You know I paid a LOT! last year to a different dealer to fix a problem. They:1. Did not even look at it for 5 weeks2. Required a call to top management to get it looked at.3. Had it back in 4 days4. Problem was alleviated but not fixed.. returned a few months later.Wrong wrong wrong! Now THIS dealer..1. Dropped off2. 2 days a call ..problem identified, parts ordered.3. Last of parts finally delivered after about 2 1/2 weeks (not dealer delay, parts delivery delay)4. Repair completed next day..I picked up my tractor and I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED OR PLEASED. About 3 weeks in all.. and done and fixed and great service. My new favorite place for repairs if needed. Kudos to Service manager Jack and his team!Paul MacDonald
Repeatedly poor service - Shady sales tactics from sales reps and Manager: Bait and switch, pretending the sales rep is out that day (Demonstrable lie), dropped calls, extra-long holds, pretending they cannot hear me over the phone, and misrepresenting phone messages they left (Demonstrable lie). Claiming they are waiting on parts, blaming the pandemic for back-order, etc. I have been patient, understanding and courteous for well over a month. I recommend you find another dealer.
Had a great experience dealing with John If in sales he took care of everything for me I could not be any happier. I would recommend him to everyone.
Got a great deal on a 3025e tractor, but customer service has been terrible! Calls not answered! Messages not returned, either voice mail or thru another employee. Tried to order attachment. Order was never implemented nor was there ever an apology. Got attachment from another NH dealer who is known for customer service! Will never buy another JD item from United AG again!
Bought a tractor 2 years ago they set up snow thrower and it ate a belt first year so they had it for 2 weeks would not answer or return calls went and asked they said nothing wrong and here I am again buying another belt asked for manger to get discount on 3rd belt and nothing. Will not buy anything from them again. They don’t care once money is spent. Updated stars to 3 for Jon reaching out to me and trying to make things right. Thankyou.
Two years ago we purchased a John Deere mower at Home Depot and United Ag and Turf has done a terrific job making of servicing the mower. They have made us glad customers and Jack in the service department in particular has gone above and beyond to keep us loyal. Highly recommended their classy service.
Salesman Aaron J was great, service not so much. bad attitude from Service Manager, Broken part was replaced with out needed parts attached to it, bring it back for replacement of that broken part they did not fix right the first time.I point out to sales manager what they did wrong showing pics, he said we will get back to you . Tired of waiting for a call and lack of update I go back to pick it up after waiting 4 days with out even a call back. I arrive and told by Mechanic that I brought the tractor in that way broken, Missing retaining nuts and its my fault.I tell him I have pics of the incorrect repair taken in their lot, Showing the part still had nut on it. of course now the nut is off and and still accused of breaking the part again as mech walks off . I complain to service and told they will call me back and I can head home.I park my trailer and truck there stating Ahhh no Im going to hang out till its fixed. 15 min later they bring my tractor back in and fix their error.Everyone makes mistakes, but when you do and are then caught in a lie, time for some super customer service and apology, nope, no call back and no satisfaction or repair until I park my truck and trailer (45 feet of it total) in front of their employee parking spotsIm a very tolerant person and realize that mistakes can be made, lying about them ( demonstrable by video and pic of incorrect repair taken in their parking lot ) however is unacceptable, so is the management team making you wait days with out returning a call about said mistake. After reading the other negatives posts I see that they are responded to by he LEADERSHIP TEAM asking the reviewer for more information, I have done that on my own, complaint letter email sent Sept 13 with the North East regional manager of Maine, NH and and VT, guess what ....no answer from them as well Its now 14 days later. But if the LEADERSHIP TEAM wants more information Ill give them all of the specifics.
Jon, the store manager, has been fantastic to work with. Had a few issues initially but Jon took care of them. Very pleased with this company as well as my new tractor. Thank you Jon!
Recently had service performed on a piecer of John Deere equipment; dealer seems overwhelmed and too busy to provide quality customer service. Received the pole saw back with the chain on backwards after being told it was fully operative and running properly. Discovered the chain was on backward when I went to use it. Obviously not running properly.
Cannot say enough about Jack in Service. Very professional and helpful, and always calls back. He always remembers you and your equipment, and is very accommodating to work with your schedule. His knowledge on different equipment and engines is so helpful. Very pleased and will continue to do business with United Ag and Turf
I’m impressed with how they fix my issues with their service. Thanks to one of the sales guy “Aaron”, he called to straightened up the issue and made everything good again. Really appreciate how they worked fast to solve my issue. I would recommend this John Deere dealership in Dover, NH for all those who’s looking for their first tractor!
I called for service on my JD 1025 R as the snowblower portion was not working well. Winter in NH and storms were brewing. Jack was able to schedule a pick up of my tractor within 25 hours. Within a few days my tractor was repaired and returned. I was called while the tractor was in to confirm the proposed scope and cost of work.I was removing snow right on time. Thanks for the excellent customer service.
Technician from United Ag & Turf came to my house to perform yearly maintenance on my John Deere 2009 LX280 tractor. Was able to schedule the service within 2 days of my request. Technician was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Explained all his findings and expertly performed all maintenance that prepared the tractor for another summer of cutting! For over 12 years I have been and continue to be very pleased with UATs sales and service.
I just had to remove and re write my review. Ive had some problems in the past but this new team is really great! From communication to service to quality of work its just amazing right down the line. My tractor has never run better. I truly appreciate it, thank you!
Called a couple times last week and spoke to Dan about some parts that I needed for my e130. Dan was very knowledgeable and helped me get everything I needed. He had all the parts ready when I came in to pick up. Highly recommend

Thank you to the Dover store and whoever runs this store! The service is great and I would highly recommend this store to anyone! I will be sure to tell my friends! Thank you for your continued customer service and over exceeding customer expectations!
Staff was very helpful and nice! Great experience!
Great customer service
Very positive experiences with any questions on equipment or service...Jack is always responsive and is a wealth of knowledge....highly recommend
I normally do not write reviews however, I wanted to say a special thanks to Jack Ferland, Evan and the entire Service Team at United Ag & Turf. Last Saturday, I noticed that my snow blower for my tractor was leaking oil from the blower itself. I called United Ag & Turf close to closing time and Evan took the time to diagnose and walk me through to try to fix the issue. When I could not fix it, he put in the work order to have it picked up as soon as possible.Jack Ferland the Service Manager then took the ball and worked with John Deere in getting the parts needed quickly. The parts came in the day of a big snow storm that was arriving that evening and would have left me in a big mess to clean up with a 200ft driveway. Although they were not scheduled to deliver to my town, early evening a truck was unloading the tractor in my driveway. From my conversation with the driver (did not get his name) he was on his way home when Jack had asked him to deliver my tractor. After seeing what has fallen so far today, could not have come at a better time.In my opinion, Jack and his team went above and beyond what needed to be done to have my tractor back to me at such a crucial time. They called me back within a short time with updates and could not be more happier. I would recommend United Ag & Turf for your tractors service needs.
I have called in for parts multiple times, including today, and no one picks up the phone. Seriously, in the last three years I have called them no less than ten times. Zero for ten. When you call in and push the sales selection, lo and behold, someone picks up. Must be busy huh ? In the last three years I have entered the store multiple times and Im the only customer there. Three guys behind the parts counter, all looking down. I routinely have to call the North Haverill store or the Fairfield store, or even the Ossipee store to get a human to look up a part and place an order. Whats frustrating is the Dover store is closest but I have to drive to the other stores. I realize John Deere used to differentiate between AG and non-AG stores, but all should be able to get a part if you seein eye dog em to it. To the cooporate offices of United AG and Turf, this is unfair to the other dealers. They do all the research and work and can even tell me if the stooges in Dover have it and Ill just go buy it there, but its unfair to the others. I also realize that it is all one big happy family now at UA and Turf, but the Dover store has been lacking for many moons and I recommend a major shake up down there.
Went in recently for some parts and was treated very well. Ended up talking to both Dan and Jon. They helped me and answered all my questions. Would recommend if you ever need to do repairs on your snowblowers or any Stihl equipment
Called the parts department today and spoke to a young gentleman! Went in to pick up some hygard 5 gallon pails and once I walked in the store I was greeted inStantly! The gentlemen I spoke to i Believe was the parts manager brought the oil out to my truck for me and put it behind my truck ! The service was fast and I highly recommend coming to see the crew at uat!
A very good John Deere/Ariens dealer/shop.They almost always have the parts I need for the snowblower or tractor.
They picked up our equipment for repair and maintenance but we havent done business with them before so we shall see how everything goes.
I meant to do 5 stars!! Thank you!!
We are so happy with the at-home service we have received this year for the Dover NH branch. Dan Tuttle serviced our two Z-Trac lawnmovers in the Spring and Sebastian Thomas serviced our JD 3038E tractor yesterday. Both men were technically knowledgable, furthermore, both were extremely polite and took their time to answer ever our dumbest questions. Looking forward to their visits next year. PLEASE KEEP THESE GUYS AROUND!!!
I do not recommend this place for new orders. Ordered an E140 with the snow blower package November 27, 2019, they said 1 week to assemble and have it ready since they had to bring it in from Concord. Follow up with the status after 1.5 weeks was it wasnt ready and Chriss comment was not a big deal, we arent expecting any snow. I followed up 3 days later and spoke with Chris, he said they hope to assemble it tonight and hopefully will be ready tomorrow. I stated, so you havent even started on it yet?. Chriss response was, well there were a lot of orders ahead of you. I cancelled the order and Chris didnt hesitate to oblige and said Ok. I can say Chris is really good at being a leader on their Sales Prevention Team. On a side note, when I was ordering the tractor, Chris was on the phone arguing with a customer about damage to a product delivered to the customer was the customers fault.
They never answer the phone, and when you go in to get parts, they treat you like they couldnt care less about helping you. Apparently they do a good enough business selling tractors, and dont care about the little guy. I will never go there again.
I have been a longtime customer of NCT (once Shaws Ridge). This season I really noticed some great changes! Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The service is great! I enjoy going in for parts or whatever else I may need for my mower and they even have a hot cup of coffee waiting for me. Everyone is great, thanks for all the help!
They made it Right!... I could not ask for more than that.I brought my tractor in for service late last year. They discovered a few items that needed attention. I questioned the added work as the tractor showed no signs of weeping or leakage. Not having the time to run down and look at the actual situation I simply told them to proceed.I did not use that implement all winter. Come spring I noticed the implement leaking after the first use. Not to happy after paying for that discovered repair months back.NCT did all they could and then some to ensure it was fixed correctly and that I was happy. After reading some of the previous posts I felt the need to share they seem to be making customer satisfaction a priority. They made it right. and that is all I could ask for.
I walked into this store for the first time today and I was greeted by the salesmen, parts, and service department as soon as I walked through the door. The staff was very knowledgeable in all aspects of there job fields. NCT will be my goto dealership for all my parts, service, and sales needs.
I was only there to pick up some parts but the guys at the parts counter were very helpful and courteous!
Great location, the store is always neat and organized, sales parts and service always helpful and knowledgeable, I highly recommend them
Really poor experience. I went by on a Friday, no one came to see me and everyone was busy. I left. Went back on Saturday. Evan was the only sales person, he had a couple people a head of me I was told. Waited for a bit, and then a lady did come over to help and was friendly. I was looking to get some information and secure a tractor. I was looking new or used. She showed me one used tractor that I wanted the information on and I told her I was interested in purchasing. I was told that Evan would have to get back to me but he probably couldnt today and would likely have to be next week.Next week came, no call so I called early afternoon because I wanted to secure the tractor. He was a again busy and I was told he was the one who had to help me.He called me back later that afternoon. He seemed really rushed and could care less about helping me. I asked if he could please put the pricing together on the tractor and the two attachments. I also said I would like to review finiancing options if I was not going to buy it outright.I never heard again that day. I emailed back that night asking if he could please get me the info or if there was someone else who could help.Another day went by then he emailed me back with the make/model and HP on the tractor, no price. I again called, he was not available and he was the only one who could help. The following day I emailed again, and explained that I wanted to secure the tractor. No response again. Friday he emailed me back with some financing info and said the tractor was no longer available.I cant imagine how much money they lose with that sort of a sales system, I guess it is good when the economy is good.Someone states they want to spend close to 30k on a tractor and attachments and no one wants to bother to help you and provide a decent level of customer service. It was almost odd, as though they did not want me to purchase the tractor.I called to talk to the manager, she wasnt available and never called me back. I will not go back and will buy a different tractor.I dont write many reviews but, this was an unusually bad, dismissive sort of experience.I would have went ahead and bought a new one instead, certainly not now from them.
Worst service department I’ve ever encounteredBrought my snowblower in for service this fallI usually just change the oil myself and make a few adjustments so this year I figured I’d let the experts give it a once overOf course I received the obligatory call to inform me the snowblower needed a little more than a tune up and for permission to do the extra workThat was fine figured it might need a couple thingsSo I get the call to come pick it up when they were doneOne of the service techs rolls it out to my truck engine running and I engage drive system and roll it up into truckAt home as I’m pulling it off my truck I notice that the primmer bulb that helps start the snowblower when cold is concave instead of roundWhen I call the service manager and ask him if there’s something wrong or if there’s something I can do he says he can’t see it has no idea about itObviously he couldn’t see it and wasn’t interested in helping solve the problemDidn’t say bring it in and we can take a quick look at it. No advice on how to handle So I go and check YouTube and look at some pics and I realize that it was installed backwards or upside downI pulled the retaining ring and flipped it and presto my primmer bulb is back to the way it was when I dropped it offSo during the first snowstorm I notice that the drive system is only turning one wheel. Something that definitely should have been caught at the dealer. This is a big blower and with just one wheel turning it was quite an adventureLong story short I again go to YouTube and figure out that a gear at the drive shaft needs to be greased. That fixed itSo when I got my snowblower back it had two issues it didn’t have when I dropped it offI would never go back there and would suggest that others steer clear of this dealership
Never ever ever ever answers the phone how do you run a business when you dont answer your phone? Im completely in utterly baffled its like theyre saying that we have enough business we dont want anymore? If youre that busy why not hire more help I understand its spring but isnt this their Christmas?
Tricky dock to get into for trucks. Youre gonna have to back into this place. They unload quick though friendly people.
Wonderful shop full of all kinds of Deere and Stihl stuff. Staff were pleasant and professional. One star off for how long it took to find the parts in the system for my tractor. I must have been there for a half-hour. They did apologize. The lookup system seems to be lacking - Deere needs to take a look at how they categorize their parts. Air filter was listed under Shroud. Not intuitive. I will be back, though, a great place!
Was told to pickup a MS 181 chainsaw as a gift. Went to pick it up and they told me to get a MS 180 instead. Two salesmen told me it was a better chainsaw and I didnt want a 181 since it was the same with a more restricted carb. Turns out that isnt true, the saws dont even have the same fuel tank size. Been waiting for a call from the manager for a few days now. Havent heard back.
I called the Dover NCT about having my tractor repaired (coolant in oil, likely a cracked block or head gasket). Service rep said no problem bring it in and we completed a work order on the phone with all the details. I dropped the tractor off and had another conversation with the service rep and the likely issues. I was told they do those types of repairs. I stopped by two weeks later and while they had not had a chance to look at it he again reiterated that he did not foresee any problems getting it fixed. Two weeks later he calls and says there is coolant in the oil and the problem is likely a cracked block or head gasket and the tractor is too old (1989) and not worth fixing. I am annoyed but decide to haul the tractor home as they clearly had no interest in doing the repair. In picking it up they tell me the service bill came to $107 but would drop it to $80. I asked what I was paying for since all the information they told me I had provided them in my initial phone call. They said it was for going over the tractor and providing an estimate (no estimate or confirmation of exactly what the problem was was ever provided). I refused to pay and asked to see the actual service slip. The only activity written on the service slip was that the technician checked the oil. They refused to give me my keys back until I at least paid $40. I left feeling ripped off and taken advantage of. It wasnt just the $40 but the day and a half I took off to deliver and then pick up the tractor.
Great people to do business with. Always helpful, friendly. I traded my kubota in on the Deere. I love it.
Not sure they are still in business. were supposed to pick up my tractor for service this morning. Have tried calling for 3 hours to see if they are coming and finally someone answered. Said they would find out and call me back. going on another hour and they dont even answer phone now.
Pick up and delivery made easy, friendly on the phone and great deals when I walked in the door..
I was approached by a young man who was very helpful and norgelabe off the tractor I was looking for by the last name of Marshall.
No issues, I am usually getting fuel and chains for my chainsaw.
Getting parts
Friendly staff that’s very knowledgeable.
Horrible customer service. The parts counter staff are clock punchers and do not have the ability to think. I walk in there with the broken part i need, with the actual part # stamped into the part and they are unwilling to help me find the part becasue i dont have a model #. As i am sitting in the parkng lot i type the words Ariens 1708 into Google and low and behold up comes the part #er and everything one would need to track the part down. Thanks for all the effort in helping me guys. I am in the market for a new lawnmower this spring. Looks like i wont be considering NCT for my purchase.
Had a pretty good experience buying a used riding lawn tractor but their service department is really awful. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
I am a pretty tolerant person, however I have hit my boiling point with these folks. I sent my lawn tractor in for service a year ago, and they mis-diagnosed the issue. I paid for parts and service I did not need. They then took the tractor and held it for weeks while a bigger more important job that came in after me was complete. After finally getting it back, I am having the exact problem. Instead of owning up to the misdiagnosis, I am asked to pay again for service and delivery on an issue that they couldnt seem to get right the first time. Clearly this is not a customer-centric organization. On top of it all, I was sold the wrong replacement belt for the blower attachement this winter. Thinking I was doing somehing wrong, I had to ask them to come out to help me replace which they did. Do you think they cut me some slack? Nope. I got a bill for $200 for the service call for a belt that cost a tenth of that. Do not expect this company to own up to their mistakes and make things right with their customers without charging you through the nose in the process. Seek your service elsewhere. Im sorry I did not speak up sooner. This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write. That should speak volumes...
If I could give zero stars, I would. I disassembled my snow plow blade that goes with my little lawn tractor and brought all the pieces to NCT. I had a suspicion there was one part that was faulty so I brought that piece into the showroom. The service manager was a young man named Evan and he seemed exceedingly aggrieved to have to help me, in spite of there being only one other customer in the store. He couldnt find the plow blade in his computer and neither spoke to me or looked at me over several minutes of attempting to find the apparatus in their database.I told him I could bring in all the pieces of the plow so I could show how the lift assembly wasnt doing its job, but he refused, because I hadnt brought the tractor as well. He sneered at me because there was obviously no way to see how the plow blade was failing if it wasnt attached to MY tractor. As far as I can tell, they never found the plow blade in their godforsaken computer.Complete failure of imagination, and bad farking attitude. Bad combo, and I wont be back.Update: I was able to buy bolts from a hardware store and fix the problem myself.
Very bad experience buying a John Deere from them nothing but trouble from the start horrible experience
Today, April 18th 2017, I brought two of my snowblowers over to them to be serviced. I had set these up yesterday and told them what i service I needed. Today I asked when the blowers would be ready and was told the by the service manager that he did not know. I ask if they could be ready by the first of June (six weeks away). He informed me that he could not guarantee any time because the snowblowers were not in season like the lawn tractors. He suggested that I could leave them there are bring them back in the fall, but any other summertime work would come ahead of the snowblowers. I will not be returning in the fall or ever. You could have informed me of your work policy yesterday and saved me a trip. If you can not service a snowblower in six or eight weeks, why advertise that you have a service department? With this sort of work policy...I do not think you are particularly busy at all.
Great service
Went in on a Saturday to get a part for my stihl chain saw. The guy couldnt find it in the system and said that he would have to call stihl and would call me on Monday. No call from him Monday. I called him back Tuesday, he did not remember me so I had to give him the saw specs again. He told me he would call stihl and get back to me on Wednesday. Never heard back from him. Went to The Tool Crib in Somersworth and got the part that day. Dont waste you time with these guys if you need stihl parts.
Stopped by on Friday for a quote to buy a 1-series, system was down, promised a quote and follow up call on Monday, now its Wednesday night and still nothing in my email or the phone call expected, guess Ill find somewhere else to buy a tractor
Service wise- Excellent. The techs are great and the new service advisor was helpful. Sales however is a different story. I have called several times and the sales manager isnt there. He always just left or was off today... I leave messages he doesnt call back... Ive spoken with him- tells me hell call me back and he doesnt... Other folks in parts or service answer the phone trying to help but no one else can look up implement pricing? or availability? Just a big inconvenience.... So I called FB SPAULDING- 2.5 hrs away and withint 3 mins I had purchased what I needed and will drive out of my way.....
Great place..very helpful
Very nice good service
Great customer service!
Always a great experience
Great place
The service
