Super dope comic shop that carry’s a little bit of everything. I found some awesome Funkos and figures while shopping. They are in deed a pretty dope shop. They have everything fromModern day release to long boxes full of golden and silver age comics. Prices a very fare probably bestI’ve seen for golden and silver age. Defiantly a place i will visit a great many times

The owner is really nice and comics are priced really good. He has some awesome collector comics and toys there for sale and have a great assortment of comics. Everything is organized by alphabetical order and number. They have there own web site too. Id suggest come check it out.

Second time back and definitely going to be a regular customer. Honestly the best comic shop in Ft Myers. They have both vintage classic comics and new indie comics. They also have some merch but also their own merch for classic horror stuff. They also ship to your house or have store pick up if you dont have time. The owner even showed me and my friends a signed Elvira Funko Pop, which was honestly super cool. 10/5

Very good shop. Plenty of recent releases and a fair amount of back issues. Dollar boxes in the back. Really enjoyed the extra bits of original art and art books as well. Definitely worth the stop which was out of my way.

Very nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Ive been here a few times now and have had a really good experience getting books here. Love hearing the folks talk about random things that make you feel like youre in the barber shop all while nerding out. Had the chance to meet an up and coming artist and author of The Angel of Sanhill, which was a good experience in itself and got an autographed sketch. The guys behind the counter know their stuff and are very helpful. Fully recommend this place for all your nerd needs.

Such an awesome store. This store has been great even with the issues caused from covid. People need to not blam world issues on store owners. I love how this store combines my love for comics and horror.

I was looking for a book, and I found it used on Amazon for almost 100 dollars. This place had the same book, brand new, and 15% off cover price. They shipped it within about 15-30 minutes from when I ordered it. Also, they sent email updates during the entire process. I will definitely order from them again.Update: I ordered from them again, and its been about 3 days, and my order hasnt shipped. I guess I shouldnt have gotten my hopes up after the excellent service last time.

They have adjusted hours now; they closed at 5 this Monday.

I truly would have take a greater portion of the store with me today if it would all fit in my luggage. I cant wait till I am back in the area to visit. Out of all the comic book stores Ive been to this is by far the best. Its clean and organized and has everything from back issues to rare and desirable 1st appearances not to mention several CGC books. This place is a comic collectors paradise. Ive never had a problem with any staff members and the owner is probably one of the nicest people youll ever meet. They always greet you as soon you walk in and make you feel like family. They know their stuff and are happy to answer any questions or just simply talk about comics. I definitely recommend this place and if you stop by youll see why this place is highly recommended.

Very cool place with allot of collectibles and knowledgeable staff. One of the employees took a minute to show my kid (who is a huge Marvel/ DC fan) some really cool sketch art.

Nice little shop. They only seemed to carry mainly current issues of Marvel and DC comics. Didnt really find current issues of any other publishers like IDW, Albatross etc. They did carry graphic novels from those publishers though. The staff was really friendly when we stopped in.

First time visit today. If I had been paying attention I would have been in a lot sooner. Fantastic comic store. Huge selection, very organized, and love the look the of the store. Definitely will be going back many times! One of the nicest comic stores I have ever been in.

Cleanest and best designed comic store Ive been too. Standard newstand and a decent selection of back issues. What I like best is the inventory is always changing and its worth going multiple times a month to see what new books theyve put out. Owner and staff very friendly, helpful, and normal (which is saying something for comic proprietors). Definitely worth checking out.

Definitely the best comic shop in ft. Myers area, was kinda disappointed how limited the selection was though. But definitely had a lot more than anyone else around the area did. And owner was very nice and knowledgeable

Being from up north its been hard finding a good comic shop that has what Im looking for. Hero Trader has become my favorite place to pick up current comics. Theyve got a great selection of both current comics and back issues. Jeff and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful if youre looking for anything in particular. This has become my regular go to shop for comics in SWFL. Definitely check them out if youre looking for comics.

If you are familiar with the comic shops of old (Moondogs, Mile High Comics, etc), you are not going to be disappointed. Take the knowledge found in the classic shops of the bygone era and update it into something that is more welcoming to the newer fan and you have Hero Trader.The shop has some SERIOUS books in stock for the collector looking to fill that rare-book gap in their collection, as well as a number of more entry-level friendly comics for the more casual collector. Nice quaint little comic book store near some good food.Owner was very friendly and prices were very very fair.I would suggest to check it out on your free time and visit if you are into collecting figures and or comics. They have an arsenal of great stuff.

Awesome is all I have to say one of the best, cleanest comic book stores Ive seen in a while. It has that geeky environment your looking for in a comic shop, and you can lose hours. They just opened but if there like this now I cant even imagine a year from now (look forward to it). Jeff and his staff is awesome and check out his life like magneto statue, I can go on and on but you get the hint, check email out.

I love this place! Geeked out with the employee who knew a lot about comics, was very helpful, and answered all my questions. Atmosphere is great and the comic selection is expansive. They also sell Funko Pop figures, comic book frames, and posters. Definitely coming back here.

Very friendly when greeting customers. Quaint small place, and a little hard to spot from the road. Hope they get more fanfare and recognition, need a bigger spot or area to expand. Need to expand their TPB section, notably missing were Dynamite, Darkhorse and Valiant selection of comics (Im an independent-comic type of guy). Great selection of Marvel and DC though. Didnt check out their art/artist corner though I should. Hope they have many successful years to come!

Great store. The owner Jeff is very welcoming and extremely well versed in the product he sells. Very bright, open and clean, unlike many comic stores and one of the only local stores to carry a large selection of individual back and collectors issues of comics and magazines like Weird Tales and Creepy. Good selection of toy collectibles with a large vinyl POP Figure display. Collectors action figures are there as well. Often I go there to check out their selection of comic, video game, movie, or pop-culture art books.Ive placed a few special orders for art books and trades (collected issues of a comic series in a hard or softbound book) and have yet to be disappointed with their service.The store also features a free Art Bar, a long table for aspiring artists or anyone else who feels like being creative to draw with art supplies that are provided free of charge. I often bring my own pencils and copic markers to draw, color and ink pictures.A great place and kid friendly as well though many of their books are best for ages 12 and up or mature readers they DO have a childrens section for trades and graphic novels. Jeff and the staff can also give recommendations based on age and interests for customer looking to buy for someone else.A+ rating. The best comic store in Fort Myers! Beats out all the competition in town, Cape Coral and Naples no question.

Upon entering the comic shop, I couldnt help but realize how nicely all of the comics were displayed. So, naturally, I began to flip through some of the new volumes. I was then scolded by the employee for reading the books. As I went to put the comic back, another fell off the shelf. Before I had a chance to pick it up the employee said that we were ruining the whole display and kicked us out. I would have spent good money on the comics there, but thanks to the terrible service, I wont be going back anytime soon.

My favorite comic shop in SWFL by far. Ever since Big Kats closed down there was no place for me to go and regularly look for comics (there are other stores in the area but they didn’t have that same feel). I found out about Hero Trader and decided to check it out. It filled that spot for me and it truly is an amazing shop! The owner and employees are top notch and are always down to talk and give you great recommendations. I couldn’t imagine a better comic shop!
