Mixed opinion on this store. I think the produce section is its redeeming feature for me. Other than that, Im disappointed at the lack of the employees not paying attention to the best by dates. This can happen at any store; dont get me wrong. But I come across expired products a little too often in the grocery area at this store. Some even being 4+ years expired. Today I was browsing thru the canned coffee drinks. And just about half of what was on the shelf from various brands was expired. The latte canned coffees have milk in them, so I would rather not take a chance with something like that. Just glad I caught it before accidentally buying them and drinking them.
The workers are friendly. Produce is fresh. Meat is the best in town!
My favorite place to get food. The produce and meat are amazing! Also they never change the isles so that is great too! The best thing is it isn’t walmart!
Always have to check myself out and the person running self check out is always rude
Clean. Pretty well stocked But do to coronavirirus some stuff is limited or out of stock.
If you EVER have a work related injury and need medication through a workers comp insurance company, I dont recommend using the Dillons Pharmacy in El Dorado. They drag their feet and arent really willing to work with you. Came the pharmacy twice in less that 24 hours to get my pain medication for a shoulder/ back injury and ended up having to get my employer involved just to get my needed pain meds
Woohoo... Closeout... Mmmm. Like music for my soul. Wally World may rollback prices, but theyll never make me leap for joy complete with side kick foot clap right there in the aisle. Not every Dillons is alike, however. Some (inferior) Dillons will mark an item Closeout and only chop the price down by a few cents, causing me to loudly exclaim Daggummit Cheryl, these aint true Closeout Prices!! The El Dorado (pronounced El Dough-RAY-Dough - dont ask me why) Dillons never breaks my heart, or my wallet.
Fresh produce with excellent customer service.
Very disappointed in the pharmacy delivery system.
Dillons discriminates against people with medical conditions that makes wearing masks impossible. The fact that I was told that if I didnt have one on in the store if a manager caught me I would be throwsout. I pointed out that there were other people in the store without masks. The girl at the door informed me, they just hadnt been caught and thrown out yet.I dont live in a communist country and wont spend my money in a store that their employees threaten me.
Always friendly and helpful
The staff here are the best. I was stuck in El Dorado with nowhere to go and they allowed me to sit in front of the store until I received money via western union. I thank and appreciate them so much.
It’s pretty sad when the checker can’t even put your bags in the basket and stands with hands in her pocket watching you
The manager discriminated behind my back against my 3 month old service dog in training because he was barking at people. I over heard the manager say to an employee who checked my Service Dog ID Thats not a real service dog. Service dogs dont bark at people. Puppies and service dog in training bark at people, get over it! I wish the manager kicked us out so I can sue Dillons!
For the most, our Dillons is a pretty darn good store!! Some staff could improve on being a bit more polite. But most are really good! I think Stacy at the gas pump place is simply AWESOME! She always has the sweetest smile and very kind!
This place is a joke! Go to Walmart people. Staff is rude and they are way more expensive than Walmart . As a former employee I can tell you not to buy any cooked food there.
The Hispanic woman thats the manager there is AWESOME. She was very helpful and friendly. I only wish that her great personality would rub off on the cashiers. They were very very rude and have no care for customer service
Friendly and convenient. The employees really care. I was buying soup and crackers for my sick wife and came up a dollar some short in my rush. One of the employees paid for me! Dillons will always get my business. Outstanding customer service.
A great store to shop at. Their produce is always fresh when I shop, the meat department has good prices and they have so much of everything in the grocery line. Plus their advertised and unadvertised prices are outstanding.
Brightly lit. Well organized. Special pricing on things I typically purchase. Can earn fuel points for cents off gas for my car. Produce is always clean & fresh. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
My experience for today when I went in at 9:30 pm knowing they close at 10pm I went in and out (was at home by 9:55) The lady that was closing today 4/7/20 was complaining the entire time about customers waiting last minute to buy stuff saying they needed to get out, complaining she had to have everyone out by 1015 at latest. She wasnt letting people use the other 2 scanners of the 4 because she had already cleaned them and closed them (she opened them back when the line got backed up). The whole atmosphere was dull and was angering people. I get her anger but maybe she needs to start opening instead of closing and complaining to her supervisor instead of the customers.
Very great deals and promotions. The pharmacy is the best in town and the gas prices are always great. I love the amount of options in products you have to choose from. The hot food is a safe bet for lunch as well.
Decent selection of, well, pretty much everything you could need for a weekly grocery visit. Produce is kept fresh, natural goods are nearby. Acceptable hot and cold lunch options.
Great quality store. Love their produce, meat, and Chinese kitchen. I dont shop here for routine items though because their prices are higher than Walmart.
I love Dillons but today in the self checkout, a guy was really rude. I needed something taken off my order and he wasnt nice at all. What happened to good customer service ?
This Dillions store has some the absolute best employees from the top down. Produce is always fresh and if you have any issues they are great to help! The meat department is always up on its game and the staff are good to help to find that perfect protine for your next meal. The checkout staff are always friendly and kind.
Good selection for small town store. Includes salad bar and prepared foods, bakery and pharmacy. Friendly personnel, dont always have all items in stock.
El Dorado Dillons is clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We shop there daily.....sometimes several times in one day. Our only disappointment is that items we purchase regularly are often no longer carried and we have to drive out of town. We are gluten-free and dairy free and it is difficult to purchase what we need when it is no longer stocked. When we ask for those items to return we are told it wont happen. Would we rather do all our shopping at our local store? Of course! However, we have no choice but to drive to Wichita.
Take the time to down load the digital coupon app. I saved $94 on todays visit and had a cart full when I left the store! I am so super stoked!
Easy to get around. Found everything. Got help in the meat department. Great Boneless Ribs! Cashier greated me and was helpful with glass bowls I bought. Much better than my Andover experience.
I love dillons!! Such friendly staff. They know us, when we go in they actually make comments about us, like they really know us and pay attention!! Its really awesome
Its the only place in town that I buy my produce.....love it. Always fresh and well stocked.
Very pleasant smaller-town grocery store. Clean, well-lit, orderly, attractive, with meticulously arranged displays. A little more expensive than Walmart but worth it for the much better experience. Better at carrying premium brands (when I cook quality counts!) than Walmart but gradually phasing out many preferred products for Kroger brand, which I avoid. Nice staff will bend over backwards to help. Very good produce. Notably good meat department with excellent product and a butcher staff that is very willing to help with special requests.
Today my mother and I went to the deli and Charlie (I think was his name) helped us. He was very professional, and got us our order quickly! He deserves a raise :)
If you use the self check out count your change or cash back! The machine shorted my change, but cashier Liz was quick to make it right! Great customer service!
Went to buy a money order for $2, paid for it, then put it in a plastic bag. Then had to find a restroom, and since most are in back of store, I headed that way. Then I asked a guy who was working therewhere restroom was. He said up front, in the corner. I went, and when I was leaving, the store managerErica, took my bag, after accusing me of theft, ripped the bag open, and gave back my recipt, and money order. Thanks for tteating me like a criminal over a plastic bag.I gave up my dillons card, because I dont intend going back there again. Will be taking all my buisness to Wal-Mart everytime from now on.And if for not having to mark at least 1 star they wouldnt get any stars on the review. The store manager need some real help!
Great customer service and great prices. Love the fuel points to help curb the price of gas.
Im a try to call corporate about it because Im not leaving it on here its a waste of my time
Dillons on Central and Rock is consistently good while the Dillons in El Dorado often overcooks some hot foods. Chicken gizzard and liver from the steam table are a good example . I drive through El Dorado almost every day and one day the gizzards are great, but too often way overcooked!
Fresh foods, good prices, love earning fuel points on every purchase!
I love shopping at Dillons I was at the Eldorado store and I prefer Augusta just letting you know gave it 4 stars Augusta I give five
The Chinese kitchen is terrible at this store. The employees who work there close up early everyday and have lame excuses as to why there’s no Chinese food at 3PM or 4 PM or 5 PM. There is one guy who works in this area who is snarky when asked about the lack of food or if the food is present it has been in the warmer way too long, or they lack a decent selection. It is pathetic Dillons has a big banner on the front of the store advertising the “Chinese Kitchen” however it is open very minimal hours. I have lived in several other towns in Kansas and the El Dorado Dillons is by far the worst I’ve ever been to.
Everyone was friendly they always help you if you cant find a certain item.
Good luck finding a manager after 5pm
The self check girl Mickey is such a sweet gal. Which all the workers were as sweet.
Its a good place to shop! They usually always have what you need and the employees do a good job
Best small dillons. Bigger ones are in Wichita. Not bad for a small town
Even on one of the busy days to shop I was able to get in and out quickly, I wasnt buying much this visit, lol.
They are all very helpful and good personalities. Not pretentious.
Great customer service & friendly staff that is always willing to help you find what you need.
Convenient but most of the management are non-existent and the employees are not friendly, at least not most.
This Dillons is fine for most items. Be aware of expiration dates. Ive had issues with Daiya cheese, yogurt, and even frozen Applegate chicken nuggets from an alternate Dillons in south Newton, KS which was a year old! And living in podunkville, it isnt worth returning the items to the store. Lesson learned! Check the dates.
Close to where I live, open till midnight like to use self check out employees are helpful & nice
Great deals, good customer service and doesnt take forever to checkout!
Nice employees all speak to you or ask if you need help.
A little more expensive than Wal-Mart but has a lot more friendly and more of a home town atmosphere.
Good pricing. Fresh fruit and vegetables arent always the best.
Well I went to go checkout at the lane at where my girlfriend works to give her a lil surprise of me coming to visit her while she checks me out. Then this lady with a very rude attitude comes up and says she cant check me out due to family reasons. This is utterly trash and I felt very displeased with the staff and the supervisors that would hire such a disrespectful woman.
Good produce at good prices and meat department is second to none
A great experience dealing with kind employees and shoppers while here
I love Dillons,such good sales!
When you buy two hundred in groceries and the sacker sacks your groceries and doesnt ask or carry them out. Kids need training in your store. And we do alot of business there in july
The friendly staff, clean location and varied products make shopping easy.
Great customer service! Even the customers, on that day at
Decent size dillions they have every thing I need tho and a very friendly work team.
I went in for a fruit tray and they were out so they need to plan better for busy holiday rush
Awesome people, great produce, meat, & deli areas. Always willing to answer questions, or help!
Dillons has a wide variety of food at reasonable prices.
It was Awesome as usual....Love Cathy to peices....
They have the best chicken sandwich in town plus best ingredients
Good prices
Not very helpful do not know their own store or where to find things. Cashier was unfriendly
Ok for a small store. Couldnt find some stuff Im used to buying at the bigger stores.
Got everything I needed, quick and easy.
Its Dillons... do like the new flower/fresh produce section
Easy to find what you need, clean environment, friendly staff.
Convenient, can always find what I need.
If you like doing business with unkempt wierdos with rivets and fishing tackle stuck in their faces, this is the place for you!
After visiting many other Dillons locations in the area, the El Dorado store is hands down the worst one. The staff is rude, unhelpful or unable to give basic customer service from the management and customer service desk to the deli. The pharmacists in the pharmacy department are the best in town however the clerks that work in that department are also rude. The deli staff is completely useless. The stock clerks are not bad and neither are the butchers. The cashiers and management are way too chatty for my taste and what is worse is if you dont make conversation back to them they will be rude to you every other time after that you visit the store. One manager said hello to me once and since then every time Im in the store he follows me around. I had to call the Dillons main customer service number to complain about him twice until he finally stopped. They dont have any sort of a range of items in stock. For example they are the only supermarket Ive ever visited that doesnt stock tofu, and they dont even sell common items such as creamed spinach. They have a form you can fill out to order a specific product with a box to drop it into but the box may as well be a trash bin. I filled out a form 5 times and have yet to receive the item I ordered until I finally gave up and went to Andover to buy it. If you are in El Dorado and are in need of groceries do yourself a favor and go to Walmart.
Small store but good selection.
Great remodel. Great selection of flowers
The people are very friendly and very helpful.
Alittle more expensive than Walmart
Stopped on way to funeral. Very nice
Good sales nice and friendly people!
Very helpful and courteous employees.
The service is always fast and easy
Clerk was very efficient and friendly.
Nice store, but disappointed they didnt have large quantities of soup or chili for sale.
Best meat department in area.
Ez to fuel up if your pulling an Rv
Food fresh and staff friendly
Deli sucks balls dont go there go to wallmart
Is in out people are freindly
Love 10 for $10 and meat!
Very well designed store
Its okay, but low end of surrounding Dillons.
Fast and friendly check out
Local grocery! Awesome!👍
