This market is one of my favorite places to order Mexican food. It is so authentic and delicious. I especially recommend it for cooking a Mexican meal for your family. The beans are amazing. The tortillas and meat are very fresh.

This place is managed by complete imbeciles. They close down to open a small restaurant they never have what there menu provides. For example I go in to get the fish either the salmon or Mahi. 90% of the time there out they dont even know if they have the first thing they say is nooo we no have I own a small shop down the street so Im in regularly cause they prepare it well. I waited to write a review because I didnt want to be that guy but I mean common do you job order right take inventory management needs a lesson on how to run a restaurant.

We no longer live in Encinitas but make a point to pay a visit to this authentic, long standing, family-owned local market every time we pass through town. The fresh handmade tortillas and carne asada preprarada have been a staple for local Leucadian barbecue get togethers for as long as I can remember. A truly vintage gem nestled within the chaos of an ever-changing environment.
