Destin and Steve helped us get the deal we were looking for and got us in and out quickly! All the staff we encountered were amazing! Will definitely return here for all future vehicle needs! I highly recommend giving them a call!!
The service department was unable to fix my problem. The sales manager, Chris Larkin, was condescending while trying to explain that my radio was working. When, in fact, it was not working. At one point he had me read out loud to him what GM had provided to him that described how the radio should work. Because he was ignorant of how the radio should work he treated me like a small child.
We were traveling from out of state . my truck said it was time for an oil change. We told the service dept and they went out of their way to help us and promptly got us on the road. Very nice people
Great customer service! I had an early morning appointment. When I dropped my car off and explained what was going on Chris listened to what I had to say and asked further questions to help get an idea of what they were looking at. I drove from Kansas City and plan to keep my business with them if I ever need additional assistance! Thanks Longbine!
It was a fast good experience. I was surprised at how smoothly purchasing my new truck went.
Very professional and friendly people they made me feel like I was one of there owns, thank you
Longbine are great! Went to a shop with F in the name and they quoted an insane price. We were given money for it from a settlement, and we were going through with it. My wife called and they kept giving her the run around. Not sure if it was because they did not want to fix our car, or if they have a problem with females. Went to Longbine instead, and the price was way cheaper. They gave us a free recent year loaner, and fixed it fast. I also bought my car from Longbine, as they had the best deal and pushed to get us the best price.
Great place to do business. Was in the office for maybe a total of 30 minutes and that includes some small talk.Destin was the associate who assisted me and was very good at keeping me in the loop from start to finish.Over all I enjoyed the buying experience.
Went in for a recall. Told them I’d like to find out why the check engine light was on. They told me it would only take an hour or two. Had to call at the end of the day to ask if I could have my car back so I could pick my kids up. They said the mechanic hadn’t figured out why the engine light was on. I said well I need my car by 4 so guess I don’t need to know that bad. They picked me up at 4 to drive me to dealership. Got there and was told the recall sensor fixed the check engine light. So did they wait to look until I called or what? Left and two days later my engine light is back on. So obviously that recall sensor didn’t fix it. I’ll take it somewhere else to figure out why it’s on. Everyone was nice but not impressed
I love the level of service here! Everyone was very helpful. Thank you!
Scott and his team at the body shop did an AMAZING JOB!!! My truck looks brand new. The customer service was out of this world!
Highly recommend!! Scott and his team did a fantastic job repairing my 2017 corvette grand sport
Got the job done on time Quick and efficient. Pick up and delivery of the vehicle is a big plus. Definitely will go back.
Destin N. made the experience of buying a car smooth and painless as possible, and took care of the small details. Laid-back atmosphere. Appreciate their help!
I love them to death when you go nowhere else. Even bought a vehicle at a different dealer because they didn’t have some thing available when I need it ASAP but they are my mechanic for every Chevy I own
Amazing and fast work! Always satisfied with their service.
Charles, Destin, and Steve made my buying experience the best Ive ever had at a dealership. Great communication with fast, friendly service They more than met my expectatons. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to them. Thanks again guys!
Not only did I buy my vehicle from them; but they also do a great job at repairs when needed. Services were quick, flexible with payment options, and affordable! I will definitely be going to them again for any repairs I might need in the future! Thank You!!
I really appreciate Chris Larkin keeping me up to date and checking on things in a detailed manner for me during my emergency. Especially working around the unexpected utility shut downs and other emergencies happening because of the extreme cold temperature. The rest of the staff has also always been very friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you to all!
Steve, Alex and Jay were absolutely awesome!! My elderly parents were upside down on their lease car. Not only did the team help us out of that mess, they also got my parents into a 2019 Buick Encore. Loving Longbines customer service, especially their patience when we drove 5 or 6 different vehicles! I felt at ease the whole time. Highly recommend. #shoplocal
Great job Longbine Service Department. Service experience was excellent! Thank you.
I had many things done to my car. It was the first time in several years and vehicles that I replaced a battery. I got an education about the new more expensive AGM batteries. I also had questions about my bill that I planned to return to the dealership and ask the following day. Before I could do that the following day, I received a call from the dealership informing me that I had been overcharged. Although my bill was still larger than I had anticipated, I was happy to know that the overcharge had been noticed without my input.
Easy to schedule appointment.
Great experience. Staff was ready to go when I arrived. Information was easily explained. The time was reasonable in completion. In this time of covid I felt safe and secure going to them and waiting for my vehicle.
Everyone was nice and very helpful, I asked for a few things to be done, and they found a few more things wrong. So it turned out the corvette is now good for years to come.It was a few thousand more but i know im good to go. So from Billing, Shop manager to the Tecs, Thank you all very, very much, Rick Heacock
I had 2 issues with my truck. They were able to take care of both in a timely manner. I felt very comfortable with everything that they did. Now my truck runs like new. Very pleased with the service.
I drive from topeka to emporia for my Chevys just to avoid the lying salesmen at Ed bozarrh.
The service dept does a great job of updating you on the progress of the work.
The shuttle to and from work makes it so much easier for me to get my car in for routine maintenance.
Great service, great salesman Billy Renfro, great finance manager got me in and out quickly, and most of all it was a good price on both the Chevy Truck I bought and the trade in value for my Jeep.
I drive my 2011 2500HD Silverado from Topeka to have Longbine do all repairs and maintenance. Why? Because these people are straight up honest and keep their pricing within reach of your budget!!! I had an issue with my Trailer Brake System most recently. Chris Larkins worked with my trailer repair place in Topeka to get it working right. He went above and beyond to assist me.Bozarth Chevrolet wanted to charge me $2,900. to replace EGR Cooler Bypass Valve, Longbine did the same work for $1,300. Got my truck back all washed up and running like a champ!!!Thank you Chris, John and Scott!!! Love you guys!!!!Sincerely,Kim
Very courteous and willing to listen to me, went above and beyond to find a vehicle for me.
Friendly, up front service. No surprises as we were consulted prior to any work being completed.Worked well in conjunction with our extended warranty to have needed service taken care of. Thank you!
So, my experience with Billy and buying ther car was fantastic!! Then I took my car to the body shop due to some cosmetic damage from the car wash for a new paint job. My estimate said about 10 days to complete so after 17 days my husband called to check on it, was told by Scott it was done but needed a touch up on top but would be ready by the next day. That went on Monday, Tuesday, on Wednesday Im then told they had another truck in that needed painted, then on Friday I was frustrated hearing it again so hung up until Monday. Monday I was told by Scott it was ready. Went to get it, noticed all my little plastic pieces from interior of car was laying in my cup holder, irritating but they came out and corrected it. Got my car home and noticed I had no camero emblems put back on the car, and my spoiler was installed so poorly you could see the screws sticking up from the trunk, and my left mount was lifted off the car about an inch. Took the car back and after 2 more weeks and Scott saying they didnt paint the truck lid even though the car was there for a whole paint job, I got it back again with the emblems replaced and my spoiler, well its better then it was. Picked up the car went to car wash and realized they hadnt painted the back bumper either, and no one mentioned that so I called Scott again he said I could bring it back after the holidays, but I was done dealing with Scott for over 2 months, and him not doing what i was paying to be done, so I refused and asked him to refund my money so I can take it somewhere else to get corrected. Will not be bringing my vehicles back, I dont like being lied to. And through 2 months of this, no one ever called me to try and make it better, or apologize, nothing.
Went in and spent $1700 to have to take it back to figure out why it was leaking oil everywhere. Also they broke my OBDII port off the dash. The gentleman didnt seem to be so concerned about it as I was. Told him truck never leaked before and I get it back and now it is. He said we will look at it and decide if we are the one that caused the problem.
Really appreciate pick-up and delivery of my vehicle for service. Also striving to do the services well and on time.
BJ Tidwell was able to work me into the busy schedule. Kept me informed as to cost and scheduling of repair. Also, let me know of needed 50,000 mile maintenance.
Good first experience
Excellent experience!
Greeted me by name when I arrived. They got me checked in quickly & had a shuttle ready to take me to work. Everyone made me feel like a valued customer.
Love these guys! Ever since I bought my car years ago and even since I paid it off, they have never stopped making sure I was satisfied with my purchase! And they have top notch service techs that are friendly and helpful!
Great place to buy a vehicle.Friendly staff. The best mechanics. If you need a vehicle repaired ask for Jason M.He really is the best of the best.
Appointment was made promptly and Lorrie was very courteous.
We went looking at trucks. It was getting close to closing time but we were warmly greeted. We discussed what we had in mind and looked at some choices on the computer. Once we narrowed down the field we went outside. They were quite willing to setup a test drive but we arranged to return the next work day. They have a couple of nice choices to look at further. So we will be back.
Since we live 1.5 hours away we called in advanced and asked the salesman and asked if there were any dings, scratches, problem with the interior of the car we were interested in before we drove all that way to look at it. He called us back and said there was nothing wrong with the car. We drove all that way just to find out there was a large area of the middle seat where the finish of the leather seat was missing, there were several scratches, and the back hatch would not open or close!!!! We got several apologies, they called and apologized, but from the reviews I have read they are good about apologizing. This review would be different if they would have even offered to pay our gas since it was thier salesman that mislead us! We will not do business here and strongly do not recommend this dealership!
Chris over in the service department at the Chevy dealer, and his crew did a outstanding job! Helped my wife with a rental, told her which hotels were best when we had a blown transmission got it done quickly, and got her back home. Hands down best service we’ve ever had in a service department. I’d give this Chris guy, and his entire crew 100 stars! My hat goes to all these guys! Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!
Great Service
Longbine helped us buy our truck. Thank you James for all your help and to everyone for being so kind to us. One of the best dealerships we’ve been to.
The service dept worked really hard to get my car back to me by the end of the day this past Thursday, Aug 20. They only took 4 days to tear down the engine and replace all four pistons and rings. I brought it in on Friday morning and they said it had piston or ring problems on #3 cylinder. They had to wait for GM to give them the Go on Monday. I picked up the car at 6PM on Friday the 20th. Im sure the mechanic stayed late to get it done for me. A special thanks to the service dept, esp John and the mechanic and even James Sparks who kept abreast of the situation. Most sincerely,Jerry Laurendine
Longbine had my car for an entire month! There was minor body damage which was popped out door is still jared which allows mind to stream in and absolutely none of the mechanical issues were addressed. Longbine stated these were pre existing faults with my vehicle and they didnt not notice what I was talking about until my husband took them on a ride along and showed them.We are waiting to hear back, hopefully Longbine as a company makes this right.
I got a hold of my dealer who sold us the vehicle and he scheduled my maintenance for me and they came and picked up my vehicle and brought it back!!! I love that kind of customer service and would highly recommend Longbine Auto Plaza and my guy Billy Renfro to everyone!!!
My best friend bought his truck here, its a heck of a nice truck, i was with him during the deal and during the pick up of the vehicle. Really great transaction. A+
Polite, efficient., And I really like the waiting room.
The only gripe I might have is that 2 hours AFTER I left from my oil change, I got an email with a coupon for a reduced price on the oil change. It would have been nice to have that BEFORE the appointment but such is life.Overall they were terrific. Got me right in and out, very friendly and an overall good experience.
Quick honest very prof
Just as I expected. Professional service in a timely manor -thats why I continue to use Longbine Autoplaza for my automotive needs.
Good service good quality vehicles friendly atmosphere
It is not always about price.....When looking into purchasing a car from a dealership, there are many people behind the scenes (workers) who aid in your decision on which dealership to go with. This would be the case with Charles Davis at Longbine Auto Plaza. Due to his commitment to excellent customer service, the decision was made to purchase a car from this Chevy dealership over 3 others within a 300 mile radius. My decision was based upon the great overall customer service, I have experienced over last 15 years in their service department as well as the body shop. It had absolutely nothing to do with the sales manager. At the end of the day, I knew the service after the sale could not be beaten by another Chevy dealership.
I have always had great service here, from the moment I bought my car new to all service up keep on it. Every employee from sales to service has already been kind and respectful
Very polite and fixed the car in a timely manner.
Everyone is so nice they make the time to say hi and smile
Professional and worked great with my schedule!
Service was good. Only issue I had was the service boss got an attitude with my wife cause he wasnt informed but once the guy that knew what was going on showed up everything went great.
Great communication, friendly service.
I have never had such superior service when purchasing a vehicle. My salesman Edd Noonan went above and beyond my expectations. Edd made it super easy to trade vehicles for me. You have a keeper in salesman with Edd.
Darren did a great job finding the wiring issue with my vehicle
Weve had a couple issues with the service department. I travel frequently for work, to the tune of 30,000 miles a year.Last year the manufacturer recommended spark plug changes. They didnt have the correct spark plugs and contemplated not putting the non-GM kind in. They decided to put them in any way since I was leaving for Colorado pulling a trailer the following day. I ended up stopping in McPherson to get the correct plugs put in the next day because my truck was missing so bad I couldnt even go the speed limit. It wasnt that big of a deal, Longbine said they would pay the $400 repair bill I had at Midway in McPherson. They gave me a credit since I frequent there for oil changes. I jokingly - but not really - asked if it was going to be a deal where I go to get my oil changed and they have no record of my credit. They said, absolutely not. I was told just to come see him if anyone had any issues.I go in for my next oil change, the guy isnt there. I have a business partner take it in. He calls me saying they have no record of a credit there. I said, just pay it, Ill deal with it later because I had a trip to Kansas City planned the next day and I dont have time for it.After some investigating they called and said that they would just send a check so there is not another confusion. I was perfectly fine with that.Next issue I had a scheduled oil change and I told them I would have my business partner drop off the vehicle at 7 or 730. I was already over my oil change and had a business trip planned the following day. He dropped off my vehicle before they opened. Usually I would get a call with an update. In my business, if I have a client miss a schedule I call them shortly after the scheduled appointment to see if we need to reschedule. It was after lunchtime when I called to get an update. Meanwhile my business partner missed his lunch because he didnt have a vehicle. The guy was unaware we dropped it off while it was sitting there. It was a different guy than I was used to dealing with. The other guy seemed like he was always on his game.He said, Oh, Im sorry about that. Lets reschedule a time. I said, No Thanks and Ill have him come pick up the truck. We both received calls. He told them you should probably not be calling me to apologize, but him to apologize. I received a phone call and was told its water under the bridge and they will cover my next oil change. In my mind that wasnt really an apology. I told them No Thanks I already dropped my vehicle off in Kansas City for an oil change and got a loaner for the day. After going back to where I purchased my vehicle I will not be going back there.Ive always been torn since moving back to my home town from Kansas City and supporting our local businesses. I am about due for a purchase of a new vehicle and I wont be purchasing from Longbine. As I am not losing sleep over the issue and I am really not that upset, I still wont be going back. Its easier for me to have my original dealership call to schedule a time, drop it off, get my equivalent loaner, do my work and pick up my truck at the end of the day, have a detail included and a bottle of water sitting in my cup holder. I dont have to do anything. Its like they want my business.....
Called Charles about a truck I saw online. He was going to be out of town so he put me in touch with James. Also talked to Russ and Jay. All great people to work with and no pressure.I always hate sitting around the dealership for 2 hours after you make the deal waiting to get into finance. That is not a problem at Longbine, I waited maybe 10 minutes. Its worth the drive from KC to deal with nice people.
Fast, polite, good service
No pressure at all. Good people! Fair pricing. Free popcorn and soda while you wait. Love this place ❤️♥️♥️!
I bought a Buick Enclave two weeks ago. My salesman, Chris Thomsen, was extremely attentive & spent almost 2 hours making sure I understood how to work all the gadgets. When I decided to put in vinyl rather than carpet floor mats, Jeff in parts not only ordered them for next day delivery, but also installed them for me. I had a great experience buying my new car at Longbine Chevrolet Buick.
Got a used vehicle from Longbine and within the first 30 days vehicle was in the shop twice. They would not stand by their product they sold us and wouldnt cover the thousand dollar bill for the brakes that had just gone out. I highly recommend not going to this place customer service was very rude. Will never let the mechanics here even look at one of my vehicles. Biggest mistake I made was buying a car from this place!
On our route from New York to New Mexico driving my 2011 Chevrolet Traverse the vehicle started to run hot. We were on our way to National Championship Mountain bike race and had little time. Luckily we were only a few miles away from Longbine Chevrolet and able to drive in. After explaining my story they dropped everything and had my Traverse repaired in under two hours! Wow I have worked in the automotive business in the past but never experienced this level of service. From the service writer to the mechanic, everyone was extraordinary. I wish they were my local dealer!
Liars! I have a minimum expectation that a car dealership will not lie to you about the basics of the car you are buying. I expect they will try to sell you scotchguard mumbojumbo or use there own financing or sell you special insurance ect... But to my dismay Longbine lied to us several times throughout our buying process. I should have walked away and i regret not doing it. Billy Renfro was our sales person. He lied to us about no less than 4 of the primary features of the vehicle we would eventually purchase. The dealership mishandled our transaction, holding the title for 51 of the 60 days of our temporary plate. This caused us to have to drive 5.5 hours one way to deal with the registration of the vehicle. I talked to the dealership staff in good faith about the issues with the sales person but ultimately and tragically it looks like the incompetence comes from the top. Just to be fair; they did double my sirus xm trial for my trouble. Additionally I have had service done here in the past and had no such issues. At no time will I ever purchase a vehicle with Longbine and I advise you to find another dealership as well, they cannot be trusted.
Great service every time.
They make owning a late model car, easy!!!
I recently purchased a car at Longbine and am all-around very pleased with my experience and my purchase. The people there took the time to listen to what I wanted and were able to deliver. I appreciated how several staff members went out of their way to accomodate me. I will be returning to Longbine for servicing my car and future purchases.
On a recent holiday visitation in Emporia from our home in Oklahoma, my daughters defroster quit working. On the day after Thanksgiving, I called the service department and spoke with a very courteous and helpful gentleman named Scott. After explaining to him our dilemma, he assured me that they could work her car in and make the necessary repairs that same day! He also gave me a very reasonable estimate for the cost of the repair.. I would highly recommend Longbine Auto Plazas Service Department. They performed above and beyond the call of duty!
Great dealership to work with. Service always tries to get to our vehicles in a timely manner and are very responsive. Communication is great, and prices are hard to beat!
I used to like Longbine tell me what to buy a car for my wife and they screwed us over that I decided not to go there anymore so I started looking elsewhere the bank even showed us different dealership some places to go to buy vehicles by better quality vehicles
The best service and dealership in town. They always meet my needs and address my concerns. The service is the best I have had in my 20 years of car ownership.
I have been doing business with Longbine Chevrolet Buick in Emporia, Kansas for many years and have never had any reason to rate this company lower than 5 stars. Salesmen are not high pressure individuals and the service department is second to none. Need a new or used vehicle? I highly recommend this great company.
Amazing service as always!
They did good work, and were pretty quick.
Poor, Poor, Poor, if I could would rate no Stars. Did not finish the work properly! My Spark Air conditioning was not recharged properly after a transmission change under warranty. When I was returning to Texas the AC started blowing warm air and now you are telling me you cant talk with the dealer in San Antonio, TX to fix this problem. It is a WARRANTY deal not fixed right! Cant really understand why GM DEALERS cant talk to each other and get this fixed....like I am going back to Emporia, KS when I live in San Antionio, TX. All I need is the dealer in San Antonio to re-charge the AC correctly!
Great service and great customer service. The employees are wonderful. I trust the service staff to do a great job on my vehicle. I can depend on Longbine.
Could not get me finaced
The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly
You gave us excellent service from just dealing over the phone. We love love our 58 Chev Impala 2 Door Hardtop and so does everyone else
Love going to Longbine for all service needs! Quick and efficient and customer service is dependable! Love the people!
Quick and helpful! Trustworthy!!
Best dealership in the midwest. If you want the down home feel and great people, this is the place to go. They have always went above and beyond to help my family and I for over 15 years. This is a total team effort here at Longbine, give them a shot and you will not be dissapointed.
Good very fast in and out in 30 minutes
I have an Equinox that has had some problems with burning a lot of oil. There was a special coverage for this problem but I had to do an oil consumption test, there was an issue when I had my oil changed there but the service manager immediatly responded to the problem. I was pretty upset and didnt want to go back but I had to, to do the test. When the test was over it was a very close call on whether my vehicle was covered or not, the service manager took a second look and said because it is so close, we will honor it. They put me in a brand new vehicle to drive while we waited on the part and repair. They kept me informed of the status of the order and repair and called me when they noticed a problem with a different part and waived the labor fees since they were already in the engine. I didnt even buy my car from there and they have treated me so well. My husband bought a truck froma different dealership a few months ago and its having problems already and I was planning to buy my next vehicle from a different dealership but we will definitely look at Longbine before we go anywhere else.
When I called for an appt.I received the time and date i wanted. When arriving at Longbine, I was treated very courteously. the service was done promply, with a very nice place to wait.
I would not take anything to to longbine again and if there level of professionalism and responsibility the set standard of all chevrolet and gm dealer repair shops across country id highly doubt ill be in another dealership for repair on my truck. I had a break down nearby when my radiator failed and was mixing transmission fluid into coolant. Longbine was set to replace radiator and flush cooling system. I have a 2005 chevy 3500 dually with the 6.6 duramax. 2 days later I get my truck back making a noise that prior to repair didnt make. I postponed shipments that I was scheduled for to get truck back to my mechanic in Wisconsin who on inspection of the noise found a screw from a intake clamp in my turbo. Upon contacting the service manager about the issue 1st thing he denied touching intake at all to replace the radiator. Intake is a s&b cold air with s&b mouth piece. Then retracted saying service tech did remove intake box and I dont no how thats would be possible to do without removing the intake tube and filter as the intake box is mounted internally with 10mm bolts.. Upon discussion with attorneys involved they still denied any wrong doings. Which after discussion with my attorney the matter will be taken up with small claims court as well as complaints filed with the better business bereau. I would not take anything to them wether it be a oil change.. If it comes to buying a new vehicle I will take my money to ford or dodge first. Thanks to longbine my faith and business within the chevy family will be tarnished.. As I stated to service manager I live by doing a good job for my customers and aim to see 100% satisfaction if ever there is a issue I go above and beyond expectations to make them happy .. This customer is beyond dissatisfied with the longbine dealership.I do hot shot transport and was talking to a salesman about a newer truck within 3 months. Guess ill look at ford and dodge dealers across the country for a more stand up dealership that takes pride in there name. Not take advantage of the customers and do shotty service repair.. And looking now at reviews I see I wasnt the only customer dissatisfied with there service department .
Chris Thomsen helped us get our first brand new car we were going in super nervous so we didnt know what to expect finally picking out the car we got sent home in the new car since they were doing financial numbers to get us the best deal we came back this morning numbers were higher than we wanted but Rick Nunez didnt give up we looked at another vehicle just in case that was the best but in the end Rick got us a GREAT deal on the car we wanted so great we couldnt pass so we took it! I would suggest you stop at longbine and see chris and Rick because they really do care and listen to your concerns and want to help you out!
Never a complaint and been going there for 25 years
My wife and I went in to buy a new Silverado 1500 they had on their website for $10,000 off and we showed up and got the total run around. The salesman (I dont remember his name) acted like that price wasnt real and that truck was probably sold. Notice there were plenty of other dealers around that had trucks at similar prices, we just wanted to keep our business local. We sat around for almost 3 hours for them trying to find the truck and showing us different trucks with less discounts. Finally the manager, Rick, came out and said if we wait around for a few days he can get us a truck with a $9,000 discount. It was all smoke and mirrors and wow, Rick - what a guy. Worst customer service and biggest ego-head I have ever met. There are a lot of nice car dealers out there but LONGBINE IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
Salesman pleasant but calling too often.
