I love this place. Its always a pretty fast drive thru for the most part. So far only 1 guy has exceptional customer service skills. The girls could definitely learn from him. Because the girls sometimes act as if they could be doing something so much better than serving you. But the treats I always get are delicious so thats how it got a 5*.

Ice cream was delicious. Service could have been better. The blonde yound lady was awesome but the brunette named Sarah was not very pleasant. Really put a downer on my visit.

This is the only Dairy Queen that can manage to correctly make a Chocolate Chip Blizzard. We have gone to 6 other DQs around the region in the past year and none of them were able to make it correctly. Thank you so much for fast, friendly service and for making the Blizzard I love so much.

Ordered an anniversary cake asked for the number 29 on top. Clarified twice that it was for an anniversary and wanted 29 on top. Went to pick it up and it says #29. When we called back and asked who decorated and complained they said we could bring it back and they could try to fix it but that a residual red would be left over from previous gel frosting. We opted to try and fix it ourselves but this is not the first time we have had issues. Apparently anniversary numbers now look like jerseys or hash tags. I will be going out of town next time I need to buy a Dairy Queen cake.

Very disappointed to drive out of our way from the freeway to experience the free cone for the first day of Spring to find out this location doesn’t participate. Cool looking old store, but seems like they only serve the treats, no food.

The only DQ in town. Family owned and their employees know their jobs! We drive 18 miles more often than we should for our favorite DQ treats! Great service, delicious treats!

Took 4 of my younger grandaughters. Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Had ice cream cones. The oldest said the attendants have to learn to. Put the perfect curl of ice cream. They did. Excellent time.

Just like how good I remember it being when I was a kid.

Just now went to grab the baked brownie and ice cream dish, where i like to add another brownie (which ive gotten before) and the lady who took my order basically charged me for 2 instead of just the extra brownie. 10$. which then i always ask no extra ice cream because when they give me the ice cream its just the perfect amount for me to eat 2 brownies. Well for some reason this time they gave me less ice cream than usual and felt rude that i had to ask for more ice cream when i asked not give me extra with the extra brownie. she was rude and had attitude and was not happy with her at all. loved the desert!

It is a great place to get delicious treats and the staff is amazing! It is also a great place to work!

I want to vote this way up because we absolutely love the ice cream and blizzard options they have the funnel cake with strawberries is my favorite BUT!! We get the commercials boasting dairy Queens delicious burgers fries and hot dogs & this location doesnt have anything but the after dinner treats :(

Its a hit or miss with their blizzards. Sometimes they are mixed properly and sometimes its half ice cream that has nothing mixed in.A few employees know what they are doing and you get what you came craving for and the others have no clue how to make the desserts correctly. So its all up to your luck on who you get making your order. This location being just the dessert options and not the full DQ experience, you would think they would train their employees better.Like another reviewer mentioned, I have yet had any of the employees turn the blizzard upside down before giving it to me.On the other hand their ice cream cake service was fantastic. They called me ahead of time letting me know there was an issue with the design I ordered and were able to accommodate another design. It was ready for me to pick up at the time I requested. The cake turned out great and tasted fantastic as well.

The icecream is very good but I saw a poster that said if a blizzard is not served upside down the next icecream is free and it never happend to me and I always get a blizzard thats not served upside down.

Great location! Blizzards were excellent! Well mixed with good proportion of toppings! Inside is clean and has the cutest DQ vintage lamps! This location also has a drive thru and serves Orange Julius. Glad to have a DQ in Emporia!

The sign says 12 Dilly Bar for $9.40 with no mention of specific flavor combinations. I asked for 6 butterscotch and 6 chocolate. They said they would have to charge me $2 extra because of the mix I chose. Shame on you DQ for false advertisement!

Gave this DQ three visits all three times the experience was the same, poor. Ordered blizzard each time same resulting product not mixed, 3/4 full, and they never turned upside down. I would suspected that the employees never turned the blizzard upside down because it would all fall out. I would not suggest anyone visit this DQ not when there are some many better choice in town.
