She claims she flew for Delta on the saab340. When questioned what operator she flies for she said Delta. Didnt know a mainline commuter Aircraft was a thing.

Good selection of pilot essentials but lady who works there is rude for no reason and it’s very expensive.
I have worked before at embrys bookstore. And the cost over there are no where close to how expensive this place is. A 9 dollar logbook is 22 dollars here. I am not being negative, not a hater, thats what it is.
The counter person was a little creepy in response to a simple comment but they have a large selection of pilot essentials.

What a fantastic store for aviation supplies. The management here really knows their product line and is extremely helpful identifying the tools you will need for your current stage of aviation. They are very friendly and will be sure to provide you with an honest opinion of the best tool to use. I have bought a number of items from this store, and will continue to shop here as it is a one stop shop for all of my aviation gear needs.
Finishing my training at Riddle and try to go there for all my aviation related gifts and supplies that otherwise youd have to order. Picked up The Old Testament that is Stick and Rudder today and the owner is a sweet, certified aviation boss, having flown professionally for many years. She is a wealth of knowledge for young pilots like myself and a rare breed of aviators that wants to pass her knowledge on to our generation. Not to ramble on, but swing by there, learn something, pick up great flying books, you wont regret it. And yes prices may be slightly higher than others but you get what you paid for. Dont support the big guys support the little guy (women).
It saddens me to hear of so many negative experiences in Vicky’s shop. I have bought all of my educational stuff here. Apparel, books headset and more. Every time I’ve shopped with her, I’ve gotten the best service. Overpriced and the owner is rude. Wanted to return a kneeboard and she told me it messes up her system, I cant restock it. When I brought up it was incredibly overpriced, she was defensive. Been telling all of my friends to never shop there again. Its a shame, the store is a great thing since nothing really has that kind of selection around here, but the customer service is a train wreck and prices are disgusting. Shop online instead.(The kneeboard I bought was nearly twice the price in her store than direct from the manufacturer. Will not make that same mistake again.)
A fantastic place for everything you need as a pilot. Owner is super knowledgable and very nice! If she doesnt have it she will gladly order for you. Only place I go for all my flight needs and aviation gifts.

I visited this store to look and compare flight training equipment I needed. The old lady is very pushy and sales orientated than to actually provide good customer services, though it first didnt seem that way. After not having what i needed in stock, she said that I should buy it all online after hearing my friend and I talk over buying a pair of Bose headsets from Bose rather than from the store. It made me feel unwelcome and uneasy and so we left her empty handed.The store itself probably has what you need, at an overpriced rate and no return policy and therefore probably worth getting it from an online supplier so you have some sort of security. Youll definitely walk out buying things you dont want if youre not careful going into that store. Shame E.Riddle pilot store closed.Happy aviation shopping.
Dont ever shop here. It is way overpriced (double) and you cant even return items.I bought a mini binder from here last Friday for $ 11.60 or something. I wasnt sure if it was big enough but the old lady assured me it is the right size. It turned out it was too small for my need and I also found a better deal at Office depot for under $6 over the weekend. So I went in again for return. The old lady was very displeased when I tried to return the binder. She kept saying that her shop is not like the Walmart or Kmart. So I said I dont care what your shop is like. You didnt tell me of your no return policy at the time of purchase nor it says on the receipt. I just want my money backShe was the one who told me the binder was the right size.And yet she was refusing to do the simple refund.Whos being rude here?According to her Im the rude one apparently.In the end she did take the return but she asked me if I was a riddle student.I told her I was then she said THATS GOOD CUZ IM A BOARD MEMBER AT RIDDLE!Im not sure if she was trying to threaten me with that line.Anyways Im never going to shop there again.

The owner is very rude as others have stated. She was unhappy with how my car was parked in the parking lot (in a completely abandoned location btw). So I saw a Silver Mercedes truck parked in the fire lane at the front door and I asked whose car is that? I assumed it was hers because the place had not one single person and she rudely said “Mine!! I have permission” lol doubtful.....I hate saying it but I am a black man in a Maserati and I honestly think it bothered her.Don’t waste your time folks, over priced and poor service anyway. I gave one star because I had to so I could post.
This place is ridiculously overpriced. Id never recommend it to anyone. The visibly old lady who manages the store will pass a snide remark or two if you take your time around her shop and ultimately end up buying either one or none of the items! I had no choice but to pay $13 (an absolute rip-off) for a VFR sectional as it was out of stock at the pilot shop at my base airport. Even in a more expensive state (CA), I dont remember paying more than $9 for a VFR sectional chart, at a much better (and prominent) pilot shop and that too less than 2 months ago!

First of all, dont waste your time, energy or money at this place.The woman (owner and only worker) of this place is just interested in your money. She doesnt care about the customer at all.I went there to get some school stuff, my mistake was that I let her convince me to buy more stuff than what I really needed. I arrived home and let the stuff the same way as she sell it to me. I went back next day to return the items I didnt needed, she changed herself from a super nice woman to worst person ever telling me that I already had used the items and that she has a return policy thats says she has the right of taking 25% of the price for every item you return. She was so rude, getting mad about giving me my money back, she was making disgusting faces to me, screaming and acting as a jerk. She gave me my money back, of corse with the 25% discount on every item. And lets talk about how over priced is everything at this shop, more than the double, DO NOT SPEND A PENNY THERE.The day I went back one of my friends went with me cause she needed something desperately. This woman wanted to make her buy more than what she wanted, shes so good at convincing people about buying stuff. And wgen I said to my friend, dont buy that here we will order it from internet she started saying to me to shut up, that internet items werent same value and that I had not right of advising my friend in what to or not buy there. Dont let her cheat on you with her nice granny face. Cause shes not nice at all.If you need something, better buy it on internet, order with time so youre paying the real priceI give her shop and her 1 star rating cause the cero option is not available. Super rude. Got there at 1630 on a Saturday afternoon. Instead of welcoming us into her store, she barked out Im closing soon! Really? Ok. I was there to buy the PHAK and the AFH. She got even more rude when I couldnt remember the acronym for PHAK or whatever. Just show me where the books are, Ill find it. I wanted to look around a bit at what was in the store but I was rudely reminded again about the fact the store was closing now in 25 minutes. I asked if she was open Sundays. She said she instructs on Sundays and kinda had a tone as if I shouldve known that somehow already. My face got hot. I paid for my books and left.I realized on the way home that she really pissed me off. Here i am forking over $50 of my hard earned cash and here she is being completely rude for no reason except for that, i came into her store. Well let me tell you what. Im not going in there agin. Ever. I dont have one more penny to spend there. Ill drive for 2 hours and pay 2x as much before I see foot in there again.I worked in customer service for 15 yrs, and i actually cant believe the experience there. I once waited outside 50 minutes past published opening business hours for her to pull up, just to see how long it would take (what else is there to do on your days off, ya know?). Ive frequently showed up and found her closed way too early or opening half an hour or more late. Shes about as reliable as some of the rental aircraft in the area...She may have been something in her hay day, and the shop was probably the cats meow a couple of decades ago, but that time has passed. WAY OVERPRICED! Understandably a small store like this could be overpriced however the owner (Vicki) marks everything WAY up! Not to mention if you try to compare what her priced are to what they should be she gets very upset.I was trying to figure out if I could get a better deal somewhere else on a book. Turns out the book I was looking at in her store was priced at $41.99. The same book from Gleim was only $30.99.She was very rude and told me that I was a bad person and that I should be ashamed of myself.... sorry Im a student that has very little money.**Fun experiment**--I GUARANTEE if you go in there and ask what the return policy is she will say almost exactly Im not a Walmart or K-Mart....Once she found out I was a student at ERAU she made sure to let me know she is a BOARD MEMBER AT ERAU. I believe she was trying to intimidate me.... lol. NO ONE CARES! Bought a headset tried to return it with receipt and in box, she would not accept it. Called Bose, they said she was not a real dealer. Pray something doesnt brake or you need a return Bc she wont help you or offer assistance and like another reviewer said, she is pushy and sales oriented.
