Joanne created absolutely STUNNING makeup looks for the bride and her wedding party this past weekend!As a wedding photographer, I hear brides say all the time that they want a natural look for their day (which is what this past weekends bride told me she was hoping for) and that can sometimes result in makeup that is too light and invisible in photos OR ends up way too glam for them. Joanne truly struck the perfect balance between natural and glam, the makeup showed beautifully in photos, and it stayed put all day!!My favorite thing about Joanne though, and the reason I felt really compelled to write this review, is that she clearly loves and cares about what she does so incredibly much! You could see the passion for her craft all over her face as she put the finishing touches on the brides makeup and when someone cares that much, you know youll have a top notch experience with them!

Thanks to Joanne’s professionalism, skill, attention to detail, warmth, and calm demeanor, my bridal party and I felt at ease and were able to truly enjoy the experience of getting ready for my wedding. I am so happy I made the decision to use Joanne for my wedding at the Nonantum. Joanne was everything - super responsive, listened to me (and was able to deduce my not very clear explanation of what I wanted into exactly what I wanted), and gave me, and each of my bridesmaids, exactly the look we wanted. Not to mention, she is super organized! I would recommend Joanne to anyone looking for MUA - I hope i have the opportunity to work with her again!

Joanne is nothing short of amazing! She is so incredibly fun to work with, and will make sure that you are 100% comfortable with what she is doing every step of the way. I really don’t wear makeup often, but I absolutely loved what she did, and it lasted the entire night (and into the next morning since I was too tired to wash it off when we got back)! Joanne was amazing to work with! She is so personable and professional. She totally nailed the look I was going for and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I went to her studio for my trial and she was so patient in discussing what I was looking for, adding where I felt I needed me and guiding me as to what would look best in photographs. She did my bridesmaids and mothers makeup on the wedding day and everyone looked gorgeous. She sent a schedule out in advance as to who would go when so we could keep to my timeline.
