Just wanted to take a moment to leave a positive review for Lincoln Ave. Auto. I brought my 92 GTI to check a possible leak and an occasional clunk from the front end when turning. David checked my car over, gave me some insights on what may need repair/replacement in the near future, but ultimately gave my car a clean bill of health (just a minor power steering leak). Long story short, he could have come up with some preventive measures to charge me with, but in the end, he told me to take my car home and drive it!And, amazingly, he didnt charge me one cent. This is definitely an honest and trustworthy place to bring your European auto.

These guys are the best. Bought an upgraded factory part for my 2018 Jaguar E-Pace which the Dealer wanted over 2 hours labor to install. Lucky I found Angelo at Lincoln Ave Auto Service Center. The fix saved me more than half of what the Dealer wanted to install the part.They are honest and professional and I will be back.

Recently brought my car to David, to fix my car. He wrongly diagnosed and wanted to charge me thousands. I took the car to the dealer who diagnosed it as a minor issue for a quarter of the price. This guy is a scammer. STAY AWAY. HE WILL TRY TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF YOU.

My SUV (RX300) was making a horribly loud grinding noise. Took my car to Lincoln Ave Auto Repair since I had my brakes repaired there and was very satisfied with the repair. I was asked to pop hood, which I did. He came back with some power steering fluid, filled up the container and sent me on my way.... No charge!! Noise is gone! Dont find that kind of service around much anymore.

Took my 2006 Audi A6 with 150,000 miles to my local dealer. The check engine light was on. He ran the scan and told me I needed a new timing chain for $10,100 (yes, that is not a misprint), new catalytic convertor for $2,100, and a manifold flap for $360. Mentioned this to my Volvo dealer (Pauls in Hawthorne) who ran a scan for me that only turned up the manifold flap issue. Pauls said they had the Rolls Royce of scanners that worked on Audis too. Pauls did not have the specific Audi tool to fix the car so I brought the car to Lincoln Ave Auto. Their scan turned out the same as Pauls - only the manifold flap. They had the tool to fix it and charged me $220. The check engine light went off. They road tested the car and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my timing chain or my catalytic convertor. Car runs perfectly!The dealer was basically trying to steal my car. He likely would have given me a low trade-in on my timing chain challenged car. He could have then had it fixed at Lincoln Ave for $220 and turned around and sold it at a nice profit. In the meantime he was pushing to sell me a new Audi. it was just lucky for me that the people at Lincoln Avenue have the expertise and integrity to service their customer in a fair manner. Guess where Im going the next time my Audi needs maintenance or repair? Lincoln Avenue Auto repair is the place to be!

A few years ago i was looking for a mechanic that i could trust to bring my mini cooper for tune ups + repairs. i found lincoln ave auto online + when i went there to check things out, i found the owner, david, honestly advising me about the concerns i had regarding my car. a previous mechanic told me that i needed to replace something in my car when david assured me that i did not.on a recent visit, i brought my car in for a few repairs + david gave me a quote for the work. unfortunately, he came across a problem + had to spend several more days than expected on the job. he was very appologetic each time we spoke. i wondered if his extra time meant that the job would cost more than his original quote. when i asked him, his response was no, i gave you my word, and i want to honor that. davids honesty, knowledge + work ethic have my respect.
