The mens room was clean. Crowded, tight truck parking at zero dark thirty when I stopped in. Right fuel nozzle was missing, so I only fueled my left tank. No hot food at that hour yet, but was told they were preparing it in back. Pretty much your typical Flying Hook experience in the early morning. The counter guy was pleasant & apologetic.

No hot water in the shower. The guy behind the counter was extremely rude and seem like he wanted to start a fight or something I dont know what his problem was it between 1900 - 2000 after I got out the shower to purchase food and drinks. He was wearing a Chiefs mask. Didnt ask me if I wanted to use my rewards points and just threw my items in the bag carelessly.

Unbelievable place. Still No food or not enough for hungry Truckers. If huddle house is closed you can go hungry to bed

Normally a fairly standard place to go, usually we come here and have no issues. But we went to service our RV today and their sewage was COMPLETELY full. Employee really didnt do or say anything other than refund our $10. Im sure theyll empty it eventually as I can only assume thats someones job, but we may not come back for a while, just to make sure.The RV park under the highway helped us out, and we are very grateful.

I stop at this location once or twice a week. The layout of the lot makes things really tight when pulling forward to make room for other drivers. Some pilots do this thing that puts a slight angle at one point in the island which limits the ability to pull forward at the bend. Things get even tighter when you pull forward and you are pretty close to the parking spaces.All of that aside. The worst part of this location are the drivers. When I stop here in the morning there are so many trucks just parked in the middle because they are unable to plan properly. If its not a parking space then people shouldnt park there. This is where Pilot fails at not having some sort of lot enforcement.The location also seems under staffed. Cleaning that never seems often enough, never enough people to run registers during a rush of people.Staff is always friendly and helpful. The other other bonus is its right next to a Blue Beacon.

Convenient location, the free spots are tight in certain areas, so exercise caution and park your semi according to your skillset when this place is packed ( the trucks can be very close to one another).Otherwise, they have showers, a laundry room, a food kiosk, theres a diner, and also a drivers lounge I believe.You can tell the location has been around for some years, and has gotten some use, but for what its worth? it seems to be pretty well kept, considering its the only truck stop in the area. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Im embarrassed for this Flying J location. I choose Pilot because they have always been there for me, and I spend thousands of dollars BY CHOICE here every month but, but this specific location needs new management1.I mean half the pumps were not working2. The ones that were working either the DEF dispenser was broken or the satellite pump handle was broken3. The keyboards were broken so forget about mobile fueling. Either 1 or 2 numbers on the pad wouldnt punch in4. Trash receptacles were over flowing especially by the entrance to the store (can bring vermin)5. All the window washing fluid buckets were empty or there were no good squeegees, broken ones or ones with the sponge ripped.Pilot/Flying J is my chosen haven for truck fueling. Come on Guys get it together please

Food was not well prepared and undercooked, service was very poor, wsitresses happily displayed their poor attitudes to us the paying customer just trying to get a decent meal to eat. Tried to exchange anitem for another of the same that was cooked fully which when that was brought out was in the same condition as the one returned. The waitresses then proceeds tp get highly agitated about it stating that she cant waste food on us by exchanging it for something else. None of us will be coming back here and we will be sure to spread the word. Its a shame people dont want to work anymore . THANKS FOR NOTHINGGGGGGGG. There should be a 1/2 star allowance

In my 31 years of driving this is the first time I’ve parked here. This place is a complete cluster f~_^! So many clueless drivers. I will never be back.Edit: I was just informed by management that drivers parked in the wrong areas keeping other drivers parked correctly is something they have no control over.

Two bathrooms stalls no soap in the showers or bathrooms, definitely a health hazard.

This fj doesnt deserve one star it is so fifthy inside the showers and bathrooms and laundry room i watched the porter clean the showers he used a spray bottle of cleaner and the used towels that people had just dried off with!!enough said

Oh boy...where do I start! Bathrooms were clean. Huddle house was very slow service but the food was good. The shower we had though...it was bad. Super small even though the lady knew 2 people were going to be in it. She could have suggested 2 showers. No light in the shower stall. Had to was in the dark. Plus the hot water wasnt working. Kept going from warm to cold until it was just ice coming out. Had to buy some hot chocolate just to warm up so I could get to the truck. Its 30 degrees outside so that was fun. The staff seem more interested in talking then they do about working. Very poor service.

Good place for a quick stop while you are traveling. This place has fresh coffee and friendly staff. I wish the restrooms were bit bigger. But other than that well maintained place.

9-4-21, at 1945 in the evening. walk inside for a shower, swipe card. shower guest 80 by the way. didnt get to take a shower. I walked back to my shower when it was ready, shower 1, asked for a spare towel. he handed me a wet one off the cart in the hallway as if that was somehow acceptablein a none third world country. oh well. get into my shower, both the hand/foot as well as body towel are used, wet, not clean. and no wash cloth either. walk up to front desk, wait in line. the young female help behind the counter playing on her phone breathing openly over the pizza under the lamps. manager couldnt care less about the extreme lack of customer service and poor disolay on her part, much less the dirty towel issue regarding the help in the shower area.all he did was refund my shower. he wasnt even interested in reprimanding the help in either circumstance. and this industry wonders why theirs an extreme driver shortage...

Was here for my 10 hour turnover. Females bathroom is disgusting. Every toilet, except the handicap, is stuffed full of paper. Door locks don’t work, and it’s literally disgusting.How can NO EMPLOYEE in 2, 8 hour shifts, not notice the bathrooms need cleaned. Bathroom been this way for over 10 hours.

The customer service as always is outstanding the last lady we had went out of her way we have our kids so the mess was a but much so we left a nice tip because were never disappointed food could use more seasoning and love the time spent or takes isnt as great as the taste could do better cleanliness is great for a truck stop and go so all in all 5 stars because its great for the location and service always 5 stars

Visited here for a shower and it was clean which was important to me BUT it was very small and every time someone flushed toilet my very warm water turned cold for a min so I switched it back to hot and it turned scolding hot then adjusted it back someone else flushed then water turned cold again. Ive been here once while traveling. I dream of going back but for one thing...Pizza. The pizza was perfect. I often think that this gas station is a gift from heaven to serve the world a delicious slice of the Gods dough and sauce. Forget New York or Chicago, this is the worlds best pizza.

Dont know about the other showers but shower 5 sucked. The space was small. The shower was either too cool or too hot. When you got perfect temp, it would make a loud noise and change temperature drastically!... after a long day I just want a nice shower. I hate this place every time I come here its trashy or they have no food.

Yet another disgusting Flying J/Pilot. If we didnt have to fuel at Flying J/Pilot we would never stop. Very few are decently clean, way overpriced for the same old tired food. For truckers this is often the stop to be made and one cant even get decent food or a shower and actually feel clean when you leave. The garbage cans overflowing, couldnt walk without stepping in a stream of diesel or oil, spills and bits of trash everywhere inside. Bathroom was nasty. We chose not to shower here.

Was in around 3 PM..what I saw..Mens bathroom flooded, coolers half stocked and not faced, cups not stocked, half the soda machine broke, heating lamps for food not working at hot bar, cold chicken fingers, floors looked atrocious with visible dirt.I suggest regional management pay a visit.

There are few Pilot/Flying J travel centers I wont use but this is one of two. Been using this as my first stop heading south for over a decade. Until the last few years it was clean and tidy. Always had to go inside to get my receipt but otherwise everything was ok since my gas discount made my purchase lower than surrounding stations. Now that is not the case and listening to the professional drivers Im not the only one who notices the difference. Theres always a bucket of dirty mop water in the entry area. No window wash in the buckets outside. Parking area is in disarray. As for the discount I paid $2.25...I get a nickel off of that and 5 miles down the road in either direction its $2.15 at regular price. Sorry Flying J youre not on my route any longer. Fix the place.

Nice Flying J, awesome the way they have RV pumps, dump site, propane, and RV parking spots separate from the semis, so you dont have to vibrate all night long with the semis running compressors and engines. The problem is this one is not just for RVs, semis (Bobtails and short trucks are encouraged by management ). This is sad weve stated at many very nice Flying Js. Weve always made Flying J our stop 4 fuel and more, if the price is better or not. Just because they do so much for us RVers.Now Ill call ahead and see before I aim for a Flying J.

One of my favorite Flying Js. Good food, easy access from the freeways, friendly staff, clean showers and toilets, no major litter issues, and good wifi! Not too many paid spots, but enough that you can get one if you know youre stopping here and want to guarantee a spot. Wish it was a little bigger, though: people parking in improvised spots after the marked spaces are full can make it difficult to maneuver, especially if youre trying to get back to the scale for a re-weigh.

Well stocked & clean. Its a good place to stop on your way through Emporia when youre avoiding the Turnpike.

Absolutely no hot food and only two.cold bologna sandwiches available in the store this morning. Employee laughed when I asked why there is no food today. Like its funny that about 50 truckers parked here wont have any food to start their day. Because Flying J appreciate the millions we spend on fuel at their locations daily?Will avoid stopping here in the future.

Got gas bit their printers dont work at the pump...so I had to walk thru the rain and stand in line for 15 minutes because they had one cashier for 40 people standing in line. FOX YOUR PRINTERS AT THE PUMP!!

Ive been to this location many times over the last 5 years and its always a bad experience. The pumps always have issues. Either they wont read cards or the passenger side pump lever is broken and doesnt work. The pumps need a major overhaul and replaced. When you park here at night, there are many drivers who will park against the curb or wherever they can fit, which will block you in if youre trying to leave early in the morning. The cooler/beverages are never stocked when I go here. They either dont order enough product or they have nobody to stock the shelves. Just continuous bad experiences over the years.

Huddle House Review! I just left. I didnt even stay for my food. Our waitress was not wearing a mask. The lady preparing a salad was not wearing gloves then smacked her hands together to clean them brought the salad to the customer then went back to making something then went over to the register to ring someone, all without gloves or washing her hands. She had a mask on but below her nose and mouth. It was just so unsanitary... we are in a pandemic!!!!

This horrible excuse of a Truck stop/ Travel Center doesnt deserve one star! Fuel pumps are always down, store is always filthy! Night Manager has the mindset of an unruly adolescent for sure! He must be the pride of the corporation. This guy WILL get you absolutely sued one day!

The flying j it self is not to bad and is decently clean the problem I had here was the the showers dust and mold everywhere. Foot prints all over the floor, peoples shavings still around the sink and on the wall, the shower needed a bleaching.

Wyatt, is very professional for as busy as he was tonight and ALL the people wanting his attention every different direction I was very impressed with his patience and desire to help. Thank you for a timely and professional service. When only 2 staff members on duty and 100s of drivers/customers coming in and out you guys did great.

This place doesn’t even clean the toilets in the shower rooms. They don’t have anything. No lids for the coffee. The pumps are broke and the place is just dirty. They need to fire all the management here and get some higher standards

Now if the huddle house was as nice as guy working fuel desk who joked with me about change for a 20 .and had hot good food that was fit to eat. This Truck Stop would be good. This Travel Stop is very poorly ran and extremely filthy from the Restrooms to the fuel islands. I do not think in my many years of traveling I have seen a more disgusting Travel Stop. Poorly staffed, witnessed the General Manager serving food with no plastic gloves and the workers having to show him how to operate the register.

We stop frequently at Flying J & appreciate that it always has the cleanest restrooms on our trip. My husband likes the coffee bar. Our last stop was on a Sat. eve. & our trip was held up significantly by a much longer than normal wait at the counter. There was only one clerk to handle the station at which weve never seen fewer than three. One woman and MANY professional driver customers meant increased service times. I spent ten minutes waiting to get two danishes, coffee, & a book. She was pleasant, but it made for a very long pit stop for our family.

Has been reviewed over and over but I failed to read those before taking my shower.. water isn’t anywhere near hot. Only warm at best and constantly gets cold then back to warm.. At one point I just had to step out of the cold water.Parking is gone by the time the sun goes down so plan ahead and consider a reserve spot or leave time to find another parking lot

Filthy bathrooms no toilet paper, very slow service, you most pay inside the pumps doesn’t take your cards, everything is dirty from parking lot to the inside, the workers were nice but the place needs attention.

Worst Flying J in the country, always a horrible place to stop. It use to be ok then over the last couple of years it really took a dive. Slow staff at the register and pumps not accepting cards. Dont waste your time and only stop here to use the restroom, spend your money elsewhere.

Its always clean and organized. Staff is nice and friendly. Gas is decently priced. We always stop on our way through to Kansas City.

Great! I always love the servive there. Clean restrooms especially recently but Im a little concerned about the water on the floor in front of your drink fountain also Josh that works there was very friendly and I enjoyed the cashier I cant remember her name. She has red hair and a nice smile

Good washer and dryers, shower rooms were the smallest Ive ever seen, no hooks to hang clothes but good water pressure. Gets hot and cold on its own so be careful

We always use this as a bathroom, lunch, gas and coffee break on our Kansas travels. Parking lot works great to keep the traffic flow moving. Split the trucking and standard vehicles to not have to maneuver around one another. The food specials in the service station are great but the restaurant is even better! Gas is always fairly priced along with all the beverages and random sales too.

Don’t stop here for a shower it’s totally wasting of time there are 4 dirty showers available over 20 minutes waiting to get cleaned and no one is willing to clean them. Very lazy employees and management.

They don’t have maintenance that cleans the showers, Manager gets upset that he has to clean it, and i dont know if this is how they do it at all Flying J Travel Centers but just a quick spray and wipe isn’t what I’d consider a good de-sanitizing solution. Went and got a refund before even attempting this cesspool and even the cashiers get upset when you ask for the refund! Been to plenty of Flying J/ Pilot Travel Centers and this was by far the worse one I’ve ever been to.

Showed up at noon. Needed to take a fast break time shower. Asked for a spare towel (wife was with me) at the desk. They radioed someone. I waited 5 minutes outside the shower and nobody showed up. Went back to the counter and two lines were 5 people deep. Went back to the shower intending to just use the one after the wife.Shower was tiny and filthy. Floor and toilet were clearly not cleaned and the sink was possibly wiped down.Trash cans outside were full and the fuel line was filthy. I will bypass this one on all future trips.

They have a nice area for dogs. Huddle house had the best patty melt I ever had. Seasoned perfect and the cook did an excellent job. Wasnt impressed with the young waitress. Never checked on us at all to refill drinks or anything. They were out of fries, fresh fruit, biscuit was so hard I couldnt eat it and out of strawberry lemonade. Lady manager did an excellent job of addressing issues. She went out to try and get driver who was apparently sleeping in fuel isle moved. Not alot of parking and had to wake up driver at 5am so I could leave as he had me blocked in. Tiniest shower I ever seen and no mat to step on when u get out of shower. The awesome patty melt made me leave the amount of stars I did

I stopped for fuel and propane for my MotorHome. All was as usual until the young man came out to fill the propane. He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. I was impressed!

This one gets five stars just for being in the right place at the right time. I was almost out of fuel and needed a Pilot/Flying J for company reasons. My low fuel warning light had been on for 50+ miles. I was never so happy to see a truck stop before. It looked really good as well

A mid morning pit stop as we returned home from Iowa. The dining facility located inside provide our brunch. The staff were quick to take our order and our food was delivered double quick. The food was great and the staff very cordial!

Small Parking lot for trucks.. Fuel Island is small and slow.. Huddle House has Good food at a great price.. Drivers get in early if you want a spot for the night...

I have stopped in several times the last time on 6/22/19. I used my credit card to purchase fuel. Within 3 minuets i received notice that my card was compromised. This was a new card never used until that day. This has happened several times in the past. This truck stop has a credit card fraud issue.. pay cash or better yet boycott emporia. Ks flying j. Over the past years they have tried hitting my card for over 100k. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think this is an inside job BOYCOTTING WILL GET THEIR ATTENTION..

Cold water in the shower today. ridiculous. I need to go to another truck stop to get a real shower. I waited 25 minutes for a cold worthless shower. this truck stop is too small. need a bigger one.. parking here is ... busy.

After waiting an hour or so for the manager to move the non paying drivers from the reserved parking area so I could get the paid parking spot I had reserved over 4 hours prior to my arrival, I went in for a shower and it wasnt good. There was mold in multiple spots in the shower, mold around the vanity, no light in the shower (burned out bulb?) and water would go from hot to cold hot to cold. This store is not managed well at all. I will not be coming back here again.

I Always go to Flying Js. They Always have Great prices on gas, and Clean showers (For the most part). Their Friendly Associates and the atmosphere is very nice. They have Good eats for people passing threw. And for the road warriors it is very accessible to the interstate and Plenty of parking for everyone.

Went to this Huddle House, the new waitress was very very sweet but unfortunately her coworkers had the most disgusting attitudes after, my girlfriends food came out cold. She sent it back and had them redo it, only to be served with some burnt unseasoned RUSHED eggs and watery grits that they had then warmed up in the microwave. She told us that the meal will be taken off but once we were ready to pay she tried to only take $2.80 off an almost $10 meal. We spoke with the “supervisor” (who was at home) and she was even more rude. After admitting she wasn’t the supervisor lol she than stated she “didn’t have time for this” and she has 5 kids at home as if I asked her to work here. But after causing all drama, the meal was completely free. I still tipped the waitress because she tried her best but the people training her were screwed up. This whole Flying J’s is just nasty all together. Went to go take a shower (me and my girlfriend got separate showers). They were so disgusting. Hair everywhere, toilets still had other people poo in it (IN BOTH THE SHOWERS!!!) never again!! I hope that new waitress find a better job because they were even mean and rude to her.

Not a good one got a shower room and the shower would not cut off. Scolding hot water and could not adjust. Told manager and there like oh it should have been put out of shower sooner then now.... I would avoid if at all possible...

This place could be 4x bigger and still be full. This place is packed by 430pm. The shower, fuel, and store were nice. Make sure you pick a spot that you can get out of, people park all along the edges.

Ive been here a couple dozen times over the last twenty years and the place is always pretty decent, as Flying Js go. Like most truck stops these days, the lot fills up pretty fast and youll be lucky to find a place to park much after dark. The trash cans at the fuel island werent running over and the pump areas were fairly clean and there were serviceable squeegees and cleaning liquid in the buckets (sounds simple, but a lot of truck stops cant seem to get this right). Inside was pretty clean and well stocked and the employees we friendly and efficient.

The parking area is WAY too tiny. NEVER less than 75% full. Fuel island arrangement is badly placed due to tiny parking area overlapping with it. Miserable experience getting into and out of it if westbound, and not much better going east.

Huddle House: I had biscuits and gravy and they were way too peppery I could not eat them! Even though I didnt eat them I gave them back and we didnt get a discount. The waffles were great. Poorly treated by the waitresses. Getting gas with fine!

Nice place but overnight parking is very, very limited. Acreage is cheaper in Kansas then out west. Hhhhmmmmmm. 👍

I may have been close to here but this business doesnt fly the American flag, so I dont spend my money here!!! They publicly stated they dont bc it offends some of their patrons....???? Really??? The restrooms are clean, the pumps are easy to get in and out of, and the store area has a pretty good selection of hot items as well as travel snacks, and Fountain drinks. A good place to stop on your road trip.

I like flying Js and pilots. Lots of parking, reserved parking available for your 18 wheel big rig truck,convenient fuel stop, convince store pricing lots of products. Staff is nice and the showers are 4+ stars.

One gas pump wouldnt read my card. The other was out of receipt paper. The coffee and breakfast sandwich was great.

Just spent 10 minutes watching some poor driver try to back. Once again PFJ has decided to sacrifice safety for greed and made the area too narrow to safely back in. Greedy company shame on yiu5.

So its a good truck stop. They have decent road food and amenities youd expect from a truck stop. However, there isnt much parking and the bathrooms are disgusting. The staff are very polite.

Good amount of fuel pumps available and not overly crowded restrooms. Pretty important features for a rest stop...don’t particularly enjoy the restaurant inside, but the convenience store portion I’d recommend

Unfortunately the day that I was there it was not good. Very dirty and looked like the bathrooms and food area needed a good cleaning.. No buns for hot dogs. Overall just a big mess. I just got chips and a drink and kept moving.

I never get more than a 4 at a Pilot Flying J because they cannot control the parking on their fuel Islands I know theyre busy but these guys are taking that 30 minute breaks and these guys its morning to take showers then go in there and eat what can we do you said out that align one place in California to guy in front of me and then that 47 minutes to your clock the Pilot truck stop and Tony Denman the only reason I feel that its cuz company makes me feel that other than that I would but have a good day
