Our go-to ice cream for the summer! So many flavors and they are all very tasty! The size of the scoops are enormous, ranging from Baby Moo (smallest, but still quite large for most people) to Holy Cow (an uncomfortable amount of ice cream.) On those super hot days, I go with the large frappe for a creamy, less-mess option.

They didnt have the flavor I wanted... SO THEY MADE IT FOR ME!!! Customer service is as good as their ice cream. Theyre number one ☝️🤤🍦

Cowlicks is awesome! Princess is my personal favorite, so is fudge brownie soft serve. The staff is very sweet and friendly! A great place to stop on a hot summer day❣️

The ice cream and the price here are fine. It does in a pinch when you dont want to travel further for better ice cream like Lagos, Loan Oak, The Dairy Bar (which has the good Giffords ice cream). We go occasionally but its not a place Id say has the best ice cream around.

What happened to our favorite ice cream place?😭 We used to love Cowlicks to the moon and back. Not sure if COVID-19 is the reason or not but our visit tonight was a big disappointment. It seems prices have gone up and serving sizes have gone down to an extreme. Or maybe the help needs training. Not sure, but I hope they figure it out so we get our favorite place back.💖

I had a very bad experience at the Dover Cowlicks with the teenager who was taking our order. She had a light purple half-shirt ans a belly ring. When she leaned over to type our order you were able to see like 1/3 of her cleavage. No one should ever that experience when they are ordering ice cream. Im more concerned about her safety than anything. Please, please, please tell her to wear a T-shirt tomorrow. The ice cream was great.

The girls working there should have a uniform... They should dress more respectful. What I saw the girls were wearing was unacceptable. The ice cream is okay..a bit on the pricey side

Popular place for delicious treats. Its nice that they have dairy and sugar free for folks with dietary constraints. Lines are long and very little seating available. Otherwise, worth the time in line to spoil the fam.

THERES THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER HAD.....

We ordered a pumpkin soft serve in a cone with sprinkles on top, but was given mango in a dish. Went back to tell them the error and they did fix it, but when they gave us the pumpkin in a cone it was melting all over the servers hand. It was just a lump of soft serve that looked more like it just came out of a microwave than out a freezer. Flavor was good but the texture was watery and thin. +3 stars for good flavor and lots of variety but -2 for lazy service and poor ice cream.

One of my favorite summer stops. Not only they have a big selection of flavors - 65 of hard serve, but they also offer soft serve, sherbet, sorbet, frozen yogurt, non sugar ice-cream, dole whip and others combinations, drinks... Definetly worth to stop and make your day more enjoyable.

Staff was not great. Teenager playing with her nails not looking up never called us over. I walked over placed my order. No please or thank you.My order was wrong and they seemed annoyed when I said I didnt want the wrong ice cream (we ordered 5 so only one was wrong)Not a huge deal but when someone is giving you money for a product I believe in being polite and using my manners.Again nothing terrible they werent rude but also not polite.Overall just ok. Not bad and if you want ice cream in the area I would go (it was good) but I wasnt impressed.

Much like other small ice cream shops, their portions are huge - you get more than what you’ve paid for. They have a number of hard flavors, soft serve options, dairy free, and fro-yo. And of course, all the toppings you can think of.Prices were more than reasonable. Cash and card accepted. Swing on in while they’re still open.

Great quality ice cream. Just remember that a small is actually huge....The staff is typically teenagers/college kids and they are always friendly and nice. It had been years since I stopped by but after moving back to the area, I did again and will be back after being reminded how good it is. Its right next to a seafood restaurant so if you need a meal first and want a great dessert, its an easy choice.

Im not a dairy person. (not by choice) The had this thing called the Dole Whip. Its kinda like a sherbet only it has a creamy texture. So I tried the Pineapple. It was excellent. And Three hours later no Ill effects. For anyone in a similar situation with dairy products, its worth a try.

Not a bad spot. Ice cream was OK, but unfortunately nothing special. Prices were waaaaay over priced. Just being honest, and portions were super small, and I put a heavy emphasis on small. You get waaaay too little for the price. Im one and done with this one. We tried at least.

Cowlicks Dairy Bar has always been my favorite place to get an ice cream or a frappe. It’s local, offers lactose free options and the staff is always happy to serve you. I’ve been on my own twice already this year and even for the opening season for Cowlicks, the staff has greeted me with welcoming, makes me an incredibly delicious ‘butter crunch frappe’ and sends me on my way with a smile! Thank you for always giving my family and I a great experience, only 2 minutes from our home!

This place is awesome. The staff here is the best around. Definitely stop here whenever I need some great soft serve.

Great ice cream! While this is no Annabelles natural ice cream, I believe they use Giffords which isnt terrible (certainly not all natural with most flavors). Variety of flavors and friendly staff. The serving size is VERY generous. Dont be surprised to wait in line in the evening on warm to hot days!

This place serves ice cream. The staff smiles. Big portions of ice cream. Mostly big smiles. If somehow, you go here and your expectations arent met, ask yourself: do I deserve Ice Cream? Chances are, you dont. You probably need time out and a nap.

Had a Sundae and ordered a jumbo Banana Split for some foreign guests. Great selection and ice cream was great but service was wicked slow. Mostly high school kids...nobody in a hurry. Overall still good.

Great summer spot for ice cream.Last time we were here, I remember a large variety of ice creams and combinations. Prices are okay, but you do get a decent amount for what you pay. Long lines are a pretty good indicator, but long lines also mean longer waits as you bake in the sun, waiting for your turn.I definitely remember one year where we were able to do some people-watching, though... three kids and two adults sitting on top of a minivan, eating ice cream. =)Staff are very, very friendly. Great service!
