The store is fair. It takes forever to get anything done. Your system is always down in the store got people coming in needing help and they cant even get it its a mess thats all I got to say

Destroyed my iphone with the mower! Yikes! Called Chris at Cellular Sales, made an appointment for the same day at 6 pm and he was ready with the phone we discussed. With the upgrade I was due and after my husband upgraded his Android we were in new phones, all data transferred, within an hour. Chris is knowledgeable, engaging and efficient. Great experience!

Went to this store to download & activate new phone ordered online. Appreciate downloading contacts which really helps. She pulled card from old phone rather than using new 5G card. Thought that was strange. Phone ring worked & was told everything was done before headed out store. Yes, I paid for this service. Charged phone when got home - 50 miles away. Could call out & receive calls but nothing else. Called this store several times next day & no one answered. Called Verizon & they took me thru steps to put correct 5G card in phone & activated phone. Learned phone had not been activated day before. Called this store to discuss with gal errors but she was not working that day. Guy was with a customer & said he would call back. No call back to me. Not impressed with gal tech skills.

Very satisfied with the customer service Ive received from this store. Eswin reached out to see how we were doing with our phones, as we have worked with him before. Just so happened we already had plans to come into the store a day later. We live about an hour away so he made us an appt with him and stayed in contact to be sure he was available when we were to arrive. He did a wonderful job getting one of our lines upgraded and adding a tablet. Also knew we were in a rural area and got us hooked up with a jet pack, going to save us so much as we looking into service providers for WiFi. Made sure we got all the discounts applicable. He also checked in with us the next day to make sure the new phone was working out. All employees in the store were friendly.

We made an appointment in Emporia with Eswin. He took time out from home and family on a day off to come in and take care of Our jetpack that had quit. He even got my husband out of a flip phone and into a smartphone. So polite, so kind, always readily available to his customers. We cannot be more thrilled. He makes every effort to help his customers get the best fit. Super awesome employee.

Came in 4 people working 4 people being waited on. No chairs to sit in unless you pull one from a desk. After one of the workers gets done with their customer he waves at me and then goes in the back. So I sit and wait to pay my bill until one of the other workers gets done. Not happy.

Ashley Sherwood has been helping me with my phone and everything Ive been trying to do to get my phone switched over to the replacement one. Ive had issues with waiting for account recovery with Apple and she has been awesome! She is helping me with my google email also. She is very smart and knowledgeable with all of this and I have her phone number programmed in my phone! She is definitely my go to girl when I need assistance with Verizon and my phone!! She had been a savior for my un technical knowledge on this!

Went to the store on Tuesday to talk to a sales rep about my old phone acting up, and the possibility of upgrading early. The team at the Emporia Verizon is top notch, explained all of my options, and even gave me a few suggestions for phones I might like. Needless to say I took a new phone home that night, with the understanding that I could bring it back within 14 days if I didnt like it.It wasnt the phone that had been my first choice, and while it was a great phone, it just wasnt my style. I returned it Wednesday afternoon with absolutely no problems, they got me in and out in no time at all and ordered in the phone I had had my eye on. They got my old phone reconnected for the day and a half it took to ship the new phone to the store.As soon as the phone was in the store I got a call letting me know I could come pick up my new phone whenever I had time. I worked with Ashley to get my new phone all set up, and she made quick work of the set up, all while carrying on a good conversation. I got there around 2:30, and I was out by 3 with my new phone all set up. Ashley even made sure to download a few essential apps for me, since I was switching to a Google phone that didnt come preloaded with the Verizon stuff.I have never had any problems at this Verizon location, and Ashley and the rest of the team are top notch! Strongly recommend this Verizon location to anyone who has questions, or just needs help from a knowledgeable and hard working staff.

Shelby is a homegurrrll. 10/10 recommend. My car charger/aux cord bit the dust. I had to listen to the radio. Times were tough. But then like a true hero, Shelby shed some light and saved the day. She hooked me up with the perfect replacement and HAND DELIVERED it. Talk about seriously awesome customer service! I can now charge my phone and play my music again. Everything is back to normal and things are looking up. I don’t know what I would have done without Shelby and her expertise. I came to the store to exchange a cellphone that I had bought just days earlier. I sat down with Debbie and explained my situation. She said that I need the charger to make the exchange. I live a block away and told her id be back in 5. She then responded with, So youre going to make us wait on you? It was about 4pm. I said no, Ill find someone who knows what customer service is. Ive been a customer for 8 years. I called the Verizon 800 number, but they didnt care to much about the situation and said I had to use the store because thats where I bought it from. While I was on the phone in front of the store, Debbie came to my vehicle to say that she would help me, but i was done with her at that point. On a good note, Eswin has been very helpful every other time that Ive been there and Id prefer to see him over anyone else that Ive had the pleasure of meeting there before.

Went in to apply for the Military discount. Debbie told me twice that she would be right with and I acknowledged both times. While was assisting a lady get a new phone set up, Debbie was in everyone else conversations and then talking to a customer on the phone trying to make a sell. The people that work here are great but i Cant say that about Verizon the company. So disappointed in Verizon. I Have been with them for about 20 years, back when they were Alltell and had bag phones. Never switched once. They used to brag about their customer service, now they are all about selling you a new phone and not about providing service for for the one you have. I pay $212/month for 2 phones and a tablet to have no phone service 8 miles from Emporia. At one time you could count on someone at the store to help solve your phone issues. Any more the first thing they are trained to do is talk you into replacing the one you just got comfortable with. I was told the phone I had (for about 6 months) can not handle the updates that are available for the new phones that are out there now. Basically I am being rationed only the updates that Verizon wants me to have. I pay for the best but get a lot less. Just about had enough. Looking at Straight Talk because they use the same towers and service for $65 / month per line. What can you do?

Just not a verizon fan. Usually staff is friendly, but not very helpful. This is not a full store with privileges (the line I usually am given). They can usually give me a better CS # and I usually get the issue solved fairly quickly. It would just be nice if they c/would do it! ;)

They sold me a defective phone, then refused to honor the warranty. I was outside the warranty because I was doing diagnosing they asked me to do. I was then told that Verizon corporate cant tell them waht to do because they dont work for Verizon. They added a line to the account for a device that doesnt exist. The added over $100 in charges to the account for things like roadside assistance that I had explicitly told them to remove when I bought my phone. They also charged restocking fees on replacement phones so I could get a working one. Took nearly 2 months for me to get a working phone. My family will either go to Wichita or Topeka from now on

I recently received the most exemplary service from Eswin at the Emporia retail store. After AT&T incorrectly told me that my mother’s landline number could be ported over to her new address, I panicked, because, with her move to assisted living, I knew how important having her old number would be for her. I then discovered I could add Mom to my Verizon account and use a special wireless device to transfer her home number. I contacted the Emporia store, and Eswin ordered the device that day and called me immediately after it arrived.He gave me detailed instructions on how to set it up, which I was unable to do before returning home to California because the service was activated after I left.The most amazing part of Eswin’s service was that he went to my 89-year-old Mother’s assisted-living apartment on his lunch break to set the device up for her. She just wouldn’t have been able to do it herself. She now is reconnected to friends and family, which is huge for her. I am truly awed by Eswin’s kindness. Plus, he told me he can reduce my monthly Verizon bill, so I’m going to follow up with him ASAP!
