They have good spudnuts use to be better than now when they had the owner before this one

I grew up here and everytime I visit I take some back with me to share with my friends in town and I always get the same reaction OMG wow. Very much a tradition now and so nostalgic every visit. Im always 7yrs old again walking in to get fresh donuts with my Dad. Thank you guys.

These are the donuts I grew up eating in my home town and I havent been able to find any donut to beat themGoing into the Spudnut shop getting them freshly made with a cup of coffee cant be beatAll donuts are not created the same. Theres Spudnut then everything else is below them.I picked up a dozen on Saturday morning in El Dorado, AR. and Im still eating one or maybe two until they are gone. Not the same as being there, but theres no Spudnut Shop close to where I live now 😔

This is the best place ever. The smells are amazing, the spudnuts are amazing. Everything about it. I dont even live in Arkansas but everytime Im even just driving thru the state Ill take a long detour to El Dorado to get a dozen! And its always worth it!!

I think the sign said since 1949... I guess to be in business for that long they are doing something right... If you want fancy sprinkles or koloches this is not the place, they dont offer that here, but glazed chocolate covered, . Mmm good

Will always love the spudnut shop. I grew up on them. Better than any crispy cream or duncan donut. I remember when 1 dozen was only a few dollar. Currently you can expect about 7.50 but they are worth every last penny

The name speaks for itself they are made out of potato flour and are absolutely awesome I will be 70 my birthday and I have been eating spudnuts from this shop almost since the day it opened in 19 4 7 my mother and dad were dating at the time and they were the first ones to walk in and sit down in the Spud nut shop in El Dorado Arkansas

Every time Im in El Dorado I make it a point to stop at the spudnut shop. Spudnurs used to be lighter but they have more dough.

If you havent had a spud nut, you havent lived. Made with potato flour, these delectable treats are always made fresh and hot, and soooooo good! You must stop there if ever passing through or in El Dorado! Its a staple!

Locals love this place, including myself. Its far from any other restaurant and in a residential area, but their donuts are far better than any other place I have tried in my LIFE. When speaking to someone from El Dorado, you mention SpudNuts, and they will stand a little taller, as locals are very proud of this place. Its almost funny. We pride ourselves more on this donut place than almost anything else. Place is OLD, Interior of this place makes you feel as if they opened in 1940 and havent touched the place since. The atmosphere is horrible, yet every morning, there is a line to the door.

I try to make it by every trip to El Dorado. The taste remains the same I remember from childhood. Nothing taste like a Spudnut. However, the last few trips (over the past 2 years), I have found the donuts undercooked. The outside still has a crisp snap, but the interior is gummy and undercooked. They could use another 30 seconds of cooking. Very, very unpleasant. Ive given up Spudnuts.

Family owned. Very Efficient assembly line. You will swallow your tongue if not careful. Great coffee too!

The best people and the best donuts

I have lived in El Dorado for 45 years, and have been enjoying Spudnuts the majority of those. There have been a couple of changes in management/ownership but still continue to provide the most amazing donuts and customer service. Proud to say, that 5 generations have been enjoying these Spuds.

Pure nostalgia having grown up eating them. Glad it still exist.

I ate donuts here when I lived in El Dorado way back in the early 1970s, when I was a child, and I can say without a doubt that they are the best donuts on the planet! And before you ask, yes, Ive tried them in more recent years on visits to Eldorado and I hold to my 5 star review! Yummmmmm!

I love Spudnuts. Theyre the best . However I have a problem with the cashier. She is not friendly towards me, Ever. I am a nice person with a good personality. She never speaks just business as usual. If someone White comes in right behind me, she will speak to them and will smile. I have witnessed this on more two or three occasions. I am a professional myself and I am nice and friendly towards everyone I come in contact with. Her assistant always has a smile on her face and a very nice personality. At least, she makes my visit worth while. I will still patronize there.

If you visit El Dorado....this is a must stop place!Donuts made from potato flour, while sounding unusual, are very tasty. Even more so when they come straight from the fryer and are glazed immediately.A must have for that early morning work day!

Loved the spudnuts, it would be great if they cooked them at the correct temperature every time. The same day I was headed back to Texas, my in-laws got a dozen & an hour later we purchased another dozen. Unfortunately, one of the dozens was soaking with grease indicating that the temperature of the oil cooked in was too cold. Just a suggestion.

The best doughnut of any kinda. Thats because its a spudnut. Im from Fayetteville but have family in El Dorado and anytime Im down south, I make a point to stop at spudnuts because you cant get them anywhere else. An Arkansas original, my father has stories of spudnuts from his childhood and he says theyre as good as they have ever been. Even if youre just passing through or if its out of the way, make some time to have the best dough(spud)nut youll ever have.

The taste is so close to the Spudnuts I used to eat in the 80s. Show may disagree but its just like a hamburger .... You know hamburgers do not taste like they used to taste.

Spudnuts 🍩 to El Dorado are like the Cafe Du Mondes beignets in New Orleans, these are a must try. It is a very old business and they have kept their standards very high.Additionally, the kitchen is open so you can watch them get made by hand which is so satisfying and they come out hot and delicious!They even have the old original sign which is such a treat to get to see!
