Nice clean Italian Deli, they do have a good variety of sandwiches and even tho my request was not part of the menu the owner was nice to make it for me. If I could rate 6⭐️ I would.

The only thing better than the amazing food is the service you receive from Eddie and the crew. Everything is prepared with care, and only the freshest ingredients are used. Sandwiches are made on delicious, crusty hero rolls, and the homemade salads are better than any others I have tried. We also love the zucchini pie, chicken pot pie, soups, and pasta sauces. Eddie never disappoints- highly recommend this local gem!

YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE! This is without a doubt the best Italian deli I have ever been to. Being full-blooded Italian ( half Sicilian and half Neapolitan) I have learned the best food from both of these regions of Italy. When I visited my friend in Maywood I told him to find me the best local Italian deli around his neighborhood and he hit the nail on the head! From the moment you walk in the door and get the aroma of the Italian sauce, herbs and spices that are being prepared, you know your in the right place.

Best place around to pick up an Italian Sub. Excellent Mozz! Always greeted with a smile and they make sure you know they appreciate your business.

Food here is always amazing! The only place I go when Im in the mood for an Italian sandwich. The owner, Ed, is such a nice guy and really makes it a point to try to get to know his customers. The parking situation isnt the greatest, its street parking, but the food totally makes up for it. Cant recommend this place enough!

Cozy spot for real Italian cuisine

I make it a point to always stop by A Family Affair whenever I am in the area. The owner, Eddie, is very friendly and always remembers your favorite order or recommends another for you to try. This is a family run business that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. Authentic prosciutto, mozzarella, cherry peppers, and all the good stuff. Fantastic value and definitely worth the trip out here.

This place is my go to for catering. I ordered a 4 foot hero for New Years. I got exactly what I asked for on time no problems. Thanks Eddie!

The Family Affair deli is a great local spot for quality sandwiches. Quality ingredients and food prepared with great care.They have an extensive menu of specialty sandwiches and can make anything else you might request. The bread is always fresh and delicious. In addition to sandwiches there are sides, pasta salads and lots of homemade deserts.The Godfather sandwich is delicious as is the breaded zucchini and all their items. The owner and staff are very friendly and treat first time customers and returning customers very well. Definitely a great place to pick up a sandwich for lunch or to order something for a party or event.

I live an hour or so from Fair Lawn but when craving calls, I make the trip. Sure we have Italian delis, BUT we DONT have TRUE Italian delis. I have been a patron of Family Affair since its opening. I have known Ed, Eddie and Angela for almost 40 years. The BEST!!! Its that time again to make my trip. :-)

Was happily surprised to find a solid Italian only a few blocks away from me in the Broadway District. There are dozens of sandwich choices but I had the #1 which was your standard prosciutto & fresh mozzarella but with a twist of a black olive spread. The briney/oily olive spread was a great change up on this classic sandwich. Ill definitely go back to try more of their combos. I could see this place turn into my go-to Saturday lunch spot.

The best part of my week is visiting with Eddie and Angela to enjoy their delicious food and friendly service. Great food and the nicest people everywhere!

Best deli Ive ever been to, and I work in NYC. The owner remembers all of my food allergies (which is a lot lol) and makes sure other workers know so I am not at risk. It doesnt hurt that the food is incredible. Stop by if you ever get the chance.
