You always hace to check the expiration dates on everything you buy, they always have expired stuff on the shelves, in the refrigerators, it use to be once on awhile, it has become way to common now smh.

Ive been Shopping At Western Beef Since I was Teenager And The people are very nice Every Body Knows Me I Even know The Manager.

Very very clean, people is nice, I dont think theres a customer restroom. All kinds of Delicious Fruits, if you go between the hours of 2p and 5p it gets very crowded, Yes you can park in the lot, not that big.

A well organized supermarket. Has a variety of products from within the US and international also. Prices are also good and they have frequent sales which I love

The cashier was very helpful he got the Blu seltzer from the shelf for me. I just wanna say to the cashier: Thank you so very much for helping me out with the seltzer water. And I also wanna say to the guy : Thank you so very much for bagging my stuff for me and putting them in the cart for me 🙂

I enjoyed my experience coming here for the first time. The store is neat, clean and everything seemed to be very organized. The produce/deli food there tastes fresh. I went on a weekday and there wasnt a crowd, which was nice. I easily browsed through the sections. The prices are also very reasonable given that there has been a surge in price increase. The bread also tastes very fresh!

I went to this place for the first time and my experience was awful. After waiting about 10 minutes for someone to come to the butcher to take care of customers, this guy comes and takes care of me. I cant believe that after he finish cutting the piece of meat that I requested he asked me for a TIP $$$ are you serious? I consider myself a good tipper when I feel I had received a good customer service. He had the nerve to asked me for tip in front of other people that was there. I was extremely nice to give him a few dollars (which probably I shouldnt do) he didnt even say thank you probably he thought I didnt give him enough for a piece of meat he cut. It was a horrible experience.

This is a hidden jem...they had the freshest green apples today. Bread was smelling so delicious. They have alot of Caribbean items as well. I will be back.

This store is known for its fresh and plentiful produce, and on site butcher. It did not disappoint. Lots of variety and was able to get in and out fast, which is not usual.

Plenty of choices, specially if you need that Caribbean taste in your dinners or snacks. Covid has made many prices go up, but this place still maintains decent prices for the most mart. They have parking all around the mart but most ppl have blinders on N only park in the front.

Very good supermarket for ethnic ingredients and meat. Parking lot gets crazy. I only visit early mornings on weekdays.

Clean and well-organized with a nice selection. Get there early before the crowds and youll be in and out quickly and wont have to fight for parking.

Stocking merchandise should be done after hours, or employees stocking should leave space for shoppers to walk in isles easily.

If I could give negative stars I would. The fresh fish section is a complete joke! Even the fish labeled fresh isnt fresh and western beef is misleading their customers!! Spent $35 on seafood that went right in the trash! Such a waste of money! My recommendation, this place is a hard pass!!

I love their produce. They have reasonable prices & great fresh bread.

The staff that we encounter are usually nice; the cashiers especially. Prices are within our budget and items we shop for are usually stocked. Our only issue is having to figure out the sale sign riddles... Sometimes the sale sign above the items and the small yellow sale tabs below the items dont coincide leaving it a bit confusing for us as customers to be sure of which items are actually discounted. Additionally, we have had to make 2 different trips to return expired items. We do hope these improvements are made so we can continue shopping here If not we will begin comparing other locations to see which is a better fit for us.

I like this Western Beef because it is usually very well organized. There is a butcher available to get best cuts. Some good sales! Parking lot is usually congested no matter what time of day or day of the week but a spot opens up pretty quickly. Bread is awesome !! Baked on the premises!!

Smaller grocery store than Im use to but it worked for what I needed to get. I really liked the meat section separate from the rest of the store and that there was cold bottled water stored in there. My cashier was not professional and used the word damn in front of myself, my young child, and the elderly customer ahead of me. She was engaging in a conversation with the cashier working the next cash register over, talking about how she had another job serving bottles, and how grown she was at the adult age of 18. Save that for a conversation off the floor.

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM THIS STORE. Several times purchased meat and when I got home and opened the package it smelled like something had died. The meat was rotten. I then had to get back in my car and drive 25 min to return. NEVER again will I buy meat from WB. They need to be reported to Board of Health. Read your labels very carefully as they also have expired food on the shelves. Id rather pay more elsewhere and get quality food and meat. I work to hard to buy ROTTEN MEAT that could cause you to get very ill. You are taking your chances shopping here.

The supermarket used to be carrying high quality meat with reasonable prices. Since they upgraded the store meat quality is not the same and the prices are ridiculously high for small packages. I rather spend the amount they asking for at BJS because the meat quality is fantastic.

There are lots of options to choose from; its always been one of my favorite places to shop. The store has been nicely updated, and you can always find a great price deal. I especially like their 3 for $10.00 specials when they run them.

I enjoy shopping in the supermarket the only thing I dislike in the bakery they need to up grade their breads remove the hard stale breads when I was in Florida in the bakery department they constantly remove the hard stale breads & put fresh bread from the oven, otherwise everything is great

DO NOT buy meat from here!!! Recently bought chicken from here and when I opened the packaging it had a funny smell. Had to throw out both family packs of chicken and it was very costly. Looking at the other reviews this seems to be a constant issue with this place. Good luck if you buy meat from here.

Very nice western beef

Western Beef in its latest iteration has brightened up the store, have actual automatic doors to its classic refrigerator room where the deli is located. Gone are the days of plastic flaps lazily sliding over your body, and that ever present smell of bad meat. Western beef continues to carry all your super market needs complete with a good collection of west Indian and latino specific goods. They have a great bakery selection. The parking lot is not designed by anybody who has ever touched foot in an civil engineering school. However its refreshing to see this supermarket make an earnest attempt at competition against Stop and Shop.

Overall good deals. Be care with meat and poultry purchases. This place is known to remove expiration dates off of items. Saw some lime juice being sold with the expiration date 12/28/18. Perishable items, BEWARE. JUST BUY BREAD AND CANNED GOODS AND NOT MUCH ELSE.

Compared to what it used to be when I was a kid, the upgrades look great. Store is well stocked (but if its on sale you should go sooner than later), staff is helpful and responsive. If you can shop during the week its less crowded. The produce area is open and clean. The aisles however always seem crowded with product that is going to be stocked. Theres also a section near the cash registers and managers office that is also crowded with product which continues to be an ill use of space. Folks bump into each other here or bottleneck trying to get back to the registers. Registers never seem to be at full capacity so lines can be long.

Not full and fully stocked. They are also having items on sale unlike a lot of local supermarkets. I will continue to patronize this location.

If I can I will zero start i bought some chiken and the chicken has a bad smell i though maybe when I cook is different so I try to cook it but the smell still bad I have to throw it in the garbage so be careful when you buy there

Great place to get food

Bad produce, look nice on the outside but molded and rotten on the inside. And they keep the baby food next to very strong cleaners and detergents. Whoever is in charge should go take a look at Stop & Shop and take some pointers from there.

Better pricing, cleaner store and more items on sale, I guess the store is under new management. New slogan and new facade. Its worth the trip.
