Very clean, well lit facility with easy access. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s also very secure with security gates and access codes per client. I didn’t use the moving van but it is a nice feature that they offer. I like too that they offer trolleys to help you transport things from car to unit.

The facilities themselves are fine. I did appreciate the ease of storing my belongings and, at the end, the ease with which I was able to end my contract. Life Storage as a company is far less pleasing. They raised the rate several times after they took over from the original owners, and also refused to give existing clients any deal, despite offering the same size units to new customers for as much as $70 less per month at certain points during the COVID crisis. This company does not seem very customer-oriented to me, and I made it a priority to remove my belongings from this company

My mom lives in Fair Lawn and had this storage unit for many years Staff very friendly and helpful especially when I was finally closing out the unit during the COVID quarantine my only negative comment is that there was no dumpster to throw out garbage when closing this unit My mom had alot of stuff and unfortunately we had to take everything home to discard which made for many trips and extra days to close out unit But overall great place

Oh my God. Ilene/Eileen for president. She was so nice and explained everything to me. It’s tough because of covid you have to call from your car, but Eileen handled it SOOO well. No physical contact so we did our transaction safely. Eileen went over all of the options for me over the phone and took my call multiple times because this was my first time and I did not know how things went. I would definitely refine d this location just because of Eileen at the front desk.

I love this location is very convenient between home, work, the grocery store and even the pharmacy. The people there are very friendly and patient. The grounds are very neatly kept and I love that I can go to my unit after 6 p.m. and holidays as well and most importantly feel safe. Oh yeah and if you set up your unit online you get a free month. I used packaging materials from Uncle Bobs for a recent move. Your store was clean and organized, and the attendant was super friendly and helpful. She made sure I had everything I needed (including an inventory checklist) without trying to sell me anything I did not need. The boxes were very sturdy. I especially appreciated that many of them had cut-out handles for easy carrying. Will definitely use this location again and recommend it to friends.

Pretty impressed by this place. Thanks Edith for being great and making this the place Ill use each winter for my motorcycles. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean units, secure facility, and the prices are reasonable for the local market.

The only complaint that I have is the proprietary locks you can only use at Life Storage. Everything else was fine.

This is my first time renting a storage unit I will not lie I was nervous about it at first but after speaking with her and seeing the facility I’m 100% comfortable with my decision to do this.If you’re looking into storage units GO HERE.

Used them a couple times, still currently renting from them as I type this.... place is very clean, new locks are great, staff is very friendly and helpful.... pricing is fair for all the units Ive inquired about, gate is reliable and never fails to open... main office has basic supplies relevant to what youre there for so you never need to leave when organizing or making room, packing inside your unit etc and need more tape, or boxes or bubble wrap.... I would rate them 5 stars if they had more carts available for use as I have arrived several times to unload stuff from my vehicle into the unit I rent only to find that all the carts are being used by someone else, or a moving company or group of people loading a uhaul.... which is understandable when. Nobody else is there, but if other cars pull up... they shouldnt have to walk to the other building to look for a cart.....the other thing I noticed is theres no camera in the elevator, and I would feel more secure at night if there were more cameras or more lighting.... lastly I think its time for the floors to be repainted and for the carts currently available to have their wheels oiled with some wd-40 .... otherwise this place is good. If youre in Fair Lawn and need storage, I reccomend giving them a call first.

The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgable and courteous. I was in a time crunch and had called ahead asking if we could finish the paperwork quickly, my expectations were exceeded! They had everything ready to go to sign and explained to me the fine details that I needed to be aware of. Upon reviewing the location itself, it is very secure and clean with wide hallways, and a large freight elevator. The complementary moving equipment suited our needs in transporting our belongings. I had also brought some dollies of my own but it was nice to have more! All in all, a pleasant experience and Im happy to be renting with them.

In the summer of 2016, I needed a place to put my things/Furniture, after a move to the area and another place didnt workout.. Well first of all they have really great customer service the Boxes we got were very sturdy. Denise suggested that we get a big package of boxes of different sizes and that turned out to be so helpful because you just never know what youre going to get when you go to buy storage boxes. she told me a lot about what they had and I would definitely go back and get boxes from them.

Denise at the front desk was a rockstar. Our registration process was quick, fun, and super simple. Were excited to make use of our storage unit!

This out beats cube smart, which killed me every 3 months on how they would charge an extra 24 bucks. My wife and I appreciated the help.

Have very little involvement with the people running the place recently, but when I did a few years back those here at the time were very pleasant to work with. However, rates have skyrocketed in recent years and in the last three years they rose about 60%.I would highly recommend people to go anywhere but here as I get nothing more for the higher cost. In fact I am looking to move to a different storage company, but it is a hassle to move everything. Cost of living has not gone up much, but cost of Life Storage has gone through the roof.

DENISE & Tom F are super helpful & knowledgeable we were happy with Life Storage but found a closer and larger brand new facility for our stuff.

Denise and the rest of the staff @ Life Storage are phenonemal! The facility is well kept, good hours, rates are fair and similar to what you would find at other storage places. The customer service is really what sets them apart. If you are on the fence then definitely do not hesitate to go here.

Had a good experience, Marcos showed me two spaces. He explained everything in details. I was very happy with his professional customer service. I will be renting a storage space unit in the near future.

Once again I went to the storage unit and the elevator was out of order. The office was closed. I had no choice but to climb the staircase multiple times because I had to empty my SUV. The office had told me that the elevator was fixed. This is the third time since Thanksgiving that the elevator has broken and no one is accountable. Corporate e-mailed me that someone would call me to discuss this matter. To date no one has called. No surprise! Only reason that I gave it one star was because I had to in order to write a post!
