Moist Brisket, Tangy Pulled Pork, Crisp Apple Cole Slaw.... Cant wait to dig into the smoked sausages I brought home.
The prices listed on the website are not correct. When paying for the takeout I had ordered the price was nearly doubled. When questioning the increase, I was told to “blow them up online because they don’t listen to us”. While I have always enjoyed the food at Huntspoint, this experience has me not wanting to go back or tell anybody to go there.
Oh my!! The brisket is to die for !! First time here and the barbeque is amazing ! Homemade sides also just topped the cake ! On my route to NH and never knew it! My one pit stop that I definitely will make. Thanks for the great meal !!
The prices have increased dramatically and are not what is posted on their website. The portions are tiny for the ridiculous amount of money that they charge. Almost $90 for 3 plates of food. The food is ok, but don’t waste your money. Go 5 minutes down the street to Goody Coles and get huge portions that taste amazing for half the price. My mom was in town and craving bbq, Goody Coles wasn’t open so we tried out Huntspoint and it was a huge mistake
Bad experience for our first time. Brisket and pork belly burnt ends were very tough, with an almost chemical taste on the brisket. Coming from South Carolina it was like tasting a completely different food. Would not return unless I learned it was an off day, or other menu items are better. Price for two of us was 50 so it was quite expensive.
Great Q! We split a sampler for one with a couple extra sides. Everything was great. No sauce, no need. The pulled chicken was juicy, the pulled pork not greasy. The sausage had a great smokey flavor, and just a touch of spice. The jambalaya was heavy on the tomato, but also had great spicing. The ribs and brisket were excellent. The apple slaw was sweet, as were the beans (with a good bacon quotient), and the cuke salad wasnt full of onions. Not a fan of eating in? Take it home from their copious meat counter or freezer.
UPDATED REVIEW FROM WORLDWIDE FOODIE: Looks can be deceiving! The ribs, all 3 sauces and sides were really good! Potato salad was the best my bf ever had! But our Apple coleslaw was all water and the NY pastrami wasn’t even close to NY pastrami (NY is very thick, here it’s shaved) but still tasty. Portions are very small and prices are high but the flavors were actually pretty good and different than Goody Cole’s, which I think is the point. I will stop at both places next time I’m down there. Ribs, sauces and sides from this place and brisket & cornbread from Goody’s. Hoping their portions are larger OR their prices are lowered next time I’m down there! Or at the very least, their sides are fresh. Everything should be perfect when you pay that amount! Went to Goody Cole’s first to pick up my order and their line was 16 people deep. Then, I went here to pickup my order and it was a ghost town. But, I still stayed hopeful. When I opened everything up, I could tell right away that it wouldn’t even be in the same ballpark as their competitors down the street. I’ve never had chewy brisket in my life, until today. I don’t understand why anyone would open a BBQ restaurant right down the street from one of the best BBQ places in New England! (maybe even the best in all of America). But their BBQ is a different kind and pretty good.I drive an hour each way to just get Goody Cole’s food. I paid $40 and each place too. I got a tiny bit of food (& a watery side) compared to Goody Cole’s $40 Family Meal. I just don’t understand their pricing at all.

Was looking for a quick lunch locally and try to avoid the chain restaurants whenever I can. Stumbled on Huntspoint and ordered the pulled pork with smashed potatoes. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent - juicy, smoky, overflowing with meat and the provided BBQ sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The smashed potatoes were a pleasant surprise. I wasnt expecting much but the outside skin was crispy while the potato inside was soft and moist. All this quality for a very reasonable price. Will be my go to stop for lunch on my trips to Sigsauer.
We have gone to Huntspoint frequently for the past couple years because we enjoyed it, but this time was our last. Not the same as it used to be.-Upped the prices by $3+ on plates. Portions continued to get smaller each time we went.-Their hours said they closed at 7PM on Fridays, we got in just in time, but they were turning away customers, and proceeded to take down the flag once 615PM rolled around -- how are you suppose to run a business with unknown hours & turning away customers? (EDIT: Made edit to time as my original post hours of when I got there was wrong)-No beer/alcohol, but advertised on the sign outside.-Customer service continues to get worse, staff seems unhappy when they have customers and it seems like you are inconveniencing them if you dont make a decision fast enough/in general. I understand having a bad day every once in a while, but this is time after time.
Literally the best BBQ and Mac and cheese Ive ever had. 10/10 5 stars
First time we went in to check the menu No one even waited on us. Second visit no welcome just eat in or take out. Very expensive for 1/2 rack of ribs and with no sides. $25.00. And not that good either! Don’t waste your time!

Food was dry and didn’t taste super good. prices were 5$ more, at least, per food item on the receipt than they were on the menu, so that was a bad surprise. i am a southern gal so maybe i should just stop trying bbq up north
Have never dined in but we have purchased meats on several occasions and they were fine. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, however. It always feels like we are inconveniencing the staff by coming in and any questions are met with a just hurry up and get out of here attitude.
The place was pretty nice, all-though it has its down sides. dry food, ants everywhere, no alcohol license, slow service/ short staffed, a random youtube channel. i am not big on bbq, so i suppose this is just my pov.
The brisket was tender and juicy. Great BBQ sauce. The Smashed Potatoes are a must !HUGE SELECTION of cryopacked meats for you to bbq yourself.

Maybe it was an off day... I ordered the kobe beef brisket (1lb. $30.00)Ive and heard many good things but it was just disappointing. The meat was dry and didnt have much flavor. in the bag was one small side of bbq sauce (which was very good) but not enough to go with the order. If i am up that way again I may return and gove something else a try.
Food is great. I wasnt felt welcome as I walked inn. The women wasnt that pleasant. I asked about the meat for 2 because no price on the website. She just pointed to the board. So it was 40 dollars. There was a good amount, with a side of mashed and side of Mac and cheese, ribs. Pulled pork. Brisket and sausage was excellent. The sweet sauce is also good. I would go back. I hope the help would be alot more friendly.
First time we stopped here and were very pleased with the selection of meats. Got a barbecue ribs plate and 2 sides and it was enough for the 2 of us or one big eater . Excellent service and they even brought it to the car. You could smell the next batch being smoked in the back . Definitely will be stopping by again . :-{D

Just had the pulled pork and pulled chicken. Sadly watery with very little flavor. That on top of very unfriendly service and I can’t find myself to give them any more than one star, the minimum.
I ordered a brisket sandwich and french fries- $15 and change after tax.The sandwich was made with a hamburger roll. not a huge portion but the meat was very good. The french fries were very good. The last time I had a brisket sandwich was at the airport in Atlanta last year. It was very good smoky, moist meat, served on a 6 inch ciabotta roll for $12. The hamburger roll is kind of lame.
Saw Huntspoint BBQ on Chronicle, and the next day traveled the 1 1/2 hr trip. My husband had a grocery list size order. We ate almost all the smoked hot sausage on the way home. What BBQ we ate when we got home was very good. But I would encourage customers to check their take out orders before leaving. When we got home and took everything out of the bags we discovered we were missing some bacon he had ordered and was charged. So I deducted one star. Will probably go again if we’re in the area but will diligently check our order.
I’ve been here a few times when they were new and they’ve accommodated a celiac’s need for Gluten Free.Tonight I specified twice my food allergy and please do not include corn bread. I get the tied up bag and get home, finding corn bread in the plate.I call, they close in 25 minutes and I’m not going to make it back. Rude employee blaming the other person. He was five foot from me listening to the order. I asked to speak to the owner and he laughed “good luck, they’re never here during business hours. Try around 9:30 on Monday, but they’ll be gone before we open”This staff doesn’t care about the business and neither does the owner apparently (staff perspective).I would not recommend this business as of this moment.For someone with celiac disease, diagnosed 20 years ago, this would absolutely make me very sick.I paid cash and tipped. If I paid on a card I would have challenged the charge as this is effectively poison to me.Updates after owner commentReceived a full refund AFTER my wife took the food back to the store. We drove 20 minutes out of our way to get it.My wife received a very curt attitude and still not a single apology to date. The business, from staff to ownership have never apologized - just blame another person.Not sure about 3 reviews - but my wife was not happy after the interaction yesterday. Fabulous BBQ! We got brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, smoked chicken and smoked ribs. Everyone raved about the food! For sides we had the Apple coleslaw, Mac and cheese and jambalaya! Again, outstanding! And the cornbread’s was delicious too! This was the first time we’ve ever had their food and we’ll definitely be back for more!
Ribs were pretty blah, sausage wasnt that good. Had the beans, too sweet and cucumber salad, needs more flavor (vinegar). Cornbread not that good either. Had higher hopes for this place.
Burnt ends were very good thats why I gave it 2 stars. As someone else said, brisket was tasty but very dry. It ended up being shredded. It was perfect for chilli. I am a purest and dont use sauce on good BBQ I wish I had some for this brisket. Any good server should be capable of noticing when brisket is that dry and know better than to serve it. So unfortunate that I bet that was a great meal 2 or 3 days earlier.
First time I went there it was a MASTER PIECE. I got two full racks of ribs with fries and coleslaw. DELICIOUS. I went there this weekend for July 4th for the second time and let me tell you I was disappointed. Maybe it was because the bosses weren’t there, but I got the same thing and the ribs were super hard and uncooked on the inside very very disappointed. Hopefully that won’t be the case... Next time I go.
I strongly recommend, just go here. Huntspoint barbecue is delicious! 5 Stars always. Yesterday, after I ate their barbecue, I left feeling like I was going to explode! Outstanding Barbecue sauces, amazing meats, and fantastic homemade sides as well. Staff was helpful and helpful that worked here. Lots of seating inside, and Full Bar is coming soon.

Friendly service and a nice selection of sauces at this off the beaten path BBQ spot. Ribs were tender and the sampling of pulled meats were delicious. Beer selection left a little to be desired (they were out of many things) but I go to a restaurant for food. The smashed fries were yummy and unique.
This is Authentic Texas barbecue; some of the best I’ve ever had. Their pulled pork has ton of great flavor, and their brisket is smokedto perfection. They keep house-made sauces on the table, but I never use them because the meat is too good to use barbecue sauce! I had to purchase for my parents as well. My father loved it. We will be back soon.
5 Stars all the way! Their brisket and ribs are one of the best Ive ever had. Brisket was melt in your mouth and pork ribs were fall off the bone. Great bark and outstanding rub. Try their Collard Greens and Mac and Cheese. A+. Look forward to returning soon.
I am from Ohio, and I have never tasted BBQ this good ever! They used excellent spices, great smoky flavor, and their Mashed Potato is absolutely wonderful. Its so worth it!!! I am going back again tonight! The smoked turkey, brisket, ribs, pulled pork are to die for. You can order Barbecue Sampler Plate which gives an opportunity to try pork ribs, brisket, sausage, pulled chicken, and pulled pork without breaking the bank. Im hooked. Now, if I can get them to Cleveland, Ohio. 😀.
We visited here with my coworkers yesterday. The food was definitely Devine ! We traveled here from Boston, and the trip was worth all the way from Boston. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had wine selection. Their barbecue was amazing. I lived in Austin, TX for 10 years. This is the best barbecue in New Hampshire. Their Ribs were juicy, meaty, and delicious. Brisket was great, moist and mouth full of flavors. I cannot recommend their Barbecue enough!!! Real Texas Barbecue, Amazing!
Beef brisket and Burnt Ends are phenomenal!! Great flavor, very moist and juicy! ... There barbecue is smokey and full flavor! Pork ribs were fall of the bone and sausages are good in flavor and cooked well! Huntspoint Barbecue can go head to head with Franklins Barbecue in Austin Texas.... Enjoy!!!
This place is so great!! The food was amazing and the owners are so nice. The meat was fantastic and the sides were all made fresh. We had brisket, ribs, beans, cornbread, bacon potato salad and (my favorite) cucumber salad. I will definitely be going back again!!

The steak tips are okay and worth the price, but everything else is mediocre. Staff is rude and extremely unhelpful. Owner does not respond to Facebook messages. Counter staff did not know if dry rub has sugar in it, which, as a diabetic, is Dietary question i NEED to know and should be a simple answer. I’ve visited multiple times and had the same negative experience with counter staff. Would not recommend.
The bbq brisket sandwich was dry and the smashed potato fries werent very salty
I have been here many times, the food is excellent for the most part. Today I took Kobe brisket to go and specifically asked for the moist end, when I opened the container it appears I was given the driest cut possible. I have had the Kobe brisket many times and this is definitely not what I have ordered in the past. I suggest sampling before taking something to go.
The people who work here dont seem to know much about meat. The man told me that beef and ham come from the same animal! I know thats not true. The owners here also have a dog that they severely mistreat. It is starving and is allowed to run all over town.
This place does barbecue right and there prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Their meat plates portions are pretty large, too! All of their bbq meats here is absolutely delicious! I love their sweet barbecue sauce and homemade pickles. Staff is always friendly and service here has been great every single time Ive been here!
The food was good but the guy behind the counter acted like we were troubling him I asked him for burnt ends on a sandwich he said there is no such thing Im from Texas and Ive had that plenty of times, he was rude. Thats why I gave 2 starsAnd I notice there is no response from the owner I guess he likes his customers treated bad.
Ordered take out for my lady and I. My gf tried eating in the car on the way home and her beans were cold and the corn bread was bland. I warmed up the food at home, pulled pork & pulled chicken with a sweet potato and apple coleslaw. The meat was good and I liked the coleslaw.

Trucker here, was in the area and I stopped by for a bite. Absolutely satisfied, the ribs were my favorite. I also recommend trying the greens and the baked beans. Will definitely be back
One of the best Barbecue restaurant in New England i have been to. Excellent barbecue and meats. I ate and had to buy more barbecue to take it home with me for supper. Cant wait to go back.

The Bulky Roll ( one of the best bread products I have ever tasted) Pastrami Sandwich was delicious. It was pricey, but good food, grown locally and cooked to perfection always is. If someone is looking for cheap food... This isnt the place for you. If you are looking for incredibly cooked barbecue hit Huntspoint. :) The counter staff was short with us but that is to be expected as she was cooking also. If you enjoy great Barbecue and arent afraid to spend money to get it. Stop by and visit Lovely Love and staff. :)
I stopped into Huntspoint BBQ today and had the best brisket sandwich Ive ever had. Juicy, tender, awesome taste and topped with their hot sausage. I also tried one of their St. Louis Ribs and all l I can say is perfect! These guys know BBQ and Ill be stopping by again whenever Im in the Epping area. Highly recommended!!
Best BBQ I have had. Brisket was so juicy and flavorful. Sausages melt in your mouth. Pulled pork and chicken were fantastic with no need for additional sauce. Love the dry rub ribs. Everything was tender and melt in your mouth good. Best burger too. Fries were great. Greens had a bit to much vinegar for my taste. Slaw with apples was fresh and delicious. We wont go anywhere else for BBQ after this.
Very delicious selection of BBQ. I had the brisket and sweet sausage with coleslaw. It was neatly out together for presentation and the taste was better than I expected. The service was excellent. The lovely lady that took my order was pleasant to talk to. I will come back to this place.
Grabbed a bbq sampler for 2 a few days ago and it was okay. Nothing that would bring me back for a second visit. Brisket was kind of dry, so were the ribs, but the pulled pork and pulled chicken were good. Smoked sausage was a little overdone and mushy. Our sides were the star of the show...jambalaya and cuke salad, absolutely delicious!
Stop to have lunch while in town during the whole covid-19 crisis food was great worth the price paid for it great butcher shop if you happen to need me to take home and smoke.
Great barbecue, great sides. I am a barbecue fanatic, I tried the other barbecue places in the area. Huntspoint Barbecue is the best by far comparing to any other barbecue that Ive tried so far. We are coming back soon for more barbecue.

I went in and had THE BEST pulled pork and Apple coleslaw Sandwich I think I have ever tasted! It was perfect! There was texture, tender, the right amount of sauce and spice. Phenomenal! Highly recommended if you love BBQ! They have a wide variety of meats to try as well. My new favorite BBQ place to go and eat by far!
First time getting food here. I have to say, other was AMAZING!! We got half pound each of pulled pork and Angus brisket, and quarter pound of burnt ends. Also got a sweet potato, some mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese to go with. Well worth the trip!! Fed three adults and one child pretty well!! We will definitely be going back!!

Excellent pulled pork, interior is the way that BBQ places should be and lots of meat and plate choices. Prices are unfortunately really high compared to other local places but the pulled pork is worth it. Will be back, just would love to see more bang for the buck.
Delicious barbecue, and dining area is great for large groups of people. They have beer and soft drink varieties to choose. Inside of the restaurant has barn style wood walls. I like it here. Very delicious meats and side dishes.
One of the must visit BBQ destination in New England. Their staff is very friendly and their barbecue is by far the best and I loved their homemade side dishes and cornbread. The best Barbecue and baked beans Ive ever had. Their coleslaw with freshly chopped crispy Apples is to die for. Portion sizes are worth their weight, I got nearly 1 lb bbq meats in my 3 meat plate! Love it here.

I saw them highlighted on Phantom Gourmet and knew i had to try it. Thankfully work had me in the area so i stopped in expecting the same old bbq. Little did i know the difference a real smoker makes. I had a combo platter with hot sausage and ribs. They weight them out which gives 3 nice meaty ribs. The sausage was amazing and melts in your mouth and the ribs are smoked perfectly. I got cucmber salad and apple slaw, both were a very nice change of pace and delicious. The owner is beautiful and came out to chat and thank me for my business which was a lovely touch. I will definitely be back soon.
The very BEST Barbecue in New Hampshire. Their pork rib plate with 2 side dishes with a corn bread is 100% homemade, and I really enjoyed their barbecue. Their barbecue is not expensive comparing to other places in NH, and you will get the best quality barbecue. It is totally worth it. Pork ribs has lots of meat on the ribs, and not expensive at all. I tried bbq in every BBQ restaurant in NH, and Huntspoint has the best BBQ by far. Definitely recommended.
Came highly recommended, for good reason I found out. Shared the sampler, all of the meats had their own character, were moist and delicious. The brisket was the highlight. Mac n cheese was rich, cucumber salad was sweet and refreshing. I have a small smoker at home so having access to the quality meat is great, but.... Should probably leave it to the experts at Hunts Point on this evidence.
Food was ok, not great, and when your a mile from Goody Coles you need to be at least close. Older guy (owner?) was surly, unpolite, and it was 1140am with no other customers. 8.00 up charge for brisket on a 2 meat plate, portions were just ok.
After driving on Route 125 and passed Huntspoint BBQ joint for 2-3 years couldnt resist the delicious Barbecue smell and I finally stopped by yesterday. I ordered cucumber salad with pork ribs and a corn bread. Hands down, the best ribs Ive ever had before. I will be back soon.

Coming from another state and tasting that bbq, I am convinced this place knows how to smoke their meats right. Everything i had, had mouth watering flavor. Great staff too! If you’re looking for the all around experience then this is the place to go!
I Love the taste of their Bbq... Let me tell you... I prefer Huntspoint Barbecue over any barbecue in the area. My brisket is a fight with my brother, I dont want to share it, my mouth dripping Q. Just give me my Brisket.
The Barbecue food here is incredible, the meat is award winning. If u are looking for authentic food in a clean, friendly environment it us a perfect place to stop in for a meal but bring your appetite!!!
I recently had Huntspoint BBQ cater my wedding. They did an AMAZING job. All of my guests absolutely loved the food and continued to go up for second and even third helpings! We could not have asked for a better company to cater for us. I would recommend Huntspoint BBQ to anyone looking for a BBQ catering company in the area- or even just to grab lunch/ dinner. What a phenomenal family owned business!
I saw this Restaurant on the Phantom Gourmet and wanted to try it. I was charged more for than the prices on the menu. I ordered a 3 meal plate and only received 2 meats. The food was cold and very small portioned for what I had paid for it. A small hair was found in my cornbread very gross! This was a take out order and could not bring it back considering I live far away. I am not bashing the place just writing my review and rating in my own experience. I will not go back! (In order to post I had to rate it 1 star and that is too much for a very unsatisfied customer)!
When you walk into a bar-b-que place, it should smell like Huntspoint Bar-B-Que. The smell of their Barbecue made me stop to eat while I was traveling to Durham. This restaurant has picnic tables, and round tables in their dining area which is warm and welcoming.You go to counter to order and grab your drinks, and meals came out within 10 minutes. Combo plates were large, and the amount of food that comes in it was too much for us. Most Combo meals come with at least two large sides and cornbread. Since we were on a budget in my party, we all ordered Angus brisket or pulled pork sandwiches with sides. Sandwiches were very cheap, I paid $10 for a large pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! The brisket sandwich was $9 that came with fries and I ordered the sweet potato side dish which was a great accompaniment.Food was quickly served and staff was friendly. Will definitely come back to try their pork ribs and pulled chicken! Great southern BBQ in New Hampshire!
I was in last week for lunch with my boss and had THE BEST brisket I have ever had. So flavorful that the sauce was just taking up space on the table. The bone fell out of the meat when my boss picked it up.We met Lovely who is lovely and she was telling us about all her different recipes. Great place overall, amazing food-go very hungry, you will not be disappointed!
Purchased the waygu Grade 3-5 sirlioks for over $20 per steak. This stuff is not even choice grade beef. What a rip off can get a better marbled cut anywhere else for less.

I don’t usually won’t go out of my way to write bad reviews and don’t think I’ve ever given someone one star but I am so grossed out. My turkey was dry (BONE DRY) and the rub was disgusting. All of the sides were basically inedible. Everyone at my table (4 of us) left extremely dissatisfied. I’d go down the road to Goody Coles. I am literally in awe that anyone found this establishment good and I have been to some pretty tasteless places.
The owner genuinely wants to make sure you enjoy yourself. The food was delicious. Yummy sauces. We had the sampler plate. Try it!
Was impressed by the ribs, pulled pork very tasty . The staff was very friendly. I also purchased two ribeyes for home from there selection in the meat case . Quality meats I’ll definitely be back there. Got my friends gift cards they will love it . Worth the trip everyone
Workers are oblivious to what constitutes a wagyu steak.. they are incorrectly marketing their meats as “kobe” and “wagyu” and selling it to uninformed customers..I feel like I have put a burden on them by entering the store. After reading the responses this owner gives to reviews I am amazed this place continues to get business.
Burnt Ends were AWESOME. Sausage (both sweet & hot) were GREAT. Apple cole slaw was surprising & really good. My son loved the Mac n Cheese and pulled pork.Negatives:1) eating area was not well heated & pretty cold (early March, still pretty cold outside).2) Non-beer beverage selection pretty minimal.A bit pricey, as some have commented, but BBQ aint cheap, especially in NH, so no complaint.But none of that diminishes the quality of the food... Ill be back!

We tried the sampler with 2 sides. Sides were collard greens, first time for both of us, and the baked beans, very yummy. Have to go back and try some other choices. My favorite was the ribs and brisket. Id go back and get that. My hubby liked the pork sausage and the brisket. The sampler was the best choice for us on our first visit since we got to sample a good choice of the different meats. Well worth our trip from Loudon. We will be back.
I bought an amazing 10.5lb pork shoulder butt from them for my Patriots Playoff party. My buddy use to butcher game growing couldnt believe how nice the meat was. The customer service was great and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of all natural small batch sauces. Everyone at my party would agree that the meat and 3 individual sauces were excellent. People that dont know good BBQ would rate this place poorly or dont understand it takes time for great food. I cooked my pork overnight in an all natural cola and the meat just fell apart. Each sauce I bought had a distinct flavor. I will be going back to purchase a full BBQ dinner for my Super Bowl party
Delicious homemade food in a clean, friendly, laid back atmosphere! We like that its REAL food not fast food. The mashed potatoes side is one of my favorites!
