Excellent place. I was greeted with a smile once I walked in. Eric, Denise and Doug all helped me find a space. Im currently moving and with all the stress that comes with moving, they made it stress-free by making sure my things are secure. Especially with the insurance. I refuse to rent anywhere else but here!

I have been using Extra Space in Elmont for years and have always had the best experience. Both Eric and Denise always make sure that my move-ins and move-outs are smooth and seamless. I had an amazing experience at this establishment today. Eric helped us with everything we needed to move. He helped us to work with the U-haul company across the street, and got us the perfect storage room for our belongings. He even joked around with us and made us feel comfortable.I recommend anyone that is looking for a storage place in the area to use this establishment.

So after a terrible rodent infestation experience with Safeguard Storage, I was fortunate enough to find Extra Space Storage just a mile or so away. After scouting out this location, my fears were quickly put to rest after speaking with their friendly and knowledgeable staff.First off, the manager, Eric, is super helpful, friendly and customer focused. He addressed my concerns and questions and gave me a great price on my unit.The rest of the staff are great too, the facility is clean, climate controlled, easily accessible, and most importantly to me, rodent free.I highly recommend renting a unit at Eric’s location. They definitely go the extra mile to keep their customers happy.

I’ve have had a lot of experiences from different storage locations but the Elmont location is the best with all the workers always ready and available to assist with smiles on their faces just makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. Also always smells amazing and clean, it honestly doesn’t get better than this location.

I’ve been using this Extra Space Storage for approx 3-4 years now. I love the staff. The facility is clean. I haven’t had any bad experiences with rodents or bugs. I also don’t store anything that would attract them. I’ve used Extra Space for both work and for personal use and I’m satisfied with the service every time.Eric, the manager, always makes sure that I have what I need when moving in and moving out. The staff is equally helpful and always make themselves available.I’ve used other storage facilities in this area and never get the same level of service. I am a dedicated loyal customer and only use Extra Space, no matter what city I’m in.

What a difference a day makes. The storage place is clean and well kept. I have another storage space at this location. The service was exceptional with Eric and team. I had to go in to get my second space and the gentleman (I use that very loosely) asked me if the lady i was with the lady that was already being helped. He never introduced himself, walked really fast and far ahead of me to the elevator then started yelling right this way. I explained that I have a bad ankle and I cant walk as fast. He said people say I walk slow instead of correcting his behavior. Then I had to follow his voice to my storage location once off the elevator. He very abruptly open the space then walked away. I wanted to ask a question but he was already condescending in his responses. I waited for the young lady to come back. After about 5 minutes waiting there. He said and youre waiting for what. Thank goodness the young lady came back. Note to self wait for someone else. Ive never been treated so rudely. He shouldnt walk with people.

Listennnnn! This place is AMAZING. I came here on Wednesday, fleeing an abusive and tiring relationship, to unload my stuff. I was sad, annoyed, tired and every other emotion that you can think of. But Jason of Extra Space Storage Elmont was RELENTLESS with the jokes. I didn’t think anyone could put a smile on my face that day. He was kind, expeditious, and efficient. Everyone in the building greeted me and my family upon arrival and gave us all the information we needed. Now fast forward to Thursday, I’m still in a fog from all of the events that have happened to me in the last 24 hours. I left my unit open with the lock right outside of it! Someone from Extra Space Storage called me and asked me if I had been there and I told them yes and they locked it back up for me and put my keys to the side for me to pick up today. So thoughtful. So kind. I’m thankful for the staff here and their endless dedication to amazing customer service. Not all angels have wings. 10/10, highly recommend.
