They lie to you from the start and change the price 3 times on me and my wife ..we went from happy to sad to maybe there is a chance because we was asked to try and make it right to just change the price and make us sad again and tell us I tried and there is nothing I can do for you good bye have a nice day..stay away from clayton unless you want your Hopes of owning a home to be crushed..if I could give zero I would..not to mention they never return your calls

Run while you can! I wish I wouldve read these reviews before me and my husband got too excited. A friend of mine warned my NOT to deal with Clayton because of their terrible experience. I guess I hoped mine would be different. My experience was almost identical to several reviews...... Difficulty getting a response back, a ridiculous end quote on the home with no real justification as to why the house is now over 100,000 over listing price. This place gives the run around. A big waist of time. Thankfully we were able to get most of our money back. Found a realtor and bought a great home that was already on the market. Please advise...Dont waist your time or money with Clayton Homes.

Place is a mess. Broken glass laying everywhere in multiple buildings. You mean they cant clean it up. Someone get hurt or cut the company will be liable in more ways than ever

Nice home friendly people

Cant even get a call or email back. Was excited to get my house built just to realize I cant even get my emails returned or calls returned in a timely manner. I have been waiting for a reply for almost a month now. The month prior I was waiting for pricing. Now the house we wanted isnt even available? Was still on the site when I checked last though! Pretty disappointed at the lack of professionalism here. Hopefully others will have a better experience then I did and being left on read!

Not only did we build a modular, but my in-laws did, also. Were both very pleased with our homes. Overall, it was a good experience. We worked with Mickie Hughes, and highly recommend her!

Clayton Homes is great. From start to finish they are professional and knowledgeable. They also have really great homes to choose from. Kara and her crew are awesome l.

Their salesperson Christina Boyer never called us back, even after leaving several messages. Guess they are not interested in our business. We went elsewhere with better treatment and follow up.

If i could not hit any stars i would they lied to me and my family gave us a amount then turn around threw $20,000.00 and couldnt explain why or where the xtra money was needed waisted our time & got my family hopes up but we found a Great Place up on rt 40 pulaski highway Reybolds group ( Floyd PERKY Ridgeway) sales manager is awesome theres so much thats included in your home & he will help u with ur permits Please before you buy a house from them please check out them first we wish we did!!!Thanks Larry Alfree, Jo-Ell Meekins & Family were looking forward to getting new home with reybold up on rt.40 thanks Perky!!

Beware of these reviews. At least the one of the 5 star reviews is by Betty Lanham, an employee there. You can confirm that from their website under Meet our Team.We were looking at using these guys to build our over $400K dream home setup. Betty started out very helpful and suggested all kinds of customization to the homes, adding a basement, and other options. She said they could take care of it all, no problem. She said they had a floor guy to do the flooring we wanted even though I figured Id be doing that myself, and they had a garage builder even though I had already found one myself. Betty wanted to do it all there if Id let them.Then after finding land, getting pre-approved, and requesting quotes on the two floor plans we liked, she changed her tune. She said shed get back to me in a day or two with the quotes. Over a week later and she wrote saying that we needed to use another location because they didnt want to deal with doing a basement and other options that Betty herself suggested and showed us when we visited. I didnt even know most of these things were possible but Betty showed them all off to us.I guess Betty over promised and then chose not to deliver at all. Too bad, we really liked their claims.Dont waste your time or get your hopes up. Maybe if you want a cut rate home with no options to bother them with then you can deal with this location.I now have to shop for new builders right before my wife is about to have foot surgery, so touring builders and models wont be easy, and I have a pre-approval on my loan clicking away.

Nice tenants terrible office folk and rediculous inspections.

Christina Boyer does not do a good job with her job at all. My fiancee and I called several times with no response back from her. Diff places we went to look at, the realtor was calling us telling us it was a no go for whatever reason and christina would never call us to let us kno anything. I sent her a couple of e-mails saying how I felt after not getting a call back by phone. So needless to say, we backed out of all options and said forget it.

What a fine establishment and the best customer service Ive ever seen. I highly recommend.
