I went down to Ft Myers to visit family. I went to take off and my speedometer wouldn’t work. I pulled up to the shop unannounced. Phil was able to help get me back in the air. The price was good. Even though this shop is a 5 hour flight from my home, I think I finally found good avionics shop that will do quality work at a reasonable price. To me that’s worth the flight.
Tomlinson Aviatonics hasnt returned any of callsThe last call they picked up the phone and immediately hung upGoing to have to take the plane to another Aviatonics Shop
BIG SHOUT OUT to the folks at Tomlinson Avionics who are helping send thousands of boxes of Girl Scout cookies to our deployed US military troops! Thank you for your donation to such an amazing program. A local business with a heart! WE. LOVE. IT!
Excellent combination of “old school” and “new school” avionics shop. Family run, very knowledgeable and friendly...got me back in the air quick & would definitely recommend for everything from repairs to steam gauge airplanes to the latest n’ greatest in glass make overs.
I highly recommend this avionics shop. Ralph was very helpful in determining what I needed after I explained what my use for the radios would be. They were punctual on the installation and it looked great when they were done. I had a problem with the range of transmission and they said bring it in as soon as I could and they would fix it. It was a quick fix and was not related to the installation or radio. There was a bad coaxial connector on a cable to the antennae which was the original and not replaced during installation. For their testing at the airport, after installation, it worked fine at close range. They had no way of knowing about the range issue which they took care of immediately. I will use them in the future for any other avionic purchases or maintenance.
Great guys. Dan and Phil are great guys
