A good selection of fresh burgers and steaks with a knowledgeable butcher and priced fairly. Seasoned chicken items are also good and fairly priced. The rest of the grocery experience can be hit or miss. They aren’t always well stocked, especially in the fresh produce and dairy sections. Service depends on who’s available and can range from very helpful to unhelpful.If you’re after a good cut of steak, they’ll be able to satisfy your needs. I’ve never tried their cooked food; it doesn’t seem very fresh and appealing. Yes, they do fresh pita breads so that’s a plus.

Overall nice grocery and halal meat. However Im not happy that they increased their meat prices, furthermore they charge $0.50 a pound if they have to remove skin. On top of it, I asked them to cut chicken into small pieces and they charged $0.50 a pound again. If I buy more than lets say 10 pounds or so, theyll charge $0.50 a pound again. I have not seen any meat shop charging extra for each step of cutting/ processing meat.People working at the meat shop are fine, its just these self made rules makes no sense to me. Ive been buying here for years and 10 other shops in the area.

I stopped here to get cinnamon sticks. My first trip here was Friday, 2/15/19. At that time I stopped on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had them. I purchased all four bottles on the shelf. It took me a while to find them because the spices werent in alphabetical order. There were employees around but no one offered assistance or seemed interested in helping me. The gentleman who rang up my purchase was polite.I was in the neighborhood Tuesday 2/19 so I stopped by again. The cinnamon sticks hadnt been restocked. My experience was the sameIm giving one star because the store was super clean and another star because they sell what I wanted to buy. The cinnamon sticks were very fresh.They are just opening so I will probably try them again. They are hiring so my hope is that they hire friendly people who help customers.

Amazing place, me and my wife we had wonderful experience last week, and as you can see from the pictures we had a big party last week about 50 people and they delivered all the food on time and the food was really great, starting from the salad, up to the main dish, and the most important thing they are very generous and not very expensive compare it to other Middle Eastern restaurant in the same area. also, the people who work there are so friendly and they keep doing their best to make their customer happy. I highly recommend it, its the best Middle Eastern kitchen in Detroit.

They have a hot food cafe. Had the meat and chicken shawarma and falafel. Really good. Grocery had decent selection. Fresh fruit and vegetables.

I recommend their Fried Kibbe and Zaatar bread. They are the best in MI. Very good service and friendly staff.

The best middle eastern food in Michigan. You need to call ahead of time if u need something specific or large amounts. The cheese pies are the best. They also have catering for anything you would like.

I wanted to get some groceries from Patel Brothers one evening and found them to be closed for business when I reached there. Thats when I thought of checking out Orchard Grocery right next door to Patel Brothers. I am glad to have found this grocery outlet as they have a wide variety of offerings right from exotic produce to sweets. The check out process was pleasant as they had one of the kindest cashiers and state of the art checkout process which also accepted NFC wallet payments. Ill definitely substitute some of my visits to Kroger and Patel Brothers with Orchard Grocery.

I deleted my previous review cuz i overlooked some things and gave them the benefit of the doubt but today broke the straw. Weve bought a ton of bread from them only to find out one hour later that it was all molded and made a fool of ourselves to all the guests we served it to. Hamburger and hot dog buns. And tonight while eating seeds from a pack of their bulk pumpkin seeds be found a caterpillar or a worm crawling through the seeds in a sealed package. Quality control seems to be low here. And as I said in my last review if youre not Middle Eastern customer service is lacking and they kind of brush you off and look at you weird as if youre not supposed to be there. we went through the rest of the package and found more nests of worms and tiny baby worms

Ive been buying lamb meat from all over Michigan. This store, by far, is the only one that is holding consistent quality with the quality of lamb. Keep it up Orchard!!!Also, their beef shawrma is spot on!!

Wide selection of Middle Eastern food products. They also carry lots of nut products as well, that are really fresh and of high quality. What I like is their food as well. Their sandwiches are really great, especially their meat and shawarma sandwiches. I just love their sandwiches and not to forget their Hummus and Baba Ghanouge as well. They also have a few tables set aside so one can enjoy their freshly made sandwiches. Will definitely visit again when Im in the area.
