Though it is a small location the staffing is not good at this location on top of them being rude.There is always someone screaming obnoxiously loud from the cashier line to get people to go to self checkout.In my last visit, I informed an employee that the self checkout machine I was using was going to run out receipt paper soon, she shrugged her shoulders and gave me attitude. Needless to say the service is very poor here.I placed a pickup order here and they canceled it because they did not have the item, and still charged me for it.This target is convenient and close to my house but I will not be coming back here.Ultimately, I am disappointed, Do better!

Very small target compared to Westbury and does not sell the same items. Best to check the target app for items at this location before heading out to the store.

On March 13 2017 my wife went to purchase items in anticipation for the storm. Almost everything was expired or close to expired. I understand this couldve been avoided before leaving the store by simply checking the expiration date before leaving, but selling items that expired in February when its now half way thru March is ridiculous!

I love Target it has a little bit of everything I need.

I like this store as it saves me time to travel to valley stream. Hours are convenient and staff is very polite and helpful.

Very busy cafe with great food and efficient (dont worry about the lines)! We had one issue when all of our food came except for one of us. When we asked they brought it out right away and later John came over with a free piece of their famous bread pudding. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Thanks John! Great service.

It’s OK. Now we came here for nerf guns. We were pretending that there was a zombie apocalypse. It turns out there was only one. The rest being ammo. Then we wanted games so we went to the toy section and there was only around two shows of games. It’s understandable since it’s a small target store.

Usually go to the self check out but due to difference in prices online and in store I ended up going to a cashier. Regret it ! I would have much rather paid more for the product than deal with the rudeness that my cashier displayed. Making faces at customers and your tone of voice matters . I don’t get why you have a customer service job but clearly hates it. I was not being rude at all and it’s sad that target is represented by some really unqualified and mean people

I brought bottles there and one of the ladies started screaming and she didnt want to cash out the bottles. She did some and then told the other cashier to do the rest. HORRIBLE SITUATION.

It’s alright, it’s often lacking on products I guess because they’re smaller and don’t carry a whole lot. It’s good for getting little basic things and if you can use self-checkout, it’s often better than going to the register. I think the staff is also lacking as well because if you need help they’re often nowhere to be found or takes them a minute to come over to self checkout even if they’re just standing there doing nothing...

The registers and self checkouts are so close together! On a regular day, multiple people with shopping carts find it very challenging to navigate with their grocery purchases. Now, in the middle of a pandemic, those registers are causing people to bump into each other and potentially spread the COVID-19 pathogen. The floors are marked with 6ft stickers for people on line, but once someone approaches the counters, that 6ft of social distancing is GONE. This is unacceptable! It it an easy fix, too! Remove the aisle, push the self check-outs apart, and have the line travel further down the walkway towards the beauty products. You will lose a little floor space, but thats a small price to pay for the safety of your customers. Plus, nobody is buying fancy clothes anyway since were all at home. Fix it!

This is a good place to get small things that you need. They have a little bit of everything in this mini-target. That being said its a mini target it wont have everything you want from larger targets. Its very convenient for a quick stop for milk or some beauty items. If you want to make sure this target has what youre looking for go online or download the app, then you can filter it by what is in stock! Super easy!

If you need customer service it is not that good because they all stand around the Starbucks talking. One of the workers buzzed for someone to come help me in the tech department three time, my wife was shopping and standing on check out line of a total of 45 to 50 minutes because the check cashing line was long. That is how long I stood in tech department for eating for service that never came.

This Target is the pits. The aisles constantly have boxed items left on pallets in the middle of walkways. Staff is pretty much uncaring. Tonight they crammed everyone into the check out area as a line was forming. Staff was barking following guest to get people to the registers. Carts clogging up the narrow walkway by the registers. Tonight I was struck in the elbow by an irate customer with a cart trying to navigate this area that prompted an argue that the security... err..: shrink prevention, Kevin, and some millennial with bushy hair and glassy (no name tag) snickered at instead of stepping in to cool heads. At least the cashier asked if I was okay.Its the closest Target to me and I will only go here from now on if there is no other option.

Clean, friendly, fast checkout

I was able to go in and out of the store with no issues. It has what I need.

Quick and easy shopping. The staff that are there are helpful, but they need to hire more front end employees. 1, maybe 2 during a good shift, cashiers doesnt cut it even with self check out.

Big store. Ample check out and self check out counters. Always well stocked and clean. Staff members are very helpful and will escort you to items that you are looking to purchase.

Target has all the products I need for my day to day activities. this target is also in a pretty good location, so it is great for quick trips. i also like the idea of the free charging booth and the self checkout stations.

Twice Ive visited this and I almost always have a hard time during checkout. The space is very limited, an exiting customer cant leave the checkout area say if two carts are taken up on both self-checkout and regular checkout. No one helped when the mirror I was purchasing dropped. Thankfully it didnt shatter. And, the cashier let me leave without the paper plates I paid for. This is the closest to me while I was running errands. I will not return. I REALLY wanted to love this target. I just cant come back here anymore.

This Target opened a few months ago and is already pretty popular. Its a lot smaller than the usual target (more like a target mini) but seems to have at least one aisle for every department you usually find in the bigger locations. Its very clean and well-kept and even has a starbucks! A good location if you need to stop for something specific/essential and cant make the trip to the bigger Target thats much further away.

This location has a wonderful grocery dept with lots of variety. I wish it had more toys and clothes. Overall, its a fun place to shop, if you only need the basics.

The customer service was quick and helpful

Horrible service. Waited 30 minutes for curbside pickup and still did not come out. I went in they said they would get it and didnt know what happened. When the guy came out he did not load the car he waited for me to load the car. I have been to many targets and by far this is the worst one never going back to this one.

Sat 11:00am.. the store is filled with pallet, aisle are blocked by boxes, some cant even be excessesed with stroller. This gotta be the worst Target I ever been. They need to organise starting from the top with management or team leader.

Purchased a video game from this Target. Got home and there was a blank DVD inside the sealed case. Went back to get an exchange or refund and was denied. Im currently seeking legal counsel to handle this situation. Be careful when buying video games for your kids this season check the packaging.

The employees are very rude and disrespectful. They talk about its customers with other employees right next to them. They don’t like to help their customers. They act as you owe them something.

The self checkout machines are too often out of order. Takes too long to get one or 2 items because of that. Disappointed. Kill the small format if this is how it has to work. Based on the positive reviews, doubtful that itll change anytime soon if at all.

More like a convenient store than a department store due to size and limited selection.Why is the food and pharmaceutical items cost more than at regular Targets? Better off going to the regular Targets like Westbury or Valley Stream

Super small with only one dressing room. Been here 3x. Each time, getting someone to open the dressing room takes 3 different people and more time than it takes to just drive home without buying anything. Also no one to get you another size, and if you leave the room to get it yourself youre locked out. Last time I bought my items without even trying it on because it took so long to get someone with a key. Big mistake. An associate told me its because they are concerned about stealing ... seems a better option would be to have a dressing room attendant. Better to go to a few stores over to Marshalls or to the mall.

This place is not only cute but it has everything I need, and no elevators or stairs. It even has CVS, my favorite pharmacy in it! A one floor wonder.

Went into this location today and had the WORST experience I have ever had in any Target location. I dont even care that I sound like a middle aged woman with nothing better to do with my day. That little girl ash in the front is disgustingly rude and should not be employed in this store. She was walking around with the most unwelcoming face not even introducing herself to the customers in front of me that needed help. She walked over, to one couple, pushed a few buttons on the screen like every time she touched the screen a little piece of her soul was dying, then walked away without saying anything. The older couple was still lost and had to figure it out on their own. Then when i unfortunately had the displeasure of walking up to her register to ask some questions about the price match she simply told me no its not here and rolled her eyes giving off the vibe that I should go F myself and provided no further assistance. If I ever walk into this establishment again and I see her in the store I am turning around and walking out. How she was hired I have no idea but this sad obnoxious excuse for a customer service employee is ridiculous. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to not come here its not worth it.

MINI Target. It should be label as it, because if you dont know, you go there expecting a big Target where you would find everything but that is not the case!!

Company feels bc it’s a smaller store then can only have about 2,3 employees on a shift at a time, it’s honestly not the workers fault bc they’ll be helping someone, while other people have to wait long times to be assisted, store needs more man power.....just go to Walmart, you won’t have these similar issues.

This is a small Target with limited inventory and the aisles are frequently blocked with carts or pallets waiting to be put onto the shelves. Lots of damaged merchandise in the aisles too.

Perfect if you are in the Elmont area close to the Belmont racetrack. Otherwise, dont go too far to reach this location as I find there stock limited.

Able to find products I like for a good price.

It is basically half a target. Sort of like TJ Maxx and Target had a child, this would be it. Smaller than any target i have seen before and not in the best neighborhood. Someone was panhandling for money inside the store. Not planning on coming back.

This Target, albeit convenient, is always a mess. There are always uboats full of incoming products be shelved all over the place. There are always carts full of products to be shelved within the aisles making shopping an obstacle course . The self checkout is 40/60, waiting for the one cashier to delete or enter any item with an unrecognizable sku could take longer than waiting on the line. Grumblings regarding staff members is audible and annoying. There are never enough carts. The workers are super super apathetic. Only the pharmacy and the Starbucks are crushing it for this location.

This has got to be the most ignorant establishment from management down to unhappy employees Ive ever been to in my life. I live 10 minutes away but just because of service I will travel 30 to 45 minutes out of my way. With all the TM on the floor no one is ever available even when you press the call boxes. Ive worked in retail all my life and this is beyond ridiculous. And the Starbucks even worse. Cant wait to write the letter to official target and starbucks. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

It was our fault for not doing much research about this store, we saw Target on Google maps and headed over to find a video game. We were quite surprised to see that this Target was a mini! The store itself was cute, they really only have super common items so dont expect to find any treasures here (we learned that after the fact). The staff was not welcoming or helpful at all. We asked the woman working in the electronics if they had a game in stock as we did not see it.. you would think we asked her to climb mount Everest. She briefly looked on computer and said no and walked away. The cashier was miserable and didnt say a word. The store is fine if you use the self checkout and you know exactly what you want but dont bother asking for any help lol

What most people do not know is that the whole concept of this Target is for it to not be as big as the ones we usually see in your typical suburban shopping center. It is all part of Targets new urban center format stores that started out in neighborhoods in the city such as TriBeCa to put more of a focus on what the community and surrounding area may need. Target then moved on to look to find neighborhoods on Long Island to expand their small format store concept and chose Elmont as one out of two of the places they wanted to build this new model. You have all that you would find in a normal Target but just in smaller sections with no full electronics, lawn/patio section due to the size of the store. You still have the same aisles along with a grocery section. Its very nice of Target to pick Elmont as one of the towns to test their new model which goes to show the area is continuously developing and on its way to becoming a trendy place to be and for a fairly recently new store, I say the staff is doing a pretty good job keeping it organized and well stocked. And the Starbucks adds to its small charm as well.

This Taget is small but usually has everything Im looking for. I have noticed that some of the prices in this Target are higher in the one by Green Acres Mall. Not sure why that is but appreciate the convienance and proximity of this one!
