Great place we discovered while in the area. Large patio area to sit and enjoy your wines. They have a large selection of wine and tastings to find what you like. They have stairs that lead up a hill where you can find more seating and a private covered space also. Friendly staff here also. It was not easy to find so we were happy to have the gps. We took home a few bottles. Try Hans Favorite or Coal Miners Daughter wine. We will be back soon.

They always have a good selection of cheeses and meats and a large, beautiful selection of laces. In addition, there are other items that make wonderful gifts. Plus its never too crowded either unlike other shops in and around Amish country.

Enjoyed the newest of this pleasant little winery. We had friendly service too. Did some wine tasting on the patio while enjoying the waterfall. Well worth the trip.

Totally worth the drive. Of course cheese is the star attraction but the delicious and affordable wine also deserves attention. Very cute and sizeable shop full of treasures as well as tables to sit and enjoy wine by the glass. Being open past 6pm would earn that 5th star. Wed love to go there after work but would arrive at closing time.

Staff is helpful and polite, Always a great experience here. Dont forget to pick up some trail bologna and Swiss Cheese!

Note: This is a 1 star review, I gave 5 stars so it will stay at the top.They falsely advertise their product as being produced by them, when in fact, they purchase ALL of their goods from major distributors. Their cheese is procured from an industrial factory farm in Northeast Ohio, and knowing that they lie about their cheese, I have no doubt that their wine is purchased in bulk, artificially favored, and repackaged. They even falsely label their cheeses - selling American cheese food product as broad run garlic cheese and processed cheddar with smoke flavoring as broad run smoked cheddar. According to staff, they were unwilling to pay for updated production equipment during their last inspection and shut down their operation years ago, but, they chose to continue to advertise as producing our own cheese on their website. They ripped us off for almost $50. Im appalled.Stay far, far away from these crooks!

The strawberry wine is amazing! They have sangria mixes that are great and even have extra recipe cards to take home. The little gift shop is so much fun to look in. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most the prices are reasonable too! If you are going to Amish Country hit this place up!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is so nice there. There is a man that works there ( I don’t know his name) that is so sweet every time I come in. He is so helpful and so nice. They have amazing wine and their outdoor area is sooo nice!

Nice place . Enjoyed the cheese . Bought some peach wine and it was very good . The staff was dressed in old world attire and all were friendly and helpful. Just off the main highway set in a nice little valley . Come spend a bit of time here . Ill be back for the smoked cheddar.

After stopping at another winery above them and not being waited on after 30 minutes we left and went to Swiss. Im so glad we did. Everything from the wine to the food was excellent. The patio was very pretty and relaxing. Will be going back again when we visit Holmes County.

Romantic setting and unique shopping experience

I was treated like a long-lost family member,they were happy to see me. great service and great tasting cheese.

We love the winery and restaurant on the hill. We had fries and tinfoil wrapped lunch which was sausage(or chicken) with roasted vegetables (potatoes, sweet cabbage, peppers).We did not taste any wine so I cant comment on that.The atmosphere and beauty, both within and without make it worth the drive. The gas fireplace can be viewed from inside the restaurant, or outside on the patio. The live edge tables have a beautiful grain and are finished to a silky sheen.

Great store, special going on now, a pound of meat and a pound of cheese and a bottle of there wine only 20 bucks

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a wide variety of wines and cheeses. Our favorite wines were Peach, Hans Favorite Blend Fruit Wine, Coal Miners Daughter, Sweet Thunder American Reisling, and Blueberry.The blueberry wine was for delicious Pomegranate Blueberry Sangria that they had for tasting. The provided the recipe.Nice stop on a Holmes County visit.

Did some wine tasting with James, he was so informative and sweet. Bought some Frost fire and First Crush wine and tasted a wine slush. Yummy for the summer. Thanks James!

Without a doubt a must stop when visitng Ohios Amish country. The wines are wonderful, the cheeses superb, and the new restaurant Hans Place is not to be missed! So glad were locals now and can enjoy year round!

They have a nice gift section and a variety of cheeses. The cheese is a good quality. I dont know anything about wine. Its a cute place.

I love the way their staff dress, it really makes the experience! Their wine tastings are cool because they give you a tray with all the wines you choose rather than doing it one by one. Their cheese is out of this world!!

This is our favorite winery we always get at least one case of wine to take to Florida for the winter. Its the best.

They have Fantastic cheese and wine. Prices are reasonable and its so much fun to try all the wines and snacks too. Some of my favorite wine and cheese. You must go.

This is by far our favorite winery, we go to Florida for the winter and we always get at least a case of wine to take with us and when we get back we go and get another case for home. We love this place!😁

Nice place, tasting area is tiny and we were charged $1 for two tastings, even tho we bought some wine. Wish wed had known and we wouldnt have tipped the guy!

Wines are on the sweet side. If thats your thing then this is great. I really liked the cabernet.

The staff is very friendly and I love their Rhubarb Strawberry wine. Also the choice of cheeses are awesome.

The wine is pretty good and the snacks are good but they could really clear out all the knick knacks and put in more tables. Its cramped to the point of being uncomfortable which completely ruins it. A shame.
