noting that the vehicle was completely dry and that oil was leaking profusely from the drain plug. They suggested that the drain plug shouldnt have been reinstalled after my last oil change at this Meineke location, given the status of the threads on the plug -- something that I believe is supposed to be checked and secured before a car leaves a shop, given the risk of major damage to a vehicle running without oil.Given the consistency of this pattern, I suspect that there may be some negligent work being done here. On two separate occasions, basic oil changes were performed in a sub par manner which placed myself and my family in danger on the road.If this review prevents just one or two other families from getting work done at this location and avoiding potential danger as a result, Ill be happy to have shared my experience. This is the first review Ive ever posted online like this, and Ill admit that some of it is motivated by despicable customer service I received in response to my concern about this latest oil change. But, again, Ill spare the customer service details to place my emphasis on what is most important - safety and basic competence in completing a routine oil change.

I have been taking my cars to Andrey at this Meineke for years. Great work, fair prices, and always go the extra mile. They are honest and wont try and upsell you something that you dont need. Always feel comfortable leaving my cars here. Highly recommend this shop.

Went in with a 2003 Highlander with a loud exhaust issue. A few months ago, a dealership quoted over $1,400 for the repair. This Meineke staff was friendly and honest and was able to repair for only $175. I will definitely be going back for my auto needs.

I have had a number of bad experiences here. With there being so many other options in the vicinity you should just go somewhere honest.

Excellent shop. I started taking my cars here when he was located in the air park (Gaithersburg). Theyre always professional, very knowledgeable, & never try to upsell, or sell you services that you dont actually need. The new location in Damascus is definitely a good ways out of my way but always worth the extra hassle of getting my vehicle out there. Ive never left this place feeling like I got ripped off or having to question the quality of the work. Of course competitive pricing is always a plus.
