If you’re looking for spices, srilankan frozen food, fresh curry leaves loads of frozen goodies including shorteats, chutneys, and all sorts of wonders (hopper pans, clay pots etc) this is the place to go! Easy to park and the lady there is so sweet and helpful. It looks like a warehouse but there is a shop inside so ring the doorbell and prepare to get excited!

SRI LANKA 🇱🇰Eat the World NYC review:LakFood stocks an array of ingredients necessary for any Sri Lankan kitchen, as well as some homemade foods brought in on weekends. Since this visit took place on a Saturday, a case full fried fish and vegetable cutlets (rolls) were inviting, as well as the onion (seeni sambol) or fish filled triangular buns. In front of this case were single portions of lamprais, string hoppers, and chicken curry, all made in the same home and only available on Saturday and Sunday.

We were Missing our food for a while, but We are so happy to find this place. Great owner (that’s Srilankan) it was packed well and the service was great! Highly recommended to everyone,Thank you so much!

I have ordered grocery from lakfood online for many times during last few months, and I am more than satisfied with the service. Bottles, cans were bubbled wrapped nicely and shipments came in doubled boxed packages. My recent shipment took 2 days due to UPS  delay, but the frozen items were all in fresh condition due to the excellent packaging with ice packs. The item prices are very reasonable and staff is very friendly and helpful when call to inquire about items.Great job LakFood for your service! I am a very happy customer of yours!

Great spices. Snacks and food. Just want you need when you are far from your homeland. The Malu paan and the seeni sambol buns are delicious. A must have.

Great little Sri Lankan grocery shop, you can find most of Sri Lankan groceries there. Dont forget to try some of the Sri Lankan Street food that they have.

Specially for Sri Lankan food items. They have mutton and egg rolls also. Fish buns on weekends. It is our favourite. They have canned and packettted items also.
